Here's the home kit again, minus the v-neck piece :)

Anyone happened across a good photo of the Brugge GK shirt yet ? Was a really odd top to it, around the shoulders etc...

Thanks Jaymez!!!

I also found the Club Brugge PNG's with the old Dexia logo on another site (link below). If you could replace dexia by Belfius on the GK kit, than we have all three kits.

I've left you waiting long enough in the past, Addie, so you will have that GK this weekend :)

And i found the shirt in the club shop ( lower image )

So have recoloured it to suit that better

Image

Have a play around with that, see if you can find a PES colour match DA77EN ( i won't be about tonight , sorry! )
If the colour won't match quite right, try that pressing Square option when importing the PNG, to see if you can jimmy the colours around slightly, to get a better match.

But i looked at the video tonight and the GK kit seems even darker on the video ! Maybe the lighting might have something to do with it ?

Hope this works out better Thing is, as you may already know, with PES, is that the game's RGB colour range is very limited. So i could go to Photoshop and "colour-drop" the shirt colour and use it, so it is as accurate as possible. Then import the PNG into PES, but have absolutely no chance of matching that real life colour, with PES' limited palette ! Hopefully, suggestions have been passed on to certain people in the know, to correct this problem for future PES releases. :ugeek:

Thanks a million Fellow Kent boy

I used the colours from the above pic that you linked :) Seems that the club shop GK kit photo has been taken when the room has some strange orange/yellow light in it, hence my miscolouring

Here's the revised GK shirt. Stripes are blank, so you can simply use a plain black behind the PNG.

Hey DA77EN

I revised my Chelsea '12-'13 home kit and it's much nicer now. :D
Follow the same formula as you had before, further back on this thread, but replace the main blue with

R 0 - G 6 - B 21

It's a lot closer now and not so vivid, like my 1st attempt.
For those lines on the front of the shorts, use R 0 - G 4 - B 19

Here's the new PNG:

After a couple of games, i decided to crop the very top into an arch so that the angled stripes blend a little better.

I really wish we had more time to edit our posts, so i don't have to keep filling the thread up with tiny adjustments !

Guys, looking for a little help here.
Club Emblems, I have edited up my own custom Mastyer League team with kits etc, but have never been 100% happy with the Emblem, it looks a bit pixelated and bloicky in game.

I always load the emblem graphic in as a 128px PNG file. and when loading in, it fills the preview window (with the cross hair where you can use RS to resize etc) but in game, on loading screens etc it looks poor quality.

Whereas all the club emblems that are in the WENB Base Option File that I use look full size, and crisp and smooth.

ANy advice on how to acheive a smooth looking emblem? optimal file size? resolution? format etc.

Help is much appreciated.

And James - your kits look fantastic mate!

Can you upload the emblem for me to look at, xxPJRx ?

This site is a quick, free and easy image upload site you can use: http://www.hostpic.org/

You already stated that you make it 128 pixels by 128 pixels, so there shouldn't be a problem there. If i can take a look at it in Photoshop, I can maybe find out why it is doing what it is doing. Maybe your resolutions are out perhaps, but it's difficult for me to say for sure, until i can have it in front of me, sorry! I'll get back t'you about it as soon as, today sometime :)

Jaymez - really appreciate that mate. Im pretty good with gfx and all that editing in PES SHizz, just cant figure this one out.
Maybe its the dpi resolution of the image being too low?

Am at work now but will upload and send you the link later tonighty.

cheers bud.

Ah ok, then there is probably nothing i can do that you haven't already tried for yourself in the first place :) But, I will still look at it for you if you'd like, can't do any harm i guess :)
For your reference, just in case something is different, here's the usual WENB image properties, for club emblems...

For an emblem that will fill the import box, when loaded into the game...

Transparent background PNG file.
Width: 128 pixels
Height: 128 pixels ( thought these may change, depending on the shape of the badge of course, but the starting canvas size is this.

