Very debatable.

Not even. For me La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga are better. I watch all 3 and the standard of football is much much better!

Sure Bilbao gave man utd a lesson home and away in the europa league and they finished 10th in la liga.

Nothing annoys me more quickly than the omnipresent, self-conceited, English talk about the BPL. This "There is the BPL, Real Madrid, FCB and the etceteras" mentality is so wrong.

Yes, officially the league has accumulated enough points to be rank 1 in the league rankings, but English clubs and/or national team have proven nothing during the past few years in terms of title. Yes the league in itself has a lot of suspens, but that's where it stops. I have no problem with that way of thinking as it's completely true. But when I see Englishmen underestimate another club just because it's not English? Come on guys.

Mathematically speaking, PES 2013 is like PES 5 and PES 2008.

@Rach08

nice read mate 8-) , Think i'll start an ML campaign later on this week, i just need to get used to the idea of not playing against other people, which is my preference to tell the truth, but MLO is starting to really do my head in so it's time for a change methinks :)

Mate. You will enjoy it. Rach08 has the right idea. I play my master league on the ps3 but I hijacked my nephew's copy of Pes for the xbox and I am going to start a master league on that also. The game looks better slightly on xbox. Less jaggies.

Loving it mate. Started again though and now mid way through first season.

Sold of a few players Im not that fond of and trying to get rid of more. I brought in Gyan Asamoah, Milan Jovanović and Carew. When fit and condition is good my team would line up like this:

.............................Forster..................................

Matthews......Big Dan....Rogne......Charlie Bhoy

........Forrest.........Brown.......Kayal

Hooper.................Carew.............Gyan Asamoah

I was playing on Top Player in first attempt at Master League as I always do but then got fed up with every free kick etc from the AI going in and knocked it down to Professional. I was enjoying that more but felt like it wasnt hitting me hard enough. A read somewhere that SuperStar level was the way to go because it was more tactical and the AI and you dont seem cheated like on Top Player level. So this is why I started again. I cranked it up to Superstar and started with Celtic's real team in the english premiership. I have Daymos' V3 Option File and everything looks superb.

I love the game!!! Superstar level for me is insanely good. End to end games that are so enjoyable with some breath-taking moments in there. I dont feel cheated and the game feels more open that on Top Player. The opponent AI for me is more diversive in its play and they dont park the bus at the back.

When starting in the top division the game put me into the Europa League like Celtic were this season. My group included Paços de Ferreira of Portugal, Marseille and FC Salzburg. It went to the last game of the group, I needed to win and marseille to draw or lose. I won my game 2-1 against Salzburg but Marseille beat Paços de Ferreira 2-0 to top the group and I finished 3rd :(

The board want me to finish in a Champs League spot in my first season lol. At the end of January I am currently 8th. 17 points of the lead but only 6 points of 4th! In my last game, quarter final of FA Cup I was 2 nil down against Bolton but fought my way back and dramatically scored an equaliser in the 83rd min and the winner in the 88th  I nearly leapt off the sofa in delight  I now have a semi final against Chelsea.

In the January window I got rid of a few players like Mark Wilson, Rasmussen, Carew, Cha Du Ri and Milan Jovanović (took the huff and stayed on a purple arrow because he was left out of a few games. I brought Aiden McGeady back to Paradise as well as Munitis and Kerzakov of Zenit Saint Petersburg. McGeady is great on the ball. My starting 3 is now McGeady (LWF) Kerzakov/Hooper (CF) and Asamoah (RWF).

Get it started Thombhoy, you will not be disappointed.

Was a fun read. Hope yr ML exploits keep going well.

I'm really happy that konami are slowing the pace of the game down this year as
it's too fast at the mo IMO, i've actually suffered a headache in the past after constantly being paired up against the speed teamstylers :|

Cant you see slowing down overall speed could kill some excitement. The game now is to fast, But i fear they slow it down in a way so you wont see the game suddenly change pace. An explosive counter would just be dull to look at i fear.

I'm pretty sure you could still have plenty of excitement while playing with a slower
pace to the game, I know what your saying mate and hopefully konami wont slow the
pace of the game down too much, I suppose that's a question we can ask adam once the embargo is lifted 8-)

Sorry I have been quiet of late gentlemen but I was away for a few days on the Isle of Bute where Wi-Fi is claimed to exist but not actually apparent in my experience. Still, sometimes it is good to get away from the net for a spell.

Probably the longest post Juan has ever written. :D

I think we're all on tenterhooks when it comes to PES news (or the lack of it). Even my recently-calmed self is getting a bit impatient.

a lot of leyends are saying goodbye this season
and a lot of movement is expected in terms of signs of players
hopefully konami improved faces of young players and new players in different teams, for example falcao, vidal, pitbull medel, james rodriguez and a lot of players that not had a preset face in the game hopefully konami put a lot of emphasis on this
I cant wait for the news and tomorrow gonna see what is preparing EA even when I dont play any fifa because for me they all are boring
