Re: L.A. Noire
Third downloadable case was released today - http://nextgengamingblog.com/blog/la-no ... available/
I will definitely be picking it up very soon. I played "The Naked City" and the "A Slip of the Tongue", enjoyed them both...especially the former.
I guess, I'm alone in being a huge LA Noire fan here? *tumbleweed*

Ah awesome. It's a hard game to talk about without mentioning spoilers, but it's just so wonderfully put together that I couldn't help but love it. Sure, it's not perfect, but I applaud for the trying a little something different and, man, the facial animations are just out of this world.

Exactly the fact that it was different was the thing that made me wanna to play apart from the obvious the faces and rockstars name on it.

LA Noire to launch on PC this fall with bumped visuals
Rockstar’s announced a PC version of LA Noire, confirming it’ll release this fall after the console versions shipped 4 million units to date.
The game will be available at retail as well as a download version, and will feature 3D support, keyboard mapping, gamepad functionality and “improved graphical enhancements.”
The Team Bondi investigator was released last month on PS3 and 360. Rockstar Leeds handled duties on the PC version.
“L.A. Noire is a new type of game that makes players see through a detective’s eyes in 1940s Los Angeles,” said Rockstar boss Sam Houser.
“Its unique blend of story, action and crime solving will be perfect to play on PC.”

I hope it's not true, but this could be the final piece of DLC the game gets.

Re: L.A. Noire
Getting this on Saturday for an early birthday gift(birthday is on Monday)
Looking forward to playing it has to be said but it does sound like this McNamara fellow has shot himself in the foot for future projects. Rockstar certainly sound like they ain't interested in working with Team Bondi or more specifically him anytime soon. A shame but you cannae be treating staff like that and for all that Rockstar are hard taskmasters as Red Dead development highlighted they know their shit and make sure all are credited. Besides, this guy hadn't really earned any right to be such a ball bag beyond this good idea for a game as his previous projects have been pretty poor.

Re: L.A. Noire
I still haven't played LA Noire, lol, totally different game but I really enjoyed Heavy Rain because it was the return of a unique sub-genre (the game itself is basically a spiritual sequel of Fahrenheit on PS2) anyway I quite enjoy games that dare to stand out as being different and unique. I'll eventually play Child Of Eden and The Last Guardian for the same reasons. But LA Noire, just not entirely convinced enough to set the money down without having played it first. Think I'll have to hit up youtube for some gameplay vids.
