We need this show back, this place is boring as Sunday mass lately.

Whos next for the Nani interviews... ;)???
I promise I wont be condescending in my posts.... I mean well guys :) Roll on PES 2011 and FIFA 11 :)
PES 2010 is my game of choice at the moment. FIFA 10 has been traded in and WC 2010 the AI simply isnt good enough.

TONIGHT'S GUEST G7SEV

nani17: Hello mate welcome to a long overdue interview sorry for the delay mate.

How are you?
G7SEV: Im not too bad bud, hope your well yourself. Let me know when you need me on set for the interview.

nani17: This is the interview lol(drunk hippie)
The usual name age location.
G7SEV: Sir Alfred Wilshire Montegue............. Ok no its Gavin Kelly, 22 from Dublin Ireland!!

nani17: Well now Gavin are your happy to be here, are you a bit nervous?
G7SEV: I am very excited to be here on the Nani show. I am a bit nervous as there have been some excellent interviews before me. I hope mine stands shoulder to shoulder with the other ones. I must say though, this is a fantastic set. The couch is so comfy.... is it real Geurilla?

nani17: No it's crocodile skin the set was out together by Ocelot MAC and the design was done by Sean he used photoshop took them 6 months it was supposed to be two days but i don't have a clue what they where up to . Which of all the interviews so far did you enjoy do you have a favourite?
G7SEV: *ponders favourite interview*................ *sip's water*................... *ponders more*................. What was the question again??

Oh right, fave interview so far. I liked them all to be honest. All were funny and showed great insight into the WENB guys that were on this famous couch. Have you had a favourite interview Mr. Nani? *crowd goes "oooooh good question"*

nani17: *sweating under the pressure the wrong answer could end it all*.........I love them all *crowd goes wild*

So what do you do for a living collage, work?
G7SEV: Im in college doing an Animation degree. Its a great course and i love every second of it. I am pretty good at anything art orientated, i always have been. I wanted to take that to a further level and animation came calling. Regarding work, the recession has left me jobless but i work with my brother in law 3 to 5 days a week to earn money. He is an electrician for Dublin City so i assist on all kinds of jobs. If you ever need any wiring done or fitted, im your man.

nani17: Sorry mate my brothers a sparky already but thanks of the offer.

Has art always been something you where into as a child or in the later years?
G7SEV: From the moment i picked up a pencil it has been in me. People asked if i had taken classes or had i inherited it from my mam or dad but that's not how it happened. As a child and still to this day i have an extraordinary imagination and thinking process. I always wanted to transfer that onto paper so as a child i would draw. Those skills have developed over the years and now i have a pretty vast knowledge of art, art history and now animation.

An interesting story art wise for you. One summer (i was about 15) i stripped the wallpaper from my bedroom and it left 4 white plastered walls. I got the urge to draw on them so i took up a hand full of 2B, 4B and 6B pencils and began drawing. After 3 days i had every wall covered with different drawings. It was class. My brother wasn't overly impressed. A month later though the room was wallpapered.

nani17:lol all your hard work plastered over bastards. You must sometime post a few of your drawings for us, I'm sure all will love to see them.

As a non student of art could you tell me what attracted you most to animation and not other styles?
G7SEV: I will see what i can post. I tend to be protective of my work so i don't tend to show it off much, i will see what i can do for you, sure i might just do something special for Mr. Nani for having me on the show.

Well the other styles just didn't suit me. I found them to be very good and i enjoyed doing them but you could only go so far. With animation my imagination knows no end and there are no restrictions. I love working with the software on PC's and laptops and i love the whole development an preparation that goes into animation. Sure with animation you have many different ways of working with it or what style you want to use or go for....... im probably boring your audience here, i will stop now!

nani17: Your not boring me one bit mate, has someone criticised your style of art heavily making you protective of it from us or is that something you prefer?
G7SEV: Nobody made bad comments or has criticised my work i just work better and feel better having that to myself at times. Plus most artist's tend to never have high praise of there own work as they always see room for improvement or things that could have been done better.
Im also like that. I have read many books on art/art history and the history of animation and a lot... maybe 85% of artists tend not to be very happy or impressed with their work. Even if it is a masterpiece. It's just how the creative mind works.

