F1 2010 (PS3, XBOX 360, PC), F1 2009 (Wii, PSP)

Codemasters ARENT releasing their Formula 1 game this year.... I for one am well pissed off! its something ive been looking forward to now for the last year or so... it wont come out until 2010! On PSP and Wii though it comes out this year... WTH?

Load of shit imo. I regularly visit their forums and they let people get all excited about the game (nothing from them in nearly a year), then 2 days ago they announce a BIG announcement (cue a LOT of excited F1 fans) and what do they do?

Announce a bloody wii and PSP version and announce no PS3 or Xbox360 version, makes my blood boil

Thats pathetic it really is. The main selling point for them has to be the PS3 + 360 versions i would of thought. I bet that they will used the excuse that because DIRT 2 is coming out this year, they have to bring F1 out next year instead.

And the worse thing is, it could have been avoided. They could have just come out and said it a few months ago, that they may have to delay it

Yeah exactly. Idiots. This sort of thing really winds me up as there were so many people looking forward to this game but they still leave us in the shit for god knows how long before telling us.

Very disappointing and they have only made things more difficult for themselves because by the time the game is released next year. It'll be a new season with more rule changes, drivers will be on different teams and teams will have new cars.

The words free DLC comes to mind.

Sony decided not a renew the licence because Bernie wanted a stupid amount of money, so Sony told him to... you get the picture

Yep I dont blame Sony for chucking the F1 License away if Bernie the prick Ecclestone decided to jack the price up! Ah well lads the F1 Game will probably be a twitchy arcade fest like DiRT and GRID so if your a F1 sim Fan you probably wont like it anyway.....

At least I can check out the PSP version it may give some indication as to how it will play come November!

Yeah super if you love an Arcade game totally agree and me and Plan M often give this game a go on Xbox Live

But for career modes and realism the cars dont handle realistically, they twitch in an un-realistic manner which annoys the shit out of me.

The thing is with codemasters im afraid that they will turn this into a arcade style game instead of the simulation which i always loved in F1

They have to include the safety car in this one.

They pulled it from F1:CE at the last minute, supposedly. If its not included, i'm not buying it, its a fundemental thing in F1 and can change how the race is run entirely

Yep and its been very prominent this season. To be honest there is no reason why they cant include EVERYTHING that F1 is all about. Its plain Laziness and especially now we arent likely to see the game until next year on PS3 and 360... Codies in my opinion have got to deliver.... otherwise its another year of playing F1CE with 2006 cars tracks and drivers

Rfactor with the F1 09 Season patch just aint good enough for me
