Although I need to thank you for posting your opinions unfortunately my questions on the first post haven't been answered :(

I will re-post them just in case Suff or anyone else from the FSB team answers them.

Is there gonna be an option (like in FIFA 09) for gamers who want to play with the d-pad instead of the analog stick on FIFA 10?

And if yes,

What are the disadvantages for those players concerning the gameplay?

I will try to find out from the development team

Thanks ever so much Suff!

No confirmation as of yet guys, but until I hear from them my educated guess is that the option will still be in there however it will limit you to 8 directions and essentially end up being a handicap since your opponents will have 360 degrees dribbling.

Will keep you posted

To be honest if the option was there it would a handicap like suff said but if you beat your mate who's using analog then you got some skills :)

I had confirmation through email by the amazing O.J. Lewis of FIFA informer, who contacted David Rutter and I am happy to report that the d-pad option will be available (as Suffwan predicted!) in FIFA 10! Of course the 360 degrees dribbling won't be possible if you choose to play with the d-pad instead of the analog stick (duh!). But still GREAT news for those who can't or won't play with the stick. :P :P :P :D :D :D

I hope it is not the end cus I'm a D-pad player. Playing Winning Eleven for many years, this is a really first time I move to FIFA. I play many of other games with analog but soccer game. when i use D-pad to move player, the left analog is not able to use the tactic properly, anyone notice that??? i hope someone can give me some suggestion to solve this problem beside telling me to use analog to move player.

I Still Use D-Pad...For Some Reason I Cannot Bring Myself To Become Comfortable w/The Analog Stick...
I Guess It Is Practise Makes Perfect...

But I Still Use D-Pad As I, Have More Control Than The Analog Stick..

i couldnt imagine anyone being able to play as well with the d-pad as they do with the analog stick, but obviously it works for you. i feel you are not getting full use of the 360 degree dribbling
