True, but then again Hughes gets the best from Bellamy, whether that's enough or not, we'll see. I agree, i think Barry is overrated, but like i said, Hughes works a lot better with these "Premiership" players. Thats why im excited to see who he buys an how he does.

Yeah, well he will have a full summer to do business, i think robinho and elano will both leave.

I think bellamy is a good player, but with injury problems you cant rely on him for 20 + goals

Yeah, they are really lacking a top class striker.
Robinho will go to chelsea, elano will probably go to madrid or Inter.

Too many average players

I dont really rate Barry myself but he does/did the business for Villa and he is established in the EPL so maybe City are needing that type of player who can boss the midfield for them.

You're right, thats what im thinking Hughes is trying to do, build a team of experienced Prem players, i like Hughes approach, he isnt getting carried away and aiming for the title, he is slowly building a squad over a few years. Im glad the rich guy has the patience and has some sense.

Even if Man City get into the champions League next year (I dont think they will tbh)
Surely by the time they play in it there will be better players than him in the Man City team , with the way the owners were talking when they took over.

Stupid move by Barry IMO , hes not as good as he thinks he is .

And I dont think Robinho is just average , he had a good season IMO playing with some average players .
Although he doesnt turn up sometimes (mostly away from home) he still posseses great ability and would be better at a better team.
But I dont think he is a special player , hes just good .

I agree with most things you said. Barry has been overblown by the English media , as usual, and Robinho is the type of player that plays well on a team of superstars, when he is surrounded by similar players, he wont stand out in an average team, which poses questions about his ability to perform when needed to.

They need to improve at the back, i really only rate Dunne out of their back 4, not a micah richards fan, hes way too unreliable, fortunately his pace gets him out of a lot of situations and errors

Dunne can be brilliant, but then again, he can be very mistake prone at time, too many times. Richards is overrated.
Yeah, they need a solid defense, they should start with someone like, Jagielka or Hangeland.
