Live Season 2.0 Find

Postby Pr0xQuist » Thu Aug 20, 2009 1:45 pm

I was wachting an video of fifa @ gamescon from multiplayer.it.
http://multiplayer.it/video/fifa-10-per-ps3/fifa-10-videoanteprima-gamescom-2009.hi/

Now pause the video @ 00:28 min.

And translate the info from the top.

'Live Season liefert dir die reale wöchentliche Form und bietet dir jetzt mit dem neuen Spielmodus My Live Season auch die Möglichkeit, den Lauf der Gesichten zu änderen!'

Englisch:

'Live Season updates every week the form of the players. And with the new feature My live Season, they can change the faces and i think hairstyles too from the players!'

(Srry for the bad translation, but i hope you guys understood it.)

Tnks for reading,

Pr0x..

It's not "...die Möglichkeit, den Lauf der Gesichten zu änderen!"

It's "...die Möglichkeit, den Lauf der Geschichte zu änderen!"

So it means "...the possibility to change history". Has nothing to do with faces ;)

I think this is just a phrase like "Take your controller and become a legend!" or so. Makes you feel as if you are the greatest player on earth. ;)

Nothing with face updates guys, sorry!

"den Lauf der Geschichte zu ändern" means "changing the course of history"

I'm presuming they need to finalise some licensing details and then they'll be able to reveal it.

I wonder what it means though, it's very cryptic...

I find it weird that 'Adidas' is gone from the title. No more sponsoring?

It looks like that is the case. Shame, I quite liked calling it Adidas Live Season or ALS for short...

it is probably a good thing adidas have gone coz if the plan to implement it anything like the equivalent for nba live 10 (where lebron and other player shoes and accesories get updated through out the season).. it would be a good this as they would be able to update both the exisiting nike and adidas content and having a restrictive license would hamper this..

As i live in Cologne i was at gamescom yesterday and while playing PES 2010 wit an croatian guy from a magazine(play or something was the name) we were talking about both games.

....after a while we came to masterleaugue and i said i didn`t like manager-mode in 09.
Then he said that this year all the weekly statistics will affect the teams and leagues in manager mode!!

Don`t know if its true but he did say that!!

If so i think it will be great!!

Rutter already said something about this, but quite a long time ago. I think this will be Live Season 2.0; where all the teams - apart from yours - in your MM will get the Live Season stats. Or something like that.

Personally, if that would be the case - I would turn it off (or disconnect from Internet, if there's no option), because I see MM as a world on it's own, completely loose from what's happening in the real world. Don't know what the rest thinks of this.

I agree with you Nicolas, I want my Manager Mode game to be its own world.

I wonder if it's something else, the way that it says "change the course of history" just makes me wonder what the hell it could be...

i think it will be a world of its own and its will have its own generated player form not related to the weekly updates of live season...
