More "personal" story...super [/sarcasm]

If this is rubbish, I'll sue IO for mental trauma

I'm starting to worry that I won't. It's like IO have sat down and said "How far from Hitman can we make this without being lynched?"

Not very, imo

Yeah, i have the same feeling that it won't be the Hitman of old. However i still hope that there will be enough Hitman in Hitman to make it the title that it should be.

I kinda get what you mean, I think its still going to be good, but if youre not being handed assignments, its like youre not a hitman, youre just a man out for revenge.

Which would be fine, if it wasnt a Hitman game.

Mission Walkthrough!

I think they've got Hans Zimmer to do the soundtrack going by the last few seconds. ;)

It looks and moves brilliantly but obviously a few shades away from the classic gameplay we've known since the older games. I dunno maybe its time to evolve? One thing is for sure - there's a definite feeling of epic scale and grandness that's not been present in any of the Hitman games before IMO.

I don't agree with it needing to evolve. Hitman has been and should always remain a niche game, It's the only Assassin game out there (Assassin's Creed doesn't count, as they're so different) it's supposed to be uncompromisingly difficult and take skill to complete. They should never forget that the core fans are 100's of times more important than the casual gamer, they're the reason the series still exists.

As someone said on PESFan, they were always going to put action scenes in the gameplay trailer, otherwise it would bore the arse off people who don't love the series.

Hopefully, they haven't destroyed the game to suit non-fans

There are shades of Splinter Cell Conviction in there, but it seems to have been handled well. Its difficult to put into words any concrete views on the change in gameplay without having played it, so I'll say that it just seems different but a bit better imo. If that deviates from the classic gameplay then I suppose we'll discover any issues when the game is released.

New Hitman: Absolution screens:

And apparently Hitman Blood Money will make it's way to the PS3 as it has been rated by the ESRB for Xbox 360 and ps3. Maybe it will be a simple port for the psn or maybe it gets remastered in HD. I guess time will tell.

Oh yeah! Axe right to the skull! Poetry in Motion. From the pictures, i can understand the Intense Violence the ESRB has given the game. Love it.

Did you hear the neck break at the end of the video? Oh that gave me shivers!
