I'm massively sceptical about this year...the cars probably won't have wheels :?

Got rid of this one months ago, couldnt deal with the stress of playing it anymore!

Interested to see what 2011 has in store though, the game has the potential to be awesome if they iron out the problems.

Not a day one purchase this year, thats for sure. I'll see the general views on it before buying. Not paying some €55 for a piece of buggy shite again

Definitely. This year though the reviewers will have something to compare to (last years), so they should be harder to impress, and will comment on how good it is compared to last years game and whether the bugs are still there.

Decided to take this out for a spin today. If the next game has as many bugs but has a less annoying prick as Race engineer, i'll be happy.

I swear, i want to find the idiot and nail his testicles to a wall!

Why is it that he can't tell me his useless information on a straight? Why is it always in the braking zone or midway through a corner? So bloody annoying.

Having a good race in Valencia, started 12th got up to 9th or so after 7 laps. On the last corner of the 7th lap he tells me who's in the lead...i **** the corner up, badly. I think to myself, it's okay that's what flashbacks are for. First corner of the 8th lap (now up to 7th due to pit stops), he informs me, you've got a Ferrari in front of you. This Ferrari is so far ahead that he's not on the radar FFS. WHY DO I NEED TO KNOW THEN! Needless to say i crashed. I don't want to be thinking of anything else when going through a corner

He also told me to pass a guy who was at least 3 seconds in front of me. Like WTF?

Just had a laughable old moment. A renault drives straight into the side of my car in a corner. Nose to sidepod, i spin. I restart the race, roles reversed, same corner and...

...I spin

Joke of a game

Back for more pain...

Finished 14th in Valencia after an eventful race

But now...

Just got a drive through penalty for overtaking under a yellow flag. In 5th on Hockenheim and Alonso and Webber clash both spinning before i made the preceding corner. Webber stays off track waiting to rejoin but Alonso begins to drive (I use this term loosely, he may as well be parked). He's literally at crawling speed and i'm doing well over 100mph. Naturally, i pass him as i think he's clearly part of the accident but not in this game...
There was literally nothing i could've done. Didn't see the crash until i was literally on top of it

The worst thing is if i hadn't got the penalty, i could've been 1st (Hamilton and Sutil were yet to make stops)

Just raced at Spa

Qualified 3rd in my Virgin (only did 1 lap in Q3). One thing i do love about this game is the fact you can feel setup changes instantly. I did a quick setup in practice because i was too lazy too make the effort, was in the mid 1:54's, made some changes and straight away got mid 1:53, even reaching low 1:52 in Q3

Started kind of poor in the race, falling to 4th through the first corner. I gained some speed through Eau Rouge, bringing me right onto the tail of Alonso and Massa, I out-braked the two of the into Les Combes.

Now behind Hamilton, I began to lose time to him (whilst pulling away from the trailing pack). On the 3rd lap, I gain massive amounts of time through Sector 1 and the start of Sector 2, I make my move through Campus and start to pull away on Lap 4 Hamilton stops. I stop on Lap 5 from the lead, i stop perfectly but get held up (overly so tbh), I come out behind Alonso, Massa and Webber. Massa and Webber being the two cars who pass me in the pitlane. Alonso pits on the next lap and I move up to 3rd and thats where i finish. My first podium, very happy but should've been a win

I'll finish with a small complaint. It started raining on about lap 8 (13 lap race), by lap 10 it looked like wet tyre conditions, yet on lap 13 i set my fastest time in Sector 1 on slicks! Ridiculous

Won my first ever race last night

Track was Monza. I was top in practice, got pole qualifying and led from start to finish in the Race in my lowly Virgin, except for about 5 seconds when Webber literally ghosted through my car coming out of the pits

Won by about 5 seconds, which is only because i was taking it careful for the last 5 or 6 laps. Nearly everyone pitted twice due to rain, i had waited because the track wasn't wet enough and then changed to Wets.

Buemi was 2nd. Can't remember who was 3rd but they were just as unlikely

Well done.
I've just re-purchased this game this time for my ps3 instead of xbox. With an absolute certainty that I'm getting F1 2011, not sure whether I should get it on xbox or ps3. It may come down to what the best steering wheel is available on both consoles.
