I expect the videos from E3 will be cut in a certain way that don't show the game playing out naturally. We need to get the game in your hands ASAP.

I'm working on it, looking good

Sounds good dude, having a early demo would be sweet (just hope microsoft/konami don't forget us xbox 360 owners like last summer with demo 1 :( )

I can't wait till tomo for the embargo to FINALLY end. LOL!! :D

I would love to see some gameplay footage tomorrow, but I know it is too soon for videos and I will have to wait till E3. Hopefully, we will find out tomorrow if copa teams can now play against European teams now (Fingers crossed) or not and if there were any new licenses on show in Brazil.

ROLL ON TOMORROW!!! :P

i expect demos to be like last year. i think we should get ONE demo.

last year i cant beleive how much grief and total shittyness that came out of it. people complained and cried. over both versions.

one demo, which represents the game .. until retail.

AND E3 videos....hit and miss.

I disagree slightly.

2 demo idea was good, it was implemented poorly. They were too close together, and we all know about the Xbox issues.

I want 2 demos this year, only because I want the game to be played by the fans as early as possible. Then we can feedback on what we think, then a second demo much closer to release showing the improvements.

Thats my dream.

so how early would you want/expect. the first demo ? july ? end of june would be best.
IT was august last year that we had the first demo.

early demo would be nice. That pic is ugly and there is no lying about it. If i hadn't played pes and knew how the game, i would be immediately turned off by those visuals. The first 3 things people notice when people pick a game to play: visuals, animation and responsiveness. Pes only has 1 on those things going for it. I still can't comprehend how they can be struggling with the visuals especially when Asian devs are well known for their ability to create extravagant graphics. I had to switch from ps3 a couple of years ago because the jaggies were so bad, it was burning my eyes  . In all seriousness, since i switched to pc, there has been no looking back. I wasn't expecting a graphics overhaul but it needs to look sharp.

Another overreaction for your good self.

Theres no way anyone would be turned off by those visuals if they hadn't seen PES before. Not only is super accurate on player likeliness and kit accuracy, it's far better looking than FIFA 13 from this close in.

With the 2 demo's, isn't there another chance of repeating the mistakes from last year- where the vocal minority feedback and ruin the game for the majority. I just hope the PES team sticks to their vision/philosphy this year even after the feedback and doesn't try to incorporate all the suggestions which could negatively impact the gameplay.

Couldnt care less about the graphics, they were decent in pes 2012, even when its not graphics pes should excel in. Im just hoping that gameplay have changed so big it wont even feel slightly like pes 2012.

Full freedom in every aspect of the game is what im hoping for, and physics, strong players should be strong, and fighting, instead of two players standing the exact same place when waiting for a ball.

Well it all depends on whats likely. I can see July being a more obtainable target, but I would love it to be in June.

Right now though still in the planning stage. But you can see from some gut-reaction posting, Konami need to get the game into people's hands as soon as possible.

No one plays with that much zoom. I am talking about the overall game with the lines on the pitch not even being white to the goal posts to the jaggies to low res grass textures(pes 2012) to lack of 3d grass. Even the goal posts have jaggies on them  . I am not talking about the accuracy, i am talking about the cleanliness and how its presented. Finally, i cannot stress the importance of the bolded part  .

That's where dan the man is at right now - waiting for news , waiting for Adam's write up and waiting to see the key game play changes in PES........ let me hashtag that #PES2013.

Catch yas tomorrow this place is goona go nuts
I say let's have the two demos why not, but as long as the feedback is such that will improve the game not make it take a step back

Adam I think ShadowBot overreacted but he did score two good points. In terms of visuals, the glossing of the picture was maybe too obvious. The white color was made brighter, probably a last minute job.

And the jaggies on PS3, I'm not sure which platform you play on, but if it's PS3, I'm sure you'll see where he is coming from. I play PS3 and sometimes the games at night can look pretty bad. My resolve was just to accept that Konami had a bad stat this generation and be tolerant about it.

But I agree, nobody should focus so much on the pictures and be so picky but simply try to enjoy the picture for what it is, a mere picture. I personally enjoyed the picture for what it showed me, or rather from what I saw from it, and that's the new shooting animation.

I dont know why people start to criticize with the first image, you cannot judge a game for an image that stupid for said the least, we have to wait for more info videos and the most important play the game and feel all those changes
people like that are really annoying because adam said long time ago that graphics are like te same with little improves but we are way away from the release and graphics and visual thing get fixed at final I think
the image is released to see the accuracy on CR7 movement thats player ID and the majority of players gonna looks like they look in real matches so common guys dont hate the game for only an image
you are not kids
adam thats a little tease for us I was waiting for something more if Im honest but I guess we gonna have to wait until tomorrow and then friday pre-E3 event what a good days and I have to study a lot but Ill do anything for pes
adam any hints to put on their place haters
saludos de chile.juan tenorio ;)

I know no one plays that close, but you're judging the screen as it is, right?

You keep laughing all you want at your bolded part, I know I am. Maybe for different reasons.

I am judging the screen at full resolution not the small version. Secondly, i know that screen has been touched up and its not debatable. I already know that on ps3, the game will not have that kind of sharpness. Thirdly, i don't know what makes you feel that your opinion carries more weight than mine especially when we are discussing opinionated issues and not issues of fact. You have acknowledged that the game looks the same so why we even debating this. I respect your decision to disagree with my opinion but i do not share your opinion. BTW, feel free to continue laughing at my post and i'll join you in the laughter but of course for different reasons like you stated above  .

Oh come on dude, you're incredibly insular, and have been been laughed away by others before. This isn't the second time someone has strongly disagreed with your points.

Let me break it down for you, because it seems you've taken it far from what I reacted to. You said the picture looks ugly, and anyone looking at it would be turned off. I said I strongly disagree, as the picture alone looks great.

Then, your next post you start bringing in things that aren't even in the picture, like goal posts.

Why?

I completely agree that PES looks poor in gameplay, I've been saying it for longer you've been a member of the boards. But my point was that the picture alone is a great picture, and wouldn't put people off.

We know the engine limitations but we can dream with graphics, lighting effects & colours similar of PES 2010 in game's default camera ??
