I only played a couple of games (PC) and this is my impression so far:

1. Graphics are amazing
2. Menu music finally good ("real" bands!)
3. Responsetimes not good. Some 90° turns super slow! Wired but it seems that it depends on the teams i choose (?).
4. No 360° movement. This could be due to my controller, it has an analogue stick but it was pretty cheap so I don't know if it is even possible to move in 360°s.
5. Shooting feels great! Much better than in Fifa imo.

except the slow control it seems really great. I hope it might be due to the PC and it will be much more responsive on my Xbox360!

Can't wait to hear from Adam what he thinks.

This is the most confused i have ever been. I cant even say if it feels better or not. Its wasy too easy on top player. I played 3 matches cpu only had 1 shot on goal while i spent the whole match in their half. Even against italy they didnt drop back. I havent seen anything i hate but the camera is just to far and weirdly tilted. It seems i will ove from normal long to normal medium this year. The menus are a bit to much. stuff all-over the place. Konami took away manual cross. Why? I hate using the right stick for that. keepers look weakish and its actually easier to win matches with individual brilliance that team play. Really strange feeling. Now i wish i still had my xbox so i could try fifa.
Also the game is too fast on my pc. It's not the gameplay but the game itself. cut-scenes are at x2 speed on my pc.

Finally, liscenced music. just not my cup of tea.
They made me change it

If I need to judge PES on the pc version I have to say that we have a winner.
I Liked it a lot. the pace is great the graphics are amazing. I played with XBOX360 joystick with the analog stick and it feels great. like you are in control. I even like the animations- it seems that the add something so you less feeling the robotic running

The negatives: some response issues (not something serious at all but it's there), it's very easy I dont know way. I think the level there is normal even though it says top player. it's just dosent make sense.
The GK is weak.

Well, For the PC version The king is back.
It's official- The king will return on October 8th.

haven't played the PC demo, but it is interesting to read about people saying the game is too easy on Top Player, while Adam said specifically, many times, that the game is rock hard on Top Player.

Will be interesting to see what Adam thinks of the demo and the difficulty.

Also, people giving out about the responsiveness - another Adam previously was not happy with but has said is perfect in the latest build that he has.

Will also be interesting to find out if there is any difference between the PC demo and console demos. I would presume there is not, but i'd still like confirmation at some point.

@Juventino89 - it probably isn't up on PSN yet, the FIFA demo didn't hit last week until around 5pm (GMT)

Xabi Alonso is still at Liverpool in this demo. There are a few GK bugs in the demo. Check the vids on youtube.

Version Played: PC

OK I had to come to work (boo) so only managed to squeeze in two games but here’s my thoughts so far

360 Movement
It is there and unlike FIFA PC which seems 32-way rather than 360 I managed to get some acute running angles. To test it, select 2 player mode so you don’t get hassled and try moving the stick at very slight increments.

When you first receive the ball you player does tend to start in one of the traditional 8 way directions but once you start running you can make small adjustments and you’re player will change his angle….BUT there is a delay which makes doing it quickly to avoid a last ditch tackle almost impossible so Konami need to make the change happen a lot quicker. Also, you ‘jerk’ into your new angle where’s I was expecting/hoping for a circular and smooth change.

Menus
A bit OTT and experimental for my liking but I’m loving the instant loading of the games. I’m waiting to see if it still is so quick when all the teams are in though and would be interested to see how it works on the consoles which have to load their data from a DVD instead of the quicker hard drive a PC uses.

Responsiveness
I don’t want INSTANT response and it would be fake. IRL if you are running you cannot just ass the ball the millisecond you think to, you have to wait until you have landed your foot and gone through the appropriate action/animation before it happens. I thought in 2009 this was about right but here it does seem slightly longer. However, is that only because the overall pace/speed of the game has been slowed down?

Easy or Hard
Played two games, both on “Top Player”. Beat Liverpool 1-0 with Barca on my first go (very dubious penalty though) and lost of France 1-0 with Italy on my second. Was kind of hoping to get battered and even though I was finding it hard than 2009 I can’t put that down to anything more than me not being used to the game.

I did find that the opposition could now put me under more pressure and get the ball off me easily. On 2009 I could keep the ball very easily by moving about and picking easy passes whereas I found on 2010 that if I stalled too long not only did I have players hassling me but that my passing options were virtually zero too which was good.

..so gonna go home at lunch and play a few more games but I’m pretty impressed so far. A definite improvement and more than just an ‘update’ like the last two games have been. I’ll upload some screens too if the site hasn’t been inundated by then!

trax wrote:Installed it, but when I open the settings I get an error saying my pc doesn't meet the minimal specs, but that is very unlikely.

iCore 7
6 GB RAM
GeForce 8800GTX

Latest drivers etc...

Now I can only play on 800x600 what is pretty dull, I can't even set it to high.

Anybody has an idea how I can fix this?

Many thanks in advance!

Seems good I haven't updated my PC then, I reckon there's an issue with the i7 processors. My PC is slow compared to yours (P4 4GHZ overclocked, 2.5Gb Ram and ATi X1950 Pro) and it's running better than 2009!

FIFA Soccer by EA Sports, a game where you can take on an entire team with Titus Bramble providing one is proficient enough with the “trick stick”. How realistic...

i've got a problem saying

"graphic card too "bad""...
i've got a Gainward GTX 260!

I can't start the game, when starting the settings there's an error, but i can change settings after the error.
when i check the compatibility of the PC there are the following points:
graphic card: OK (only OK!)
VRAM: not enough (0 MB !!)

does somebody know what to do?

thanks and greets

Don't wanna cause an argument but shouldn't Traxx and Fightaa's posts be moved to the othe thread (download demo now one) as that would be a better place to discuss problems. This should be for reviews only.
