PES 2013 Master League Online

Discussion about the online side of the game, from updates and DLC to organising games and competitions.

I agree with rach about salary and form. It's destroyed mlo with the current system. The current set up allows the cheats to exploit the game. Too many cheats drive up the price of the top players before it's even released here in the uk.
Make release fair for everyone because of mlo.
Bring in a system where you gain fans per win and complete games. The money you earn then becomes related to fanbase. This would help in the fight to stop cheaters quitting.
The form has to change. This years system is gamebreaking! All players are in a cycle. I know every 2 weeks I have to dismantle my team just to have a game. Form should be stat and confidence based i.e you gain or lose confidence based on results which then can translated to form.
No more scripting to show off the top players i.e strangling defenders abilitiy and responsiveness just so ronaldo can receive the ball. This happens a lot.

Just these few changes would transform and bring players back online.

What i'd like to see, and this is just an idea(some people may think it's daft), But i do prefer the transfer market and card system on FIFA UT.

So with that in mind, I remember a game years ago(virtua striker on gamecube i think) Where after a match you'd get ponts, then after a few games you'd get enough points to put some in a toy/statue dispenser thing and out would pop a statue of a player and the player would join your team.

So say you choose a league, then a position then you get the option of how much you want to put in, 5 million for an average player, 10 for an above average, 15 for a very good player and 20 million for a star player. The player would be totally random from any of the clubs in that league. And with this a cap on how many of what category player you can buy.i.e. 5th division 3 above average players and one very good player only.ect..ect.

And also a real user transfer market would be good aswell.

1. Please remove the team style Konami if people want a speed team then buy speed players simple as.

2. Love the salary cap idea and that in div1 the cap should be whatever the amount that is needed to have a very good team but not all the best players. So that if you are really strong in one area of your team your other areas less so.This would keep it fresh and you would come up against a bigger variety of teams.

3.My own addition to this thread would be could they please implement 15 minute competitions and instead of your best 3 results in a row just play 3 games and the top 16 go up. As in my opinion this would help against the keep it at the back for the entire match idiots.

i agree a lot with the ideas ppl have said.please forgive me if some of these ideas are already in pes as im outta touch with the game.

i think the mlo is the best feature of pes, however one thing that always annoyed me was that everyone had the utter crud on the bench a few defaults and then the likes of messi upfront etc.
wouldnt happen, shouldnt happen.
i think players should be put in a division category shop so say messi could be div 1 and 2, where say phil neville would be div 1,2, and 3.
i also think that star players price should be massively increased.
it would be nice to see balanced teams rather than all or nothing teams as mentioned above.

I agree with this in some way, Players should be league specific or class specific.

there should be 4 classes of players.
average(rating 70-75) £5-10 million
good(75-80) £10-15 million
very good(80-85) £15-20 million
superstar(85+) £20+ million

And you should start in div 5 with default squad, but in all leagues you should be limited to how many of what class players you can have.
Div 5 4 average, 1 very good.
Div 4 3 average, 2 very good.
Div 3 2 average, 3 very good.
Div 2 1 superstar, 4 very good.
Div 1, 3 supertsars, 5 very good.

And the same works if you get relegated, you have to stick to the league lay out, so from going from div 1 - 2 you'd have to sell 2 superstar players and a very good player, But getting promoted you dont have to bring in the higher level players.

@scottcb
yes i agree.
how about a ovr bank?
a bit like ur credits u can have an average overall cap for ur teams.
also if u win a cup u cud get a player(s) on a free transfer,or cap extension,or ya know cool little incentives for winning.
they shud make relegation a big deal like real life lol.
on ps3 excuse typing lol.

i think ppl should lose players if they get relegated,so its a gamble whether to buy them in the first place, same principle as i said before.
eg,so messi would play in div 1 but would only stay in top half of div 2,any lower than that and he leaves you and you lose money.
it would force more balanced teams and again make relegation a big deal rather than meh who cares.

teams with excessive money and in the top leagues should get stadium perks and better grounds,ya know make the divisions really see a different weight and level of class.
the higher the div the more gloss.

So far for PES2013 we've heard about a salary cap being in this years MLO this will stop people having a team of superstars in a lower division.
Also if you find that you are relegated you'll have to make some sacrifices and sell you best players because you simply cannot afford to keep them (is'nt that just like real life??)

This is good news for MLO (Rach is pleased with that one), we'll hear more news regarding this online game mode soon.

In my opinion MLO is the best online game mode of any football game hands down - and if Konami nail MLO this year guys will come flooding back to play it.

MLO needs to be about the ultimate challenge, longevity and and fun all rolled into one.

Nice post mate 8-) , MLO could be excellent this year, especially with player id added to the mix, I'm just hoping konami can put a system in place that can snuff out the
lag/disconnect cheats, though i fear they will never be able to eradicate this problem
completely :(

yes and no.
players just go in the cups 4 free money before.

i think youth players should have more of an impact where game time levels them up and they get a boost stat/wage increase over time, say, every fortnight real time.
but if they dont get a run out then stats and consistency go down.
also cup whores limited to 1 or 2 a day, maybe.

I know what you mean - but think back to PES2011 guys where playing everything matches, cup matches and coach mode because MLO was so additive it was fun and has will.i.am would say "it was dope".
The key thing for MLO is how the competition is structured, if it is structured right then it will be a winner.

News will come soon

Just thought I'd bump this....

Where exactly is the confirmation of a salary cap system in MLO 13? I can't find it anywhere.

I like the regen idea as well as the proper league tables idea.

Would love to see those implemented.

Cheers pal.

I hope certain divisions have certain salary caps, but I doubt that will be the case. Sounds to me as if there will just be a limit on how much "money" you can spend on one squad. ie, buying both Ronaldo and Messi for your side will take a HUGE chunk out of your budget and mean you may not be able to strengthen elsewhere as you'd like.

That's just what I think it will be though. Either way, I'm happy they're at least doing something about superstar squads.

UNLESS

your talking about the future and the next game,

Postby Topstriker2013 » Wed Sep 12, 2012 12:44 pm

Hi guys and girls

Long time reader, first time poster.

I found this video on Proevo.de, It explains master league online in more details, but it is German..

Can anyone translate and relay anything new to us. Then perhaps we can discuss it here.
