A suggestion, an android/iphone app for the forums like tapatalk or forum runner would be awesome

We're aware of the issues with the forums/sites and have an open ticket with the host to sort it. Bear with us.

I have a suggestion.

Usabilty-wise it would be nice if the tag that shows the number of new messages could change in colour when different than 0. That would provide the user with a clear visible sign that *something* could need his attention.

And if I may be so bold, other possibility (even more correct , as is no such thing as "0 new messages"; If there are more new messages then there have to be at least 1 - even more correct would "1 new message", singular - or more than 1 new message) is to remove "0 new" (when 0), showing only "messages" (because it links to the the Control Panel PMs). On the other hand, if in fact there are new messages then it would show as is now (no change).

Note: Please don't take my suggestion as any kind of disregard for KMN's work which, if I had to rate, would be as excelent. As a dev myself I tend to let professional deformation take the better of me and tend to look at this things from a professional point of view. Again, not trying to disrespect anyone. My aim is to help to improve things, constructively, not to disrespect the work I respect, enjoy and admire. I can't emphasize that enough.This is merely a suggestion (and only that). Please do treat as such. Thank you for you time.

There's an issue with the forums sending emails that I'm aware of - it's top of my bug list - the fix that should have worked doesn't seem to do jack!

There's an issue with the forums sending emails that I'm aware of - it's top of my bug list - the fix that should have worked doesn't seem to do jack!

This should have now been fixed - there was an issue with something on the firewall on the server that was blocking a port. If you suddenly start receiving PM notification emails, please let me know that it's worked.

Also, if you've had trouble activating your account (and are reading this logged out), if you request the activation email again it should (fingers crossed) now actually send you something...
