Cheers for the reply on the pit bugs, Danny. Seems like its luck of the draw then basically which isnt a good sign. God knows how or why they didnt spot any of these bugs before the game was released is beyond me, it really is. Fair play to them for fixing some of the bugs but it should be a case of these bugs not being in the game in the first place as they are pretty big ones which have ruined so many peoples enjoyment of the game which is a shame. Im going to stick with it though as although there are problems with it, when it does do its job in the way it should, its fantastic.

I really hope they learn from their mistakes for next year. I wanted the safety car in next year but if they mess it up the way they've messed up other things, then it's not worth the effort :?

I love how the AI make mistakes though 8-)
Sometimes right in front of you, which can be scary

I want to see the safety car in for next year as it should be. They want to make it a realistic game, then they should put it in as it would add to the realism. I was gutted that it wasnt in this years game as it should of been without a shadow of a doubt :(

Ive had a few crashes where ive been focusing so hard on the car in front that when he makes a mistake, ive not had time to react . Not funny at the time but bloody side splitting when you think about it afterwards

I remember while doing the Spanish GP, someone ran onto the sand marginally and spun in front of me but ended up rolling in the way of my car. Couldn't avoid it :( :D

That sounds epic! :D

The A.I is pretty damn good on F1 2010 I must admit. Shame we cant say the same about GT5 though :(

Yeah, six years in the making and it's still a formation lap :?
Pretty shocking from Polyphonic. GT really needs to start again and make sure the AI is up to scratch

Thats one of the reasons I wont buy GT5.

Had an alright race last night at Hungary, came 7th in the end after starting pole, but it was my fault so im ok with it. I made a good start, but lost a place. But I was pushing too hard to pass Hamilton that I went wide and dropped down to 6th. Came out of the pits in 15th and worked my way back to 7th, mostly passing people as they pitted but did make a couple of passes, including an epic 3 lap battle with Rosberg that ended id me taking him on the 2nd to last corner of the last lap.

No way im gonna win the championship though, due to the games Hamilton love, hes about 100 points clear.

Tell me about it.

I used to be a massive GT fan back in my younger days but now I just dont enjoy it due to the fact that the A.I is so rigid and dull and I take more notice of it now compared to when you are younger and all that matters then are the graphics :D . It doesnt feel like racing at all as they just stick to the same racing line and dont actually want to race which to me is not good enough. Forza 3 for the 360 shows how A.I drivers should be racing and its something that PD should of looked at when making GT5.

Just won at Monza (my favourite track) and amazingly Hamilton came 14th. So now, with 5 races to go, im 50 points behind him. Not impossible....

Now at Singapore. Another disgusting, hateful circuit. Too slow, walls right next to the track, and 4 foot high curbs that spin you at every opportunity.

Playing as Webber I havnt experienced this much, but those of you doing the proper career mode will have, if you start the race mid grid, your race is pretty much screwed before you begin, because of the crap driver AI, you are GUARANTEED to be hit and/or spun in the first few corners. Which of course they get no penalties for....

Singapore is seriously pissing me off now, I keep restarting the race because I WILL NOT do badly because of poor programming.

Ive said it before, if I fail because of something I do, then fine, I accept that, but if im constantly being put to the back of the grid because the AI is appalling and just drives into you, that is unacceptable.

Just now, I got a 10 second penalty, for speeding in the pit lane. How? When its not even possible to turn off the pit speed limiter whilst youre in the pit lane. So how did I manage that? Piece of shit game.

Finally finished 8th, which is a bit crap, but ill take it just so I never have to race that godaweful track again.

Lewis won, surprise, because I dont think he pitted. I was 4th, there was a Mclaren ahead of me who went into the pits. A lap later, I went into the pits, and came out in 16th, so in theory somewhere around me would be the Mclaren from a lap ago. Few corners later, I see him, spun the wrong way. Few laps later the pit guy tells me Lewis is in first. So its safe the assume the Mclaren I saw was Button.
So when did Lewis pit then? If he was first when Button, and then me, pitted, he would have come out around about 12th ish.
So I dont think he pitted, the game cheats again....

Thats it, tomorrow after work, this game is gone, trading it for Black Ops, im fucking sick of it.

Starting 10th on the grid at Japan, I literally, no word of a lie, cannot complete half a lap, without being given a penalty for "causing collision" when it was clearly the other drivers fault, or being taken out/spun by AI drivers that just smash into you as if you are not there.

Fucking bullshit. Took all of my restraint not the snap the disc in two, the only reason I didnt, was that I can probably get about £20 for it trade in on Black Ops.

Traded mine ages ago, just got sick of it. Dont like GT5 either.

Im currently playing WRC, and Test Drive Unlimited 2 is out in a week or so.

Nope :D
Annoying isn't it?

You're going around a corner and the AI decides the racing line is actually through your car. The amount of times this happens is mind boggling...

Please tell me you lie. :(
So basically if i'm last i could fasten the whole thing up and quit the race.
That sucks. Kinda was hoping youre gonna say it's possible but seldom.

It just doesn't happen. I've done quite a few races and never seen a AI driver penalised. I've read countless thread on Codemasters forums complaining about it too

What makes matters worse, if they hit you, YOU get penalised.
