Anyone found a way to do a chip shot in the FIFA Street demo?

Guess i was wrong about them including some variety in the demo... :|

Anywho, I was wondering if there was a reason some of you guys don't really comment on the front page and tend to stay in here?

Why is this forum and the fifa community on here generally, so quiet? The Pes forums are usually buzzing with discussions etc whereas this place barely registers any new posts. Maybe the fifa guys are ultra happy with their game and spend more time playing then analysing? lol

On a side note, downloaded the fifa street demo the other night- deffo not my kinda game. Animations are okay but I just can't seem to get into it. Bring on the real footy titles in sept/oct; or possiblly the new euro game if it gets released in may/june.

Just get rid of this overall plastic skating feel, EA. Yes, it's a street game. A little more arcade. But at least make it feel like you're on the ground. I just hope they're working on this in fifa 13. Feels extremely cheap when you're just skating around with no proper footplanting. EA, with all your money, hire som guys who knows how to do it. New kits, balls, shoes, faces to the "wrong" teams, and half baked game modes and a broken impact engine. I don't want fifa 13 to be "another title.....". Make some difference now, please! You need to be serious. Learn the core of football. The beauty of it.

I found this BIG NEWS about the EURO 2012 Videogame:

Yes a EURO 2012 Game coming in this Year, BUT...

... this time NOT by EA !!!! Warner Bros. Consumer Products will manage licensing programmes for UEFA EURO 2012 !!! It is under development by Double Helix Games and that SUCKS !!! WTF.... thats so unbelievable and the biggest bad joke ever, Double Helix Games will develop a Soccer Game... come on... LOL !!! look only the bad Games by Double Helix Games on PS3 and Xbox360, that says it all ... and with which Engine for this soccer game ??? and where are the details for this game or a short trailer and gameplay videos ?? BECAUSE the EURO 2012 starts at June, so in 4 month...

here are the NEWS links:

http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro/news/newsid=949436.html

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Euro_ ... eo_game%29

its not official at this time, but this will be coming soon in the next month....

thats really so crazy and incredible!!! i dont understand why the UEFA are so stupid, that will be a biggest mistake and this wannabe Soccer Game will be FAIL and will be destroyed !!! maybe more money by Warner Bro. is not everything... !!! or more Hollywood feeling at the UEFA LOL... and then also calculated from Double Helix Games...

EA are a very shrewd company and I can see them releasing some sort of update/DLC to FIFA 12 that will allow people to play through the Euro tournament.

Whos says it will be a bad thing? could be a good thing, maybe this game could be a hit, then maybe could lead the pathway for a new yearly football title if it works out, and add competition to Konami and EA.. the game hasn't even had a press release yet nevermind released so i wouldn't judge it yet.

I like the FIFA Street demo. A lot of fun although could do with some key improvements.

Regards the ''big news'' :

The reference material in the Wiki entry does not link Double Helix making the UEFA game. If you read the actual UEFA and Warners links it says bugger all about Warner Interactive Entertainment and everything about Warner Consumer products being the licensing partner.

http://www.timewarner.com/newsroom/pres ... 8-2010.php

Note how in the link above David Taylor of UEFA says :

""UEFA is pleased to be able to continue its successful relationship with WBCP. As industry leaders creatively and at retail, they have proved an invaluable partner for previous events in 2004 and 2008 and we look forward to building on that momentum through 2013," says David Taylor, CEO of UEFA.

UEFA and WBCP will work in tandem on creative program developments, including mascot and art programs. Additionally, they will jointly oversee the selection process to recruit new licensees and official retailers for all programs and national competitions.''

Key words here are ''continue'' and ''licensees''. Yes, it does also say that they would oversee the recruitment of ''new licensees'' but essentially EA would qualify as an existing one... if EA even need to negotiate with Warner regarding a UEFA game in the first place.

Someone has added two and two together and came out with five....then made a Wikipedia page about their findings and sprinkled it with some other nonsense they pulled out of their backside.

Hey, I could be wrong and maybe a new publisher and dev are handling the UEFA game but it strikes me as being unlikely given the evidence available.

FIFA Street :

Not for me but I didn't think it ever would be.

First it was FIFAWC2010, now it's FIFA Street. I think I really like all of EA's non-FIFA football output.

They seem to make everything but FIFA really quite decently.