Also in animation there is A LOT of plagiarism and idea's being stolen on you so i tend not to air my creative idea's.
Man i can talk a lot of non scene *audience laughs and applaud lightly*

nani17: No mate your answers are top quality it's what i like about doing the interviews.

If you where ask to do art for top shows such as Family Guy or The Simpson would you except it and what show would you love to do?
G7SEV: In a heartbeat i would accept a job offer from either of them in a heartbeat! Both hilarious shows. The animation isn't the highest end but it works for so many reasons other than just the animation.
What show would i love to do? I would love to create my own but if that never happened i would work for any of the big time shows. Game designing also interests me. That's the thing with animation, your finger is in many a pie *audience laugh at dirty innuendo* "It wasn't dirty" *i sit back embarrassed but laughing*

nani17: lol you love the audience don't you?
G7SEV: It's mutual lol

nani17: Yeah i bet it is lol family time

How many brothers and sisters do you have?
G7SEV: I have one brother and two sisters. I am the second youngest.

nani17: Are any of them as creative as you?
G7SEV: Nope. I would be the creative one out of my whole family. Don't get me wrong they are not dull. They just are not creative in the ways that i am.

nani17: Massive ego you got there mate lol only joking mate.

Do you mind me asking what they do?
G7SEV: Haha i am just telling it how it is lol no ego here.
My youngest sister is in college doing sports science. My older sister is a pharmacist technician and a mother. My older brother sadly died 3 years ago :(

nani17: Sorry to hear about your brother mate.

How did it happen? if you want we can move on
G7SEV: I would rather not go into it. The pain is as raw as when it happened. Too hard to explain the feelings. Next question Mr Nani..

nani17:Of course mate

What do you do on the weekend's for fun?
G7SEV: Weekend time is are a mixture of anything really. I don't have set things but a regular weekend for me would start on the Friday, finish college and go for a few brews with the lad's then my girlfriend would meet up with me. Saturday is football with the lad's (Premiership, La Liga etc) then myself and my girlfriend go for a meal or do something, maybe a club or cinema. Sunday is a chillax day. Sunday dinner, family around.

nani17: Nice schedule you got there mate pretty active.... you DRUNK I'm sorry that's my turrets acting up *a few leave the crowd*

So how long have you been together with your girl?
G7SEV: We have been together just over two and a half year's. We know each other just over three years.

nani17: So is it love?
G7SEV: Without getting lovey dovey yea it's love. Well and truly. It's a wonderful thing............... *sniff* i'll stop now

nani17: Sniff I'm starting to cry now ...man up now man up.

Are you going on holidays this year ?
G7SEV: I am going away hopefully in the next two weeks with the girlfriend. It hasn't been booked so it's going to be a last minute deal somewhere sunny for a week. I've already been to Budapest on my future brother in-laws stag. Also going down the country for a week in September.
Reading back over that sounds like im making it up lol im not though.

nani17: You stay away for my side of town you hear.

Do you drive?
G7SEV: Yea i fortunately do. I drive a 04 Fiat Punto. I used to have a VW Golf but i sold it, got a nice cheap immaculate Punto instead. I loved the VW but i just hadn't got the money tp be driving it. It loves a good drink.

nani17: Just like you hippie lol

Where's the furtherest you brought the punti?
G7SEV: Galway and Belfast. I like long drives. Plus i love seeing as much of Ireland as i can.

nani17: That's some long drives lol

Is there any particular country you'd like to visit?
G7SEV: I would like to visit Japan and Australia. I have been to the states (i want to go back many many more time) i actually want to live there for awhile. But Australia and Japan would be my next port of call as the experience would be great. I have been to many parts in Europe and there is plenty more to see. I'm young so I have plenty of time to get it all in before I settle down..... I hope!

nani17:Your actually thinking in the future you'd like to settle down this isn't the drunk hippie i know besides you'll probably join a gang in Japan or start an underground shark fighting contest in Australia.
G7SEV: Are you an explorer on holidays or just party mad?

