Not sure what the embargo is with FIFA 13 impressions, but there's a chance you'll hear my FIFA 13 thoughts before my PES 2013 one.

just listened to the new video interview with aron mchardy...one thing he mentions which i adore is the tiny subtle things they concentrated on aswell as main gameplay enhancements,gameplayisfundemental what i used to love pes doing...

fifa learnt alot from old PES and they are paying lots of attention to the little details that we all love to see in a football game.
For me the most important thing is AI.This year they have been working on it,that will make fifa my 1st choice due to advanced tech +AI= good game of football

The FIFA 13 news sounds brilliant. Especially complete dribbling and first touch control. First touch control will be as revolutionary as tactical defending was to FIFA 12 imo.

I'm glad they're improving the physics engine, it's good to see that after spending all of those years on it they don't feel the need to tear it down and do something else, just keep on improving it year after year, that's the way to go.

Great to hear they're actually working on AI this year but I refuse to get my hopes up for that.. I'll just see what happens.

Can't wait to see some actual gameplay footage and hear about the improvements to Career Mode aswell as the online modes (mainly Pro Clubs).

When is E3 anyway?

Yes, it's good they are concentrating on AI, but that all depends still on what their vision of AI should be in a football game. If they are just concentrating again on the individual rather than the collective team AI, then it still might not be enough. There has to be some kind of attacking/defensive balance there regarding which way teams play. It'll make it or break it for me. I said it before 12 came out that 13's AI had to be something unique for it to keep my attention. We'll see.

it's interesting to see ea exploring their animation tech and realize it to how a footballer model does it in game.. however they are still not good in goal celebration. in 2012, it tkes away my joy of scoring..the opposite function. LOL
