As many top players as they can muster I would say. The more variety the better and it will only benefit the game. The last thing I want is to play as a team that might have maybe 1 Player ID'd and my opponents have say 5 or 6 and they slaughter me because of it.

Aswell as the usual buch of players with ID KONAMI have shown, Onlyproevo hinted Kagawa, Hazard and Reina would get this treatment too.

If Reina gets it, then it'll probably be that he is prone to catching the ball as he always spills it

I'd love to see Felliani in, I think most fans could think of at least one player from the club they support, that has individual qualitys. Hopefully in the future (as Adam or Alan mentioned in the podcast) every team will get at least one, and they won't just spread them through the best sides. I think this may also encourage people to play with varied teams online.

A future development could be a system that creates random players (face, body and stats) plus random mixed moves picked up from a database of thousands of dribbling, ball control, tackling and running, different animations.
Personal player ID is for those real player that have particular ways of moving and interact with the ball. Better if these particular moves are a result, or the cause, of their skills.

Btw, one thing that must be preserved and even improved is how each player is clearly different, and feels different, from other players, due to the mix of physical and technical attributes. There are infinite combos of height, weight, jumping ability, speed, acceleration and technical stats, and PES is the only game that makes you feel how each player is different, even when there's only a slight difference. But it still makes you feel and see that difference.

The Player ID will have to be given to players who have a unique move/style that no other has. Yes every player in the world has his unique style. But if you take Neymar or Ronaldo, they have to difference in them that makes them stand out. Robinho's famous step-overs is another example. In the last video that came out, they have shown many examples, Iniesta for example. Messi's shooting too is another. So even if we would like to see as many players as possible, the truth is that there are not many players out there that stand out due to their unique way of doing things.

This. Player ID should be given to players who have unique way of performin g different moves on offense and on defense, and are not necessarily the best...

I expect several goalkeepers like Buffon and Casillas to have it too.

I'm hoping they pay more attention to customising goalkeepers this time. A bit like EA do with Hockey, there are different styles of goalkeeping and it would be cool to see this reflected in the game.

David De Gea has a signature save where he fists the ball over the bar, but brings his arm up and across his head as he punches.

Manuel Neuer favours the "Schmeichel" handball goalkeeping style, when he comes out he spreads his arms and legs in a star jump shape"

Casillas often saves with his feet, rather than his hands. Other keepers will hang back on their line, rather than racing forward - some do the opposite.

Some keepers like physical contact, some don't - so De Gea for example won't come for every cross.

Because it's a little silly in my opinion to make the outfield players move like their real life counterparts - yet have every goalkeeper react exactly the same as the others. Then also you could use keepers' real weaknesses against them, for example loading crosses into the box and getting your strikers in the keepers' space. Or knowing that a keeper races off his line, and then chipping the ball over him.

(re the above list I posteD) That is the official list from wikipedia. Adam will certainly say you can't trust it, but I don't know, this list is pretty legit. I don't know exactly where it came from but I wouldn't be at all surprised if this IS the list. I would assume it's the final list. That said the Brazilian league and Argentine league would be official, and the release date will be SEPT 14th, though I think all this depends on when they can lock these licenses. I believe that's more what could hold up an earlier release.

Beating FIFA to stores would be very smart.

this is just a really great game. The engine is tired and lacking but they worked so much magic in the gameplay area that I can certainly enjoy this for a year until Fox Engine.

If that Player ID list is legit, then I'm baffled at how Chamberlain isn't on there since it showed his dribbling animation and his celebration. Also, I'm sure Boateng and Carroll have it too

@Shyheim, I agree. I think we can speculate all we want but in the end I'm sure the next couple weeks will bring confirmation on several of the things I'm waiting on: official Brazil and Argentine leagues, release date and whose got PLAYER ID. We'll see. Either way, the game is great. I'm excited.
