Great podcast lads, fsb Fridays is a big thumbs up! Love the live bit at the end with the forums. Perhaps a little tweak to that could be a q and a thread on fsb that you could log onto and discuss members questions, thoughts and comments etc. Plus it will give fsb members a little buzz of they get a mention on a podcast. WENB do a great deal with their podcasts and now finally FSB do too. Keep it up! Hopefully there will be more news to discuss very soon.

I like this idea. we might not be able to do it every week, depends on how much else we have to talk about, but it will certainly be something i want to do as much as possible, as we get closer to release the news just keeps coming. or it should do....

Ideally we are going to keep this going all year round, rather than just on the run up to each release, things like this will help fill the podcast out.

For reference, we typically record on wednesdays at about 6 till about 7/7:30. So check the forums then. If for some reason we change that, either dave or myself (or both) will put a tweet about it and post here. Make sure you are following us on twitter, i see quite a few already are.

yeah as i said to you on the EA boards, i'm not sure what i was thinking really, noted. :)

Out of interest, did anyone think the music at the end was shite?

I know I'm late to the party for last weeks (just barely listened yesterday  ) and this isn't super relevant, but I have to say, your transition music/sound is good, but it reminds me of Silent Hill for some reason... hah.

Anyways, good work on the podcasts. Your guys rapport is already really good and will only get better. Keep on keeping on.

Thanks fella we're going to ask for some questions/topics much earlier next time so you all have plenty of warning.

Incidentally the next one has been edited and will be with you tomorrow morning. It covers some issues close to all of our hearts including this place :)

Yeh I didn't have enough time to get the main issues over to you this week :( ah well.

Anyways,if you haven't already noticed it seems EA has been revealing a cover star every day this week. Starting with Iniesta, then Kaka, then Carlos Vela, then Landon Donavon and today Ozil. can't find Official press conferences of all of them online though.

A slightly strange approach imo. That could bea talking point! :P

Thanks, comments like this just make us want to keep going.

It was tough this week with there being little on the news front to talk about, hence it being a little shorter.

Don't worry about it, there will be plenty of opportunities to give us things to talk about. :D

We have found a recording time that suits us both well, so i can't see it changing except for on the odd, unavoidable occasion. Most weeks we will be recording between 6 and 7:30 on wednesdays, so if you're available, check in then.

We did slightly touch on the cover star bits, but not really.

Just finished listening to this one, good round up of weeks news...

As a consumer i dont like this £10 fee from EA, but it shouldnt really affect me becuase i do buy majority of my games from new. If the money does go back to EA and they use it to improve the game then good. I have thoughts of them using it to line their pockets though.

Regards forums, the main reason why i hardly visit the official EA forum is becuase there are so many petty comments. The MODS on WENB and FSB are superb and if a thread goes slighlty off topic they guide us back on to topic and say this can be discussed in other threads. This is why i prefer these two sites over any others out there.

On graphics, i do hope the kaka and Iniesta pics we have seen so far are in the actual game. If they are it will be a massive step from what we have seen in Fifa 10 and the WC version.

Next week is a big week, we should finally get some gameplay video's so we will have pleny to talk about.

Another quality poddy lads.

And before anyone asks, Simian Mobile Disco - Sleep Deprevation. :D

I actually think we'll get something very close to the renders. If you look at previous years renders the ingame models ran very closely to them if you zoomed right in in replay mode. Infact in the world cup game players like Deco were stunningly modeled. Seriously, check it out. It's like a pocket-sized version of the already diminuitive man!

So that said, I have no doubts that it will run very close when seen ingame. You don't spend that much on new camera tech to make wallpapers with it!

On forum etiquette you have to feel lucky when you find a place like FSB. You can post your thoughts with likeminded peeps and get a reply within a fwe hours. You don't cop a load of abuse if you missed news from 3minutes ago either. The official forums can drive any man into a rage. Even a docile soul like myself.

Also, I hate it when the forum over there clogs with real life news. "ZOMG MAN UTD SIGN BEBE!". Who cares? It's a Fifa11 forum. EA have a quality "REAL FOOTBALL" forum for that stuff.

Anyways lads, keep on truckin'.

Ohhh yes Gamescom is going to lift the lid on everything don't worry about that :) Also in just over a week me and Tom are playing Fifa11 again at the Emirates so there will be loads of impressions and of course a podcast special.

And Adam's on the floor at Gamescom and we'll be getting him on as our first guest 8-) we just need to agree a fee and iron out his image rights

So it should be a really good 2 weeks for FSB and Fifa.

Another quality poddy, props again. I completely agree about everything you said concerning the official forum. Mainly the Rubbish section of the forum. Somehow they need to write a little code that moves any thing with "Ratings," "Chicharito," "Hair," etc. in the Subject line to a different section or have super-dedicated mods to do it. There is no need for those threads of speculating on player ratings. Just wait for the game and if your precious Chicharito is rated 78 and you think he should be 84... oh well.

I went to the official forums about a week ago and there was a simple thread started on speculation of who should be on the North American cover. It blew up into an argument about how ugly Rooney is and then progressed into a battle of Brits vs. Yanks about usage of soccer/football. Completely harmless original thread (still would qualify for the Rubbish category, imo) wanting opinions on who should be on the cover, converted to a crap thread of egos.

I didn't find this site until recently and I'm glad I did. Class people around here and if someone isn't, they get told to settle down or get booted. Anyways, I'm excited for your next couple of pods due to the footage we should be getting and your next hands-on impressions. Keep up the good work guys.
