Re: Winning Eleven 2010 Aoki Samurai no Chousen (20 May)
Evening guys.
Im not sure when ill be able to post up any videos of the game due to the fact that when I try to render the videos through Sony Vegas Pro 8, they dont seem to work. I think its to do with an update for my HD PVR that has caused the problems and im currently looking into the problem. I never had any problems before and I have probably uploaded 50 videos or so in the past so its very frustrating why its not happening now.
Ill keep you all posted on the situation and I apoligise for the problems/delay.
Cheers.

As a veteran PES player (1997-2010); I've tried Fifa Full Manual via Fifa 11 this year.. And this is the best Football sim I've ever played... Lets see what EA & Konami has in their hands to show for 2012

The lighting brilliant you really feel like your playing in asia and the stadiums are smaller and more atmospheric.
Thanks for the videos, but could you also film a match of two minutes in normal speed, ie. not in slow-motion, and with the widecam, that way one could get a better impression of the game?

No worries Gari. So what do you think of the game. Is it much of an improvement over PES 2010, worthy of a 72 dollar import, or is it more of the same?

I like the game but I wasnt expecting a massive improvement so when I did play it, I really enjoyed it. The way I look at it is if you dont expect too much you will enjoy the game more. Its basically PES 2010 with a few little tweaks which improve the game to be more enjoyable. Its worth importing it if you have a bit of money spare as although you will enjoy it, its not what I would call an 'essential' purchase.
Also with regards to my PVR problems ive been having, it seems that ive found the cause of the problem....Windows 7. Ive been doing a ton of research and it seems that the software (in order to run the PVR) isnt 100% compatible with a Windows 7 P.C/Laptop and that it causes a lot of problems. Im going to get out my old laptop tomorrow (which I used the PVR tons of times without any problems) and test it out again. Ill keep you updated Leigh.

My dad just binned(and I mean threw it in the bin!) his last Vaio on account of it just being too bloody annoying. Got a massive credit note from Sony due to his complaints

Any folk in the Glasgow or surrounding area might want to give this little independent store a call.
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=argyle+ ... 01743&z=19
I am going to give them a call tomorrow about them stocking JAP imports. If I get the numbers I could maybe look to get them to get WE: Blue Samurai and future Winning Eleven titles in stock.
Cheers to LK for the link!

Re: Winning Eleven 2010 Aoki Samurai no Chousen
Couple of things i wanna know about the PS3 version
1. Is the dreaded stop turn 90 degree slow turn thing with players with poor dribbling stats gone?
2. What is the A.I like, back to the good old days of PS2 or stuck in the ping pong back to front mess that is PES 2010's AI
Thanks

1. Yes as far as I can tell it is gone and much much smoother and responsive in general compared to PES 2010/WE 2010
2. A.I has been improved they don`t bunch up and create space well. Runs are made better by full backs, wingers etc.
Hope that helps.

thanks
1. Yes the ref is fairer and people have had penalties.
2. Don`t know what you mean, but maybe stats have been altered a bit not sure.

I got my copy from play-asia day before yesterday. I've played the game. Graphically, the game seems to have been touched up a bit.
The biggest improvement I see is the AI and difficulty. When I'm playing on TOP PLAYER, it is much harder to create chances now. The centre backs are very clever and know when to block. The AI player commits itself to tackles and does make successful tackles. It's hard to get a good shot. The opponent AI nips the ball when you do a backlift. You need to play a passing game as well as a tactical one if you want to have shots on goal or score goals. Even the AI's attack is improved. They are not stereotypical. They hit you back with some smart football.
I'm enjoying this new challenge. Thanks to roigafni for making the first option file for Blue Samurai. I only hope that the scope of the option file is increased to get kits and all.
