Great news, its been a long time coming. But i'm kinda getting the feeling that this year we may not totally see a ML 'revamp'. I'm guessing they may just have changed the currency and implemented the Champions and Europa League into the mode.
The King has not returned yet but we are indeed witnessing signs and wonders of his coming glory.

I think they have done more then that, and the ML info from the first and latest press release, it seems it will have a fantastic transfer system which is good.

i actually liked how it was unrealistic in a way. its like the money side of football nowadays is taking over so to have a sort of alternate league where you got points to buy players by winning games and trophies was nice.

Now with Real currency, i hope they don't make all teams with the same amount of budget money.
Real M should have maybe 120 millions and Man U 100 or 110 and so on with the other teams.

Interesting. But would you reckon that would hinder people playing as Hull, Lille etc??

Maybe. But there are people looking for a challenge, like me. It's always fun to start with a lower team and the get money through sponsor and many other things, and then spend them on something.

True it would be a challenge. Lets see how Konami handle the currency side of ML

I hope they don't mess this up like they do with some players stats.
And like in Football Manager 2004, you could buy cars, houses and other with salary you got. Same goes BAL.

Yea, they defo need to sort out the transfer system cos the current one is so fustrating. I dunno, i just can't see a big change in ML this year. I think the main focus is getting the game to play right this year, maybe we''ll see bigger change in ML in 2011. Ofcourse we're still waiting on info but i'll still enjoy the ML regardless anyway i guess, i still play PES2009 ML at the moment and able to get some sort of fun out from it.

Do you think they'll include extra ways of making money, i.e. sponsorships, season ticket sales etc? They way I understand it is that the currency will now be real, but I doubt there will be extra manager features like these added this year? Although it would definitely make for a great and more realistic game if you had to manage these issues as well.
I remember the old Player Manager by ANCO on the Amiga where you had to deal with things like the players' health - suddenly your star striker could be killed in a car accident etc. That was definitely different!

2008/2009 CL
Celtic-Aalborg 0-0, Aalborg-Villarreal 2-2, Aalborg-Celtic 2-1, Man United-Aalborg 2-2
Aaaah - those were the days :-)

Re: Real currency in Pes 2010 Master League
I'm just hoping the mode looks like its had time and effort spent on it. I feel me and most fans simply get annoyed at the neglect of one of the best features in the game, year after year. If they include features like moving between clubs, updated transfer system with proper currency and interrogated the euro modes then thats good but I still feel that won't be enough for a years worth of development. Master league will never be the reason I do or don't play PES but its a major fact for me and just hope its going forward instead of standing still

Dealing with extra stuff is cool but there is no need to kill a player man!

Re: Real currency in Pes 2010 Master League
I think we need to be careful about what we wish for. I may be alone here but I can’t stand Football Manager and would hate the ML to because a playable version of it because when I play Pro Evo I want to PLAY, not spend hours doing administration.
Let me clarify, when I say I “hate” FM, I mean I like the idea of it, I like doing transfers, offering salaries etc; I can even put up with having to experiment with various formations and tactics but where I get frustrated (or should I say bored) is with the millions of other “little things” you need to do like training, press interviews that can affect your game, sponsorship deals and so on….I just find it all a chore and I know some FM fans are even asking for a more automated version where the boring stuff is done for you.
I’m all for realism but let’s not forget it’s game. If I was offered the choice between the current ML and an ultra-realistic one where you have to consider sponsorship deals, ground staff wages etc and where you spend more time doing admin than you do playing, I would prefer the original.

FIFA Soccer by EA Sports, a game where you can take on an entire team with Titus Bramble providing one is proficient enough with the “trick stick”. How realistic...