The shark fighting contest does sound like my kind of thing!..... hmmmmmm lol

To be honest i am both when i am on holidays. On a sun holiday i will tend to get up at 8 or 9 drag myself to the pool with the girlfriend and let the sun burn my pasty skin till about 11 or 12 then we go get something to eat, explore the town if there is one then get ready and go clubbing till 4 or 5am!! Madness.

I have thought of settling down but that wont happen for another 7 to 8 years so i have lots of time left yet. I will be nearly 30 at that stage. *looks depressed*

nani17: lol Old man gav you'll be im a home soon mate, onto PES stuff

How do you feel about the way konami are handling things this year?
G7SEV: I feel that Konami have gone about things totally different this year. I did the PES2008/2009 run and Konami were not very forthcoming with things.

I think that had to do with the fact the 2008/09 PES games were poor. SO this year they seem confident and are really involving themselves with the community through their PR teams. I think it's great that it has been handled the way it has because i don't think i could have put up with another mediocre laughable PES run this year.

nani17: Which version are you buying?
G7SEV: Ps3 version all the way. Reasons for that is i have always played it on the Playstation and i dont have a 360.. lol but i dont or will ever want one.

nani17: What's your favourite thing about pes?
G7SEV: Well it's always been the unique feeling i have when playing it.
Other things would be the individuality of the players, the little touches of genius in the game. The last two dont have this so i want refer to them. I love having PES tournaments with mates because the banter and the competitiveness is unreal. Having that sweaty palms game against your mate who is excellent at it is classic.

nani17: Have you ever done a master league with a mate?
G7SEV: Never. Me and my friends have done separate ones on the Ps2 PES games and then we would challenge each other to a match with our master league teams. Sometimes we had a few players who are the same but their stats were different. It always made for great games that were fun.... and competitive. The bragging rights were glorious to have and painful to be on the end of.

nani17: I've been at the end of a few sniff it hurts but not that many lol

What's the first thing your going to do when you get pes 2010, start a master league test the online or just an exhibition?
G7SEV: An exhibition match. Either Ireland v England or Man Utd v Arsenal or Liverpool. I hope its going to be epic i really do. After a few exhibition matches i will go into edit mode and the hours will fly by. If the game is the dogs bollocks i will be playing and testing every aspect till the game breaks!

nani17: lol my first match is either Ireland vs England or Man Utd vs Chelsea

If you could be on the konami development team what area would you like to work on?
G7SEV: Oooohn top top question. I think i would have to choose the animation department. It interests me quite a bit. It would be different in many many ways to what i am used to and it would be fun to try it and do it. My other choice would be the art/design department. It would be cool to help PES look fantastic and give ideas as to how it should look etc.

nani17: What would you add to the game Gav?
G7SEV: In the art/design department i would try further develop a perfect representation of football in PES. The likes of kits, boots, grass, lighting etc. Really try nail it. Especially in wide cam. With animations i would strive to keep them fresh and unique. So that way the game always feels new and not dated.

nani17: Interesting Mr.Gav i believe you'd do a fine job because if you didn't I'll make sure people blame you lol.

What other games are you a fan of?
G7SEV: I would be living in a big house that's on a big hill that's surrounded by 80ft walls and has dogs that bark bullets so you wouldn't be able to send your people after me!! Ha
I play all types of games Nani. From first FPS's to RPG's. If something interests me i will buy it and try it out. I would predominantly dedicate all my time to PES and COD though. PES2010 & MW2 will be games i play to death. I really cant wait for them.

nani17: I'm going to kickass at MW2 i hope it's as good as the first one

What's the worst game you've played?
G7SEV: Oh God i have played many many bad games. Kane&Lynch, Army of two, Assassins Creed (i dont care what people say that game was rubbish in my opinion). Call of Duty: World at War, Actual Soccer quite a few to be honest. There are loads i hated.

nani17: Yeah i didn't like Assassins Creed either hope two is better i enjoyed Army of two because i only played it with my mate, as for Kane & Lynch completely brutal yet magazines adored it maybe the batman scandal is true.

