Genoa President Enrico Preziosi admits “Inter are interested in Rodrigo Palacio, but I’d only sell him for Goran Pandev.”
Since former Rossoblu Coach Gian Piero Gasperini took over at San Siro, they have been linked with a bid for hitman Palacio.

“It’s true, Inter are interested in Palacio, so we’ll see if we manage to finalise this deal or not,” confessed Genoa President Preziosi on Radio Radio.

“We talked about it already and I will not sell Palacio just for money. If Pandev accepts a move to Genoa, then we can do this. If not, then Palacio will stay with us.

“After Alexis Sanchez, I think Rodrigo is the best trequartista playing in Italy right now.”

Other options have been suggested to Genoa, but Preziosi is focused only on Pandev.

“McDonald Mariga is a very good player, but I already have Juraj Kucka and just signed Kevin Constant.

“Emiliano Viviano is not on our wish list. Eduardo is our first choice goalkeeper, so if he goes then we have other options: they include Marco Storari, Sebastien Frey and a foreign shot-stopper.”

He's probably better than Pandev tbh. Not sure on this one. If Gasperini feels the need to bring him in then so be it

Not really he just wanted more money. Same with Ledesma, but he saw the error of trying to play hardball with Lotito, and hence was put back into the team (and was actually one of our consistently best players last season)

Ah sure, he's won a few trophies since leaving. I'm sure he won't regret leaving too much.
I doubt the deal will go ahead tbh. For some reason i can't see it happening

Has Muslera left btw?

Depends where you read! His agent keeps saying he hasnt signed anything, Turkish press say he has, apparently Galatasaray say he has, but Lazio so far have announced nothing, so who knows.

Its quite funny really, he wanted more money, I think he was thinking "if Lazio dont give me what I want, another big club will" and when hes realised the only team that want him is Galatasaray hes like "shit, I dont want to go to Turkey" so is trying to stall.

I do however think alot of it is his agents fault.

To be honest the best thing for him is to go, he wont be welcomed by the fans at Olimpico again.

Not overly enthused about Marchetti as replacement though, a man who hasnt played for a year, and who I think was at fault for every single goal he conceded at the World Cup.

Some cool footage of the Utd team on tour in Chicago last summer. Lots of behind the scenes banter etc. Dan you will love the part where Mame Diouf is walking around Chicago wearing his Utd tracksuit and a pair of white slippers

In other news, through twitter I have noticed that there is an increase in rumours that Inter are putting together a bid to try and sign Eden Hazard.

€40m? Overpriced by quite a bit there. Ridiculous pricing in this day and age. He's a top talent for sure but at that price :?

Yeah, it's ridiculous. Sure it's probably not true, can't see us forking out that kind of money. Unless, Moratti has found some money under the cushion of his couch

Those comments from Nasri surely puts him at the Arsenal exit door.

Italian media are widely reporting Inter have snatched Ricky Alvarez out from under Arsenal’s noses for €12m.
It was believed the Gunners had a deal in place for the Velez Sarsfield creative midfielder.

However, the Nerazzurri stepped in with a counter-offer and a five-year contract worth €1.2m per season.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter met with his agent yesterday and the move could be completed as early as next week.

Very good player if true, ive watched Velez quite a bit this last season, good, fast creative player.

Surprised no one has made a move for Juan Manuel Martinez, hes awesome. Just signed a new 5 year contract with Velez though, so maybe that put people off.

I really don't understand why more teams aren't after Giuseppe Rossi. The guy is special. If I were Barca i'd go for him instead of Sanchez. He can play across the front line and the key thing is he scores far more than Sanchez which is what Barca need. They have all these great creative players but at the end of last season Pedro and Villa went on a awful run of games without scoring and they relied heavily on Messi. Rossi would easily chip in with 15 to 20 goals a season and ease the pressure off of Messi a bit.
He can be one of the top strikers in the world imo if he moves to a top side. If United never had Chicharito i'd have him back in a second.

Apparently Barca have been impressed with how Messi and Lavezzi play together for Argentina, so much so that they are considering a bid.

I fucking love Ezequiel Lavezzi, id do anything to see him in a Lazio shirt. On the pitch of course, not just wandering round town or something!

Great player, and if Barca offer I can see him going.

It's being reported that Real Madrid have sealed a deal to sign Fabio Coentrao for €30m. Marcelo and now Coentrao vying for the left back spot.
