Rumours suggest that the announcement of GTA V is on the horizon
From PSXextreme:

Anybody with a grain of intelligence knows that Rockstar is hard at work on an all new Grand Theft Auto game for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. And we have no doubt that there's already something up and running, and now an Game Informer's editor, Andrew Reiner, has basically confirmed as much with the following tweet popping up on his Twitter:

"Rockstar was just in the Game Informer office. I can't tell you what they showed me, but it might have been Grand Theft Auto V."

Commence full scale interweb explosion, folks. The not so subtle message basically confirms that Rockstar is getting close to revealing an all new GTA game for us, and we have a feeling that E3 2009 is going to be the place where it all goes down. No word on what Rockstar showed off, because they may very well have just showed GI an untitled trailer, and Reiner assumes what he saw was GTAV, all of that is up in the air. But seeing as how distinct Grand Theft Auto is, it'd be fairly hard to mistake it for anything else when you see it. Here's hoping!

Now the next question on my mind is...are the rumors of a timed PS3 exclusive for GTAV going to come true? Oh, the suspense.

You cant get enough of GTA games , I love them .

GTA 4 may not have been as 'fun' as the past games have been but it was still a great game !

I would love a San Andreas 2 .Imo one of the best games ever .(doubt it will ever happen though)
something new like Tokyo would be a cool location .

I really will be watching this one and won't rush off to buy it like the last one. We all knew this was being made same as saints row 3 which i will have no problem buying but like i said most of you guys know i hated IV so V better be back to the old GTA

I really like GTA:IV. The game was great imo and i liked the realistic approach. Online in GTA:IV is excellent fun. Create a party mode, invite 10 to 20 from your PSN and its pure fun and mayhem.
If GTA:V is revealed soon i will be happy.

love IV but my fave was Vice City had so much fun on that for some reason :S,anyway i also liked san andreas if they did maybe a next gen remake of one of them two i would be a happy man!
maybe add online features? new storylines? im just dreaming i know.

GTA:V would be a must buy for me.

Lol, Saeme for me i loved GTA IV would have liked something like DLC of even more storylines as i completed the game in the first week of purchase also i would love a GTA were you can actually go all around the world although i am deffo dreaming here will never happen

Don't think GTA will ever go that way again. The basis for its humour is slagging american culture.
I want to see GTA: Carson City. It was in the original GTA but has never been in it again

GTA V sholud go back to the wacky days but with the realism like cars, graphics etc but with the crazyness of Vice City and San Andreas that's just IMO.

You might have both nani in V, but its better to stick to one approach, i think thats what upset a lot of GTA fans with IV, they just didn't like the realism approach to everything and the serious side to the game, still with some craziness though, whereas i loved that approach and just loved the city which was the real star of the game.