Is there any game you've played and thought that should be a movie?
G7SEV: Metal Gear Solid would be a stand out one but some studio would most likely butcher it and have terrible actors in it. Emmm...... off the top of my head i cant think of anything else with a solid story for the silver screen *rummages through games* Killzone??
What about you, any game you would like to see recreated for the cinema?

nani17: I ask the questions here buddy :X .....it would be MGS only if it was done by Spielberg.

What's the worst game movie you seen?
G7SEV: Hmmm Doom i would say along with Max Payne. Such bad bad movie's. I don't think i allowed myself to watch any other game movies as they have generally been appauling stuff.

nani17: Seen doom rubbish moive didn't seen Max Payne don't intend on watching it either.

Do you go to the cinema a lot gav?
G7SEV : I wouldn't say a lot. Probably 2 to 3 times a month........ actually that's probably a lot! lol It depends on what is out.
I see the majority of action films with the lad's. Sometimes with my girlfriend if she's interested.
I do see most of the chick flicks as my girlfriend loves them. It doesn't bother me though as i enjoy some of them. Plus there is certain nostalgia when I go to the cinema with my girlfriend as we had a handful of movie dates when we were first seeing each other before we were serious.

Sniff that's lovely lol

Onto quick questions.

nani17: What's your favourite colour?
G7SEV: Favourite colour is Red.

nani17: Worst county you visited?
G7SEV: Worst county i have ever had the misfortune of being in is Limerick.

nani17: Best county you visited?
G7SEV: Best county other than Dublin has to be Cork or Galway.

nani17: Favourite food?
G7SEV: Favourite food? I love it all to be honest but i really love Italian food. Yum yum

nani17: Best restaurant you ate at?
G7SEV: Best restaurant i ever ate in would be Cruzzo's in Dublin. It's on the Marina in Dublin. Classy place that has a great memory in.

nani17: Worst childhood experience?
G7SEV: Worst childhood experience would have to be being bullied for having glasses. I had them for 5 years (age 7 to 12)

nani17: Who's worst teacher you ever had?
G7SEV: Worst teacher would have to be my French teacher from secondary school, Mrs. Darby. She kicked me out of her class for an entire year because i would just draw pictures in my copybooks all through her classes so she chose not to teach me!! Bitch. I got a C in French for my Junior Cert that year anyway!

nani17: Favourite Pes and why?
G7SEV: Has to be PES on the Ps2. It wasn't a technically great game but the competitiveness between me and my mates having tournaments was EPIC. I pick PES for the memories and warm feelings it gives me.

nani17: Halle berry, Jessica Simpson or Angelina Jolie?
G7SEV: Jessica Simpson, she is SMOKING HOTT! Grrrrrrrrrrrr

nani17: Which famous person would you not want to be stuck in an elevator with for 6 hours?
G7SEV: Sacha Baron Cohen, he does my nut in!! I would have to strangle him with my shoelaces.

nani17: Least favourite music?
G7SEV: Rave music or trance, whatever you call it. the music that goes "Thump thump" for fourty minutes without a breakdown or vocals. Hate it with a passion.

nani17: Do you put your socks on before your pants?
G7SEV: hats kind of a pervy question lol...... boxers go on before socks! lol

nani17: What's your most favourite thing about WENB?
G7SEV: My favourite thing about WENB is the great community. We are tightly knit and all love the site/PES. The atmosphere is always great and the lad's who do be in the General Discussion are sound lad's. I have had many a late shift FM'ing, WENB'ing and chatting with them. lus being a moderator and being allowed to help the site is an added bonus that i very much appreciate.

nani17: What's your least favourite thing about WENB?
G7SEV: Least favourite thing about WENB has to be the members who just start s**t. They know who they are............ sure they wont see this because there most likely banned lol *laughs hard*

nani17: Well i believe that's about it thanks so much for being patient i know this was long.

Any shout outs to anyone?
