I'd like to know if there has ever been a point where they thought 1 game per year was too much - I'd have gladly waited 18 months for PES2009 if it turned out to be anything like PES2010. PES2009 was obviously rushed out and critically panned (well, by me at least) - would that have been avoided with more of a gestation period, or was that panning needed to drag PES2010 back to it's former glory?

Q. How much goalkeepers progressed in 2010, related to animation, AI and everything related to them.

First I thank WENB the opportunity to send a question for the Seabass!

Seabass friend, I wonder how was the process of creating the PES2010, since this is the 1st time we fans have a little direct involvement with Konami and helping to produce the PES?

The online mode can be changed because there's more bug?

1) A majority of the community feel PES was at it's best some 4 years ago, when PES 5 was released. Unfortunately, most are in agreement that the series hasn't matched that level of quality. Are you aware of this, and why do you think this has happened?

2) Why did you change the philosophy of PES when you brought the series to nextgen?

Just a couple of Questions, hope they make the cut:
(1) Will Shooting ever go back to the power up bar to measure the shot?
(2) How is the online being fixed for this year & years to come, is it on a new or more reliable servers?
(3) Manual Passing can we have it with buttons controls instead of right stick?
(4) In Master League are the games time appropriate, like have the cup & champions league matches at Night?? not during the day more realistic or is there a way we can choose before the match what time & weather we want to play at
(5) Gameplay, is it being more of a simulation or arcade style what direction is he going for?

just some dumb questions to ask cuz th emain ones I have I imagine will be answered at gamescon via other interviews & gameplay footage

- Shingo-san, ML this year seems very much improved and very interesting. Will managers be able to move to other clubs in ML?

- Will we see ML Online in PES 2011?

Thank you Gari, WENB, and Seabass ;)

- Can you tell us about licensing? Why does Konami doesn't go for teams all around the world like those in Brazil, Argentina and Mexico?

1) What is the reason KONAMI refuse to incorporate the LAN mode into the game?
2) Is KONAMI going to expand their market so that players from other countries, for example from Eastern Europe, could easily purchase a licenced version of the game?

Q1. Now that pes has returned to its simulation routes will you keep going further in this direction or move back to the more arcady gameplay of pes 2008 and 2009 that seems to be popular in Japan?

Q2. Before next-gen pes and online seemed a perfect match, why has it been so slow to develop?

As the EA liscences deal is up after this year, will konami and pes be bidding to have rights of the premier league and maybey the football league for pes 2011? :D

What will happen if the online does not work like you say it will, is ther any chance of back up plans?

As you have players involved with pes like c ronaldo and torres, will these player have been motioned captured like messi already has so ther animations will match to what u see in real life cause as u see these players have some of the most unique styles in the world?

1) Where do you see the Pro Evolution Soccer series going as a franchise and as a game itself (gameplay and online) in the next three to five years?
2) I've heard that PES 2010 has been a year and a bit in the making. How far into the future do you plan specific editions of Pro Evolution Soccer and what features they contain?

I'm thinking this as a good pair, if he doesn't know how to answer the first one, or cannot comment, then the second would be a good determinate to understand the future planning into the pes series.

I know its not strictly about PES 2010, but since the oppertunity is open it'd be good to ascertain certain elements of the PES series that I've always wondered.

Thanks for this thread!!

QUESTIONS TO SEABASS ==>
1) if you are a taster wich rate from 20 you give honestly to PES 2009 and PES2010 ? ( to see if he's aware that PES 2009 was rubbish )
2) did you feel confidence this year to competee with FIFA overall quality in next-gen ? ( to see if he's aware that FIFA on next-gen kicked PES away  )
THANKS to Gari & WENB !

After 3 years of absence, the betrayed King (PES) finds the way to his old crown ! Suddenly, a powerful Man (FIFA) pops-up ! " It's a long time not seen...old friend " said the king...ready for the EPIC fight !

To be Continued...

- Since PES is originally a Japanese game, Winning Eleven, Is it possible that we may have the J-League incorporated in PES?

- Also, Any chance of expanding the database and adding Asian/African/N.American/S.American club teams/leagues/cups/CL?

Thanks again.

Guys, some of you are asking gameplay questions that can be answered by people who will be playing the game at gamescom.

But overall, some excellent stuff from you all!

What was the reason that you changed the shape of the nets?
Will you be going back to the square nets anytime soon?
If not,why?

Creed: It's okay, i got plenty.
