Everyone must know of this discovery!!!

This Demo was never meant to be played on 1080

absolutely mate
always check the game pack, and look for the appropriate resolution: for most of the games it's 720p, it's the best resolution after 1080p, but for PES YOU MUST choose 720p.

Adam, try it ... this tip should be posted on main page as dwhite said

nice one caniggia

Everyone go to settings and untick the 1080, 1080i.... Simply leave the 720, 480 checked!!

I cant believe how good the game is, it blows my mind how Konami did not inform Adam of this, after all...he is testing all the versions

Adam once you try these settings you wont have time to respond you will be so busy playing the game!!!

On PC does anyone feel any difference when playing using the wide camera and normal?
Seems like it plays better (a bit faster) with normal camera. The response issues are more noticeable with the wide camera.

Is it just me? :?

I can only speak of the PS3 version, as it is the one I have and noticed the amazing changes. This is freaking unbelievable!!!

I have played over 20 games in a row non just tonight, I am in shock of how much a difference it makes!!!!

I have no problem with the response times. If you want the response times %100, you'll have the 2008 and 2009 gameplay back! Arcade!

By the way... In order to truly notice the difference at once... Make sure you play the game on match mode: Regular.... That way you have all the time on the ball that you want for trial and error purposes.

I see a lot of 'halleluyah' about the 720p-solution of Caniggia, but the game speeds up again to the arcadish speeds of PES 2008/09 and that is a much too big sacrefice. I am not happy with this solution.

This is REALLy worrying, especially for online play. People play with different settings, camera angle, etc. If changing something like the camera makes the gameplay totally change, then what happens online with the gameplay clashes? Lag? Teleports? :?

hahahahha..

Arcade speeds, shut up man seriously, go play PES09 then play the demo, your just being pathetic now, it's not hard to tell the games alot slower at 720P than 08/09

wish people would stop moaning and just enjoy it

I play 720p from the beggining, it has serious response issues (22" monitor).. you're telling me it's even worse in 1080i/1080p?

Have been playing the game on 720p for the past few days now and havent noticed much of an improvement but I was playing with 576p to start off with, it does look stunning in 720p though.

One thing I will say and I have been one of the most vocal critics when it comes to Konamis past two previous efforts and sites that talk up the game, I was even on here after the first few plays of the demo stating that the slow response times will sink the franchise but after more in dept playing I have one thing to say..................

if they can improve the response times, make the keepers slightly better, improve the running animations and get penalties finished......................

........they have an absolute Masterpiece on their hands. It will be the best PES so far, even from the demo, the depth and variety of goals that can be scored is awesome. Its a real joy to look at and play, great fun and exciting too (I love the sound the ball makes when it hits the frame of the goal) and with the additon of the tactical cards, various gameplay modes and online mode its set to be the best footy games ever, thats if they use the remaining time wisely.

From newer code testing and various podcast reports it seems the response times have already been improved, it looks like maybe Konami have done something really special here. I never though they would ever see them reach the heights of PES5/6 let alone surpass them but this game has the potential to do just that and that would be a huge achievment.

how can changing the resolution of your HD tv make a game more responsive?ive tryed pes2010 on my sony bravio in 480p and it makes no difference because theres not reallly any response issues in pes2010 its simply a case of a different timng system that people just arent clicking with.

Seriously people konami have used a similiar timing system to there ISS games on the n64 and when you click your be in seventh heaven like i am creating and scoring goals like the ps2 days.

Yes the demos not quite as smooth or as optimised as the final version will be but whats there already in the demo is hghly playable.Pes2010 is different its about creating openings, using the long pass more and subtle little ball momentum shifts to skin defenders and wing play. Its taken me 4 days but ive finally broken through pes2010s tough surface and realise what a deeply subtle game this is.

Its so important to keep your cursor in assisted as this isnt like older pes games which were not playable unless you had the cursor in manual, this is the game which konami have got the cursor speed right and the game flows and shows its magic in the assisted setting.

Why should we lower the resolution on our PS3?

Any game meant for HD should work straight out the box. If Konami can't produce a PS3/360 game that works properly, they should of keep releasing their PES products on PS2 and Wii only.

720P is HD you tool.. plus the fact i've even linked to a video showing that 720P is better than 1080i, shows that your not lowering anything by using 720P the games optimally designed for 720P so use it

It seems that player reacton without VSync if noticeably faster. Ball controll is increased, it is more easy to turn and dribble.
I must admit that i like the old VSync slower gameplay, and less ball controll more. :)
Now I am not sure how much is PES 2010 slower than 09, and if it si at all.
Did we get same arcade, ping-pong 09, 08... only with nicer graphics? :?:
Konami really needs to have this thing under controll and fixed in the full version of PES 2010. :!:
It wold be disaster if the difference between victory and defeat in online playing would be if player knows the trick to trun off VSync on his video card.

I've seen your last two posts, and calling people a tool and pathetic isn't on.

Treat people with respect please. Thanks.
