Re: PES2012 NEWS, DISCUSSION, VIDEOS & SCREENS (Part 47)
Hi guys, i feel like if the game decides who will be the winner just for blue or red arrows.
So it seems that the computer decides who can win or not through stats . Somebody feel the same or is just me? i never felt this way on old pes.
I think the purpose of the stats should only be to show the player´s abilities, but it seems computer (i mean cpu, the program, the game) decides who can win or not through stats.
PES 2012 feels very automated sometimes. It is not fair.
By the way,

well aren't you a sweetheart danielrh.
one thing i do want to hear about are improved single player modes. i'm not going to go into it all again as i'm sure there's a 10 pager rant back in the archives about it. but they really need to make the effort to make the modes as immersive as possible.
On saturday i played multiplayer pro evo for the first time since 2010, it was simply fantastic, a lot of what irritates me about playing against the AI is gone everything feels so much smoother especially the 'contain' mechanism of defending, it's nowhere near as robotic or 'sticky' as against the AI. if they could somehow make the AI as intelligent as a half decent human then that would make the world of difference. sorry seabass but you're not quite at skynet levels just yet.
though i guess In fairness i was on a test only ps3 at work
so didnt install patches or gamedata so had ver 1.0 with the rotten goalkeeper out the area bug but anyway it really did make me realise that the AI isn't quite on a level that i'd be hoping for... but as my friend pointed out, is that what you want? wouldn't that take the magic out of multiplayer PES.... i dunno. a ponderer for sure.

I strongly advise you all to take a leave of absence from this site for a few days. It does wonder to your sanity, not to mention the number of cigarettes you spare while NOT contemplating on 2013. I found my inner peace whilst avoiding speculation until tangible intel comes by.

Why can't it be from gameplay cam, recorded from a match? I didn't mention zooming, just slowing down, but even that doesn't have to happen.
What i'm getting at is a small piece of gameplay which showcases key improvements like those i've mentioned. Ronaldo beating the man could incorporate a new first touch as well!
Sorry, totally misread your post (gotta stop reading stuff on diagonal lol), we're in the same wave of thought.
You're suggesting small, actual gameplay videos where they slow the time down to focus on improvements kicking in? If so, I love it!
Exactly this!

Sounds very good in theory, though i think the urge would prove too strong, (in my case anyway), especially after a few drinks

Nothing bad in that. As long as you stay away from perforated inanimate objects and livestock after those drinks, we're good. Matter fact, I implore you to stay vigil on these boards. The devil you know and all that. The worse that can happen here is possible venture to some explicit content websites during the wait.

Tommy Burns When you put on the Celtic jersey you’re not playing for a football team, you’re playing for a community and a cause
Xavier Hernández i Creus Celtic, like Barcelona, are more than a football club. Our clubs are a symbol of a culture and community that has not always been made welcome in their respective countries

Dreadful animation, so rigid, but a brilliant save nonetheless. Deflected shots and how GK's deal with them is a must fix. GK's need to track the ball the moment it leaves strikers foot (provided they see it, which is another thing that should be added in). If the ball changes course and gets deflected, they should try to adjust and "dig out" the deflected ball.
I want FOV system of sorts implemented for GK's. I want them to have a field of vision which is obstructed by players. If they don't see a ball coming in, I can forgive them conceding a goal. But if they see it, I want them responding straight away, moving from their position and getting ready for the save animation.
Deflections should be dealt with as stated above.

Actually it is maybe the only realistic keeper animation of PES

I just played a match with Getafe and noticed that the fans are beating the drums in the Pirates of the Caribbean theme, it's such a nice little touch, haven't paid attention to that until now
