Maybe if a player was only allowed to use the same team once every ten games for ranked matches that would cut down on people using the same big teams all the time. I have only played a few games online but always use Celtic. I think it would be nice if more people used the team they support. I am not saying there are no Barca fans out there but surely there are supporters of other teams out there. I don't think I am a great player and Celtic are an average team in the game but I have given my online opponents a good game even though I have only won once.

I'm always Arsenal, that would be harsh as Arsenal is an average team in PES, Barca, Madrid then yes that would cut the spamming

Stopping people from using top clubs is rather difficult. I feel the important thing is to irradicate all the online bugs and most of the game's cheats so that the game is more balance for lower stats teams. That way, even using lower teams u still have a "chance"

Game "bugs"/cheats is the worst in my opinion. That is where u get constant similar goals. If these bugs are minimized even big teams will fall ha... PES12 has too many game "bugs" which dampen the online experiences

the thing with stopping players using barca is there are plenty of people that will play them with real etc...

so stopping them using barca doesn't seem right to me..

it's just about giving people options to filter - you can at the mo for club/international or user data this just needs expanding.

a similar filter could be added to the quick match sequence also...

it's the only thing i want for pes 13... no mention yet... im not holding my breath this year though.

they should just implement the same system they used for whatever PES it was online where you had the tournamentsd where you could select 3 teams which were rated up to 5 stars, and had a certain limit of stars to choose from (i.e. 3 teams but 10* limit, so people could pick barca once but then would only have 5*s to play with over the next 2 games) granted it wouldnt work in random online matches but having the option somewhere would give the people who dont always want to play with/against barca a different option

Yup that's a good option, that was back in the old ps2 days. I doubt it will be implemented this year.

right you are a team rating would be useful for this..
at the mo the teams are rated with six a-e ratings, there could be one rating these add up to or the filters could be exclusive. ie no a or no b. as it stands - not ideal though..

so currently the filters are; club/international/user

they could be club/international/user AND a level a-e.
so then the unavaliable are greyed out or not there like at the moment when you pick club or international.

this is my only gripe with pes 12, it seems obvious considering they already have a filter in place just to expand it ever so slightly.
then people can still play with thier favourite team for every game and play likeminded people .
racing games have got this sussed with assist filters. oh no can open... lol

They should alter the rating system slightly for teams though, I'm not a fan of having loads of A, B and C's all over the place. Should just be an overall rating.

Whatever Konami's actions are against cheaters in PES 2013, they have to taken full action immediately to deter cheaters away from what they are doing and to actually play the game fairly and just take it when they lose.

I think the best action would be that the first time every user plays PES 2013 online they have to agree with terms and conditions and within this it should state that strong actions will be taken against all users that cheat and list the warning process and they should have a strike system in place, so that users get three chances to stop cheating and once they strike three times, they will be temporarily suspended from playing online and once they come back they should have the fact that they were suspended in their profile, so it is evident that they are cheaters and players would then know they should keep away from them.

currently you get penalised when the other player disconnects and a fair play rating wouldn't work
(this has been disscussed a few pages back)

the dissconnects and lag switchers have definately gotten less this year though...
it certainly is a tough one

Interesting.. in real world people see Barca/Madrid playing againts a lesser skilled, team without a star.. now people don't want this reality to put into action or avoid this in PES..

I guess it is the gameplay of PES itself that has not yet limited the possibility of effectivity of star player or spamming 1st tier team by providing good balance in the game

That's what I mean too. I don't mind getting beat when I am using Celtic but it would be nice if it was by a variety of different teams. The teir system mentioned a few posts ago seems perfect to me. I would love to play a ranked match using Celtic and somebody used Rangers against me. Even if I got beat, I would be happy. I ain't the greatest player but I would feel like I had more of a chance if I was playing against a similar ranked team.
