Re: FSB Podcast Discussion
what negativity? the only negative comments ive seen about the demo so far have been from the WENB regulars who posted in that FIFA forum down in the games section.

Hmmm, a Prestonian accent or an Australian accent, which is more sexy for the listeners...

Re: FSB Podcast Discussion
A new podcast has been uploaded!
This week's podcast (CLICK HERE TO LISTEN) is a chat about the PES 2010 demo, and a list of things I would like to see tweaked for the final version of FIFA 10.
As always we will read the forums between podcasts and all the best discussions will be given a mention, so if you have anything to say on the subject(s) please let us know. If you agree with us, disagree with us, want to correct us on something, or want to add something that's important, tell us and listen out for a mention next time.
Thanks guys.

Re: FSB Podcast Discussion
Great Podcast Chris... and that article on epltalk.com is awesome. IMO, the attacking AI will be improved with the ability to manipulate Custom Tactics. You can make players come to the ball more, and that can only be a good thing.

Re: FSB Podcast Discussion
I totally agree with you about the response time in pes it really needs to be fixed as for the Fifa i love it but it has problems like pes i hope the problems you mentioned do get fixed.
Player switching pisses me off, i hate it when i win the ball after tackling it switches to someone else even though i could have made it with the tackler.....i hope you understand what I'm on about

Good podcast chris! And what you said about pes 2010 was bang on, just like you i wanted it to be a good game but gameplay let it down
With the fifa 10 demo top 10 thngs you hate the main 1 for me is goalkeeper but as you said this has been fixed
Changing players i dont have any problems with
But any way good podcats!

Peta are going to sue u for that... anyway good podcast...
Well first of all to begin with in my opinion 09 was a bad year for football titles Pes was going in a direction that wasnt quite in tune with my tastes and fifa 09 despite being hailed as pathbreaking had a sort lived enjoyable honeymoon period for me which lasted for a month and a half (coz of a number of issues such as online becoming a waste of time due to exploits and i dont play any game modes i prefer playing exhibition matches with different teams or multiplayer offline with my friends) the main issue really was that apart from not being able to beat a man, scoring goals never felt satisfying there was no variety which brings me to something that was mentioned at gamescom by rutter... he said that this year attackers were going to have certain urgency animations (i dont know if it is the right term) basically slide to meet crosses and take more risks in the penalty box i hvnt seen much of that in the demo which makes me think that they might not have put all of it in the demo... however i agree with most of what u said especially about the constant pressing from the ai... according to me its what led the whole ping pong passing in the first place it was an irritant in 09 as well and i find playing on anything above professional on manual really hard having said that the ai has scored some really nice goals against me on professionals its only the 1on1s that need to be tweaked... I also think that custom tactics are going to have a greater impact this year... i can already feel the difference in the demo even though u cant really change the settings... i find it almost impossible to play as juve or bayern... also not many people have mentioned the fullbacks in fifa 10 esp with chelsea and barca the fullbacks make some really good runs to support the attackers.. quite realistic.. that all for now hope to see some more screens and player faces soon...!
