PES 2011 Wish-Lists: Sound Effects & Ambience During Matches

Just to add, a more in depth commentary set up. If a player leaves a club in real life the commentators should talk about it during match but not robotically. For example if theres not much happening in the match the commentator should be speaking about relevent things of either player, team, manager and if suddenly there was a key moment in match ( being played ) the commentaor would stop half way through conversation and jump back to match commentary, so it sounds like real life.

Also different commentators for different matches.( depending on importance )

rivalries, really need an overall, check barça real madrid classic and you will get the type of sounds and hostlity toward the rival team. i want to feel that i´m in the stadium and that i´m playing away, it would also be nice if your wining you could only hear you fans for minutes.

- Away fans cheering when there is a goal. ( not as loud as home but hearable)

- booing if away team has ball for too long, also long sustained whistling.

- as a player starts to go on a run with space ahead of them or a ball played through one on one the crowd shout as they do in real life GO ONNNN! you know what i mean its a sort of slightly drawn out go on sort of willing them on.

- ironic cheers if you miss-place a pass etc.

Great ideas here with regards to the crowd, the difference it could make is actually enormous. Hope some of these ideas get implemented.

Amen. No stupid ball sounds like kicking a cardbox when dribbling. Only subtle sounds, a bit louder when kicking. But not like recent editions.

- i would really love to see different crowd types from different nations like most have already mentioned, for example greek fans chant and celebrating the goal different to english fans

- more hostile crowds for specific rival matches, olympiakos v panathinaikos, barca v madrid , fenerbahce v galatasaray etc

- louder noise and more drum sounds

- crowds booing ex players and the opposition when they have possecion of the ball

- flares being left off before the game in some countries like real life, greece, turkey etc

- realistic ball sounds instead of the klump sound we currently have, also a ball hitting the back of the net sound would be nice aswell

- players yelling in pain after a hard tackle , and players also calling for the ball in open spaces etc

thats all i can think of for now

am I crazy here? but SURELY there are no copywrite issues around recording actual crowd chants for each team. Even if the team is named "North london" the REAL chants could still be for Arsenal, am I wrong?

If this was implemented properly in PES2011 it would be AMAZING!
Imagine you are the away team, say for eg Liverpool VS Man United, as soon as the players take the field all's you can hear is the home teams chants in anticipation of a home win, BUT, you (man united) score!, suddenly you cant hear the home teams chants any more but you can hear from a section of the crown YOUR teams chants. you score again!! It's gone very quiet except for a slight raise of volume of the away chants. It's now the 79th minute and Liverpool score 1-2 and boom! The home crowd are bursting into "You'll never walk alone" louder than the beginning of the game to get their team back into this game!
Now tell me that wouldnt be AWSOME!

This doesnt even seem like it would be that hard for Konami to do, and the atmosphere that would create in a game would be second to none!

- unbiased fan support, home and away games (fans do travel, gents)
- more explosive crowd cheers when goal is scored
- crow cheers when you've won a penalty, performed a good tackle
- loud applause in fair play situations, substitutions of players, etc.
- crowd whistles at an opponent who was tackled, resulting in a player being sent off

- club and nation specific cheers
- proper anthems at the beginning of international matches
- players shouting at each others (pass the ball, watch your back, shoot, etc.)
- player commencing each others after good attempts on goal, complaining after bad ones

- diverse sounds when players kick the ball
- diverse sounds when the ball hits the post
- diverse sounds for tackles

- if in big lead near the end of the game, have the crowd sing like crazy
- if leading by one, have the crowd request for the final whistle
- give voice to the referee, let's hear him talk to the players (example: pipe down, first warning, second warning, last warning), use your imagination

I'm not sure, but maybe this does fit here:

- introduce full and more diverse stadium entrance scene (add option to turn them off of course)
- introduce walking on the pitch, lining up, greeting the fans, shaking hands with players and refs, coin toss, running out in the pitch, the whole nine yards
- introduce diverse (meaning multi angled) cut scenes from setting up free kicks, throw ins, substitutions, fouls, ref warning, etc.

- introduce diverse manager model for teams (names, appearance, that's all there is)

- introduce a full set of replay cameras around the pitch (much like real games)
- include full replays, from creating the chance, scoring until the end of celebration (full celebration)

- add option to save the replay of the entire match (if cut scenes are turned on) have those in the save file.
- this would allow some sweet fan videos for You Tube (as I said before, free advertising)

Celebration Camera: Please make a wide open camera, we don't wanna see the players' ears. We wanna see the impact of the goal over the crowd, over the players.

How long I've been playing and what I like about PES:

I have been playing PES since 2001 onto this present moment due to the gameplay and realism.


My suggestion is: Display Match Officials, Fans Close Ups and Additional Clubs Licenses on PES 2011


I think PES 2011 could be improved by displaying match officials giving medals and cups to the winning club or team on final matches instead of the individual players picking up the cup. Fans close up displays, reactions and celebrations on away and home games must be improved compared to real life soccer. Display a close up on individual players, coach and fans after a miss, error, corner and free kicks and more during the match. We will like to see both coaches of each club and team displayed with communication signs and reactions during the match and improved the fourth match official to be seen clearly with his board display when making substitutions during the match. Scoreboard need to be improved on PES 2011 by displaying the goals scored instead of being fake.

Presentations before and after each match is highly needed on PES 2011 with further improvement and realism just like real life soccer. Show the players coming from their dressing room onto the field of play without cut screen or black screen, shake each others hand with hugs and make some jugs and flexes before the match begin. Displaying substitutions jugging on the sideline along with each coach communication signs is needed on PES 2011.

I would like to see an advertisement option available on PES 2011 after half time of play with PES news, upcoming updates and more. This will add more realism on the game with fun.

UEFA player of the year video award display on PES 2010 need to be improved by showing the officials ceremony and when giving the award to the winning player, second and third player on the video along with the best defender, best midfielder and highest goal scorer. This will add more realism on PES 2011.

I would like to see few Bundesliga clubs licenses and available on PES 2011 such as Bayern Munich, Schalke 04, Werder Bremen, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, VfB Stuttgart, Hamburg and Wolfsburg. German Bundesliga League is highly needed on PES 2011 along with additional English Premiership licenses clubs such as Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham, Everton, Aston Villa, Fulham and Blackburn. These are the most important leagues and club teams Konami must to fully licensed on PES (Barclays Premier League, La Liga BBVA, Bundesliga, Portuguese Liga Sgares and other participating UEFA Champions League and Europa League Clubs).