(In Photoshop) Document size:
Width: 21.67 mm
Height: 21.67 mm
Resolution: 150.012 pixels per INCH

Scale styles: yes
Constrain Proportions: yes
Resample Image: yes

Bicubic (best for smooth gradients)

You may already know all that anyway, but i thought i'd post it up, just in case it was of any help :)

Top Man, thats the kinda thing I was after.
I will check later, and still send the file over to you. There must be a reason the WENB emblem files look smooth and mine dont. Only thing i can see at first glance is that im pretty sure my PNG files are 72dpi, so maybe as theyre half the resolution of the WENB ones, when they scale up/down they lose their quality.

Thanks again mate.

I'm thinking that the dpi issue will be the very reason why it's looking a bit blocky. I think that if you remake it, with all those parameters above, then it will look just as you need it to :)

The whole PES editor, on console, is a giant mess of incompatible colours (garghhh, the fucking colour choices! :x ) and resolutions and things. PES console kit PNGs need to be at 72 dpi and emblems at the 150 dpi mark. Why this is so, i have no idea, but it doesn't help. Especially when importing images, the game lists some completely incompatible file and image sizes. A real mess, sadly.

Jaymez, Managed to sort my Emblem out mate, you was right, it was the DPi settings.
I upscaled the image in Photoshop to 150dpi and used bicubic smoothing resampling, saved it back out as a PNG and loaded in to PES, now looks crisp and clear, no jaggies or pixelation.

Thanks for your help mate, appreciated.

These seem ok for now. Difficult to get the right blue. It looks a little "on the nose" when posted on this forum. BUT, although you can't see it on the PNG posted here, when imported, i got the nice 45degree angled striped/shine effect on the home shirt. Looks really good when you rotate the shirt in the editor  IMPORTANT NOTE - For the home shirt, you'll need to calibrate the PNG in the in-game editor. If you didn't already know, you do that by pressing square once you import the PNG. ( see below )

Image Image

Home Formula ( for now ):

Import PNG
Press SQUARE
Adjust these settings:

Red Calibration: -0.30
Green 0.00
Blue 0.00
Contrast -0.03

Press CIRCLE to come out from there. Press X to confirm PNG and save it.

Shirt:

Base 2 : RGB 0,6,31
Design1 : 14 - RGB 16,14,6
Design2 : 12 - RGB 16,14,6
Design3 : 10 - RGB 16,14,6
Design4 : 20 - RGB 0,6,31

Shorts:

Base : RGB 0,6,31
Design1 : 22 - RGB 0,2,26
Design2 : 1 - RGB 16,14,6
Design3 : 3 - RGB 16,14,6

Socks:

Base : RGB 31,31,31
Design1 : 9 - RGB 0,6,31
Design2 : 2 - 16,14,6
(Note: Not possible to recreate socks correctly in PES2012. Not enough layers ! )

Goalkeeper formula ( for now ):
No need to calibrate GK PNG.

Shirt:

Base 2 : RGB 0,14,12
Design1 : 14 - RGB 16,14,6
Design2 : 12 - RGB 16,14,6
Design3 : 20 - RGB 0,14,12
Design4 : 5 - RGB 0,12,10

Shorts:

Base : RGB 0,14,12
Design1 : 1 - RGB 16,14,6
Design2 : 3 - RGB 16,14,6
Design3 : x

Socks:

Base : RGB 0,14,12
Design1 : 1 - RGB 16,14,6
Design2 : 2 - RGB 16,14,6

For both kits, alternatively try R 18 G 17 B 10 for the gold colour. Might look a bit more subtle and less yellow ? Or alternatively STILL, use both the "gold" RGBs for either of the "adidas stripes" on shirts and shorts, as they are so close to one another, that they give off a very subtle gold tinted effect between the two. Almost like a gold shine......of sorts :ugeek:

Awesome I`m all over these cheers.

All I can say for the above wow and cheers. To nget my PS3 to see the PNGs had to go to the PS3 browser File and save image but once I got them in PES 2012 they look brilliant. Resized a bit.

Keeper used the Green R: 0G:6 B:6

Home shirt used the blue R:0 G:6 B: 20

Cheers again, well happy. Plus the gold looks amazing on the shits has a proper shimmer. :D
