Guys I love this place although I dont always log on and post but always read.

Individuality is back! This is probably the main reason why Pes is our game. Realism and accuracy of the sport is what I crave and the Pes series has taking gaming as closer to the sport than any other. Individuality is what keeps the brain ticking while playing and any decision made by the player with this in mind is so rewarding when it comes off ie passing to Robbin to run down the wing, or tackle lavezzi with de Rossi or pass short to Pirlo to create some magic.

Great work by the Wenb team- really hoping your tireless working pays off further this year.

Really excited.

Thanks, but seriously, 100%, this is a community effort. PES 2013 is built from feedback collated from all the various PES forums across the web (you can thank Alan for wandering through them and grabbing impressions!), not just here at WENB. Most of the team's work was in line with the new engine, so with that being put back, this game is focused on responding to everyones concerns.

So if PES 2013 is a cracker that it's certainly shaping up to be, then you're all the reason for it being so.

Just to show im not talking thru my ass with the "tape down LT" method heres a goal I just scored. this is an O pass with manual applied. Second part of the clip you can clearly see that i pass it into the space and Im in full control of Ronaldo (yes hes back at United!) .....the picture is how my contoller looks LOL

Ps sorry for slowdown Fraps was acting up.

PPS this is on Superstar in ML, so no " thats on Amateur" comments.

Sacking Seabass doesn't look to have been the smartest decision in retrospect.

Sorry for my bad English......Im from Newry

HATE the magic boot idea, shocking decision. Playing the FIFA13 demo made me realize how good the PES gameplay is

Yeah I use the LT Thing too, scored some very nice goals from moves off using that.

For me it's a huge part of PES. I mean, I've always loved PES & that's enough to keep me interested but I really don't know any other game that has so much input from the people who play it. + For me there's no other game that has such a buzz around the build up either, there literally is no other actually, CoD has reveal days and stuff and always finding new info but not like PES.

Imagine this place when the demo hits. Either we'll rape F5 or that little circle (Firefox) at the and of the address bar, and we still won't get all of it.

With boosted GK's, this should go away. I've scored countless 1 on 1 goals using passing instead of shooting. Shooting is way to unreliable in 2012 and GK's were bellow par, every single time.

Adam I appreciate it is a community effort but this place provides the forum for opinions and furthermore perks us fans up between releases with intelligent editorials that stimulate thought and help provide a platform for people's thoughts. No stone is left unturned - I sometimes wonder how Alan comes up with the topics for discussion that he does.

This community has great ideas[continuous play] and has many sensible, honourable members with pes at heart and I'm glad this resource is here to help konami shape the game.

Really happy tonight I can't stop feeling that a massive corner has been turned!

I'll give you credit, but for the long ball to Ronaldo. Scoring with the modifier is not new to me, so no credit there.

Sorry, mate. But I've used all sorts of patches and none remedied the L2 and X or O for scoring. I've used this approach from all over, one on ones, inside the box, outside the box, left side, right side, you name it. Either the ball went in on it's own or one of my players (or opponents) tapped it in.

Reason? GK's in 2012 don't respond to the ball but to situations. Think about those situations where you hit SQUARE and your striker slides to make the shot. BUT HE MISSES THE BALL. The GK still reacts as if the ball has been hit. He responds to control input rather then the situation on the pitch.

If your control input is X, GK will respond to the ball if it's a bare necessity and he'll do it at the very last moment. Mostly, he'll just perform a ridiculous animation like the one on your video did. That is no way to defend a one on one against a striker who's boxed in from both sides and can't maneuver around the GK. The GK should have made himself big. The shot/pass wasn't that strong for him not to react to it. In other words, he should have done better.

Again, credit for the pass, it's a thing of beauty. But the goal is nothing unseen. Hopefully, chipping the GK, especially when you're under pressure, will become increasingly hard to do in 2013. Too many cheap goals come from it.

Thanks again mate.

And to your last line. Big corner.

OK it's true, everyone knows I wear my heart on my sleeve, and pretty much post what I feel at that given time. You saw me being very deflated once news of the new engine being put back reached me, and this feeling of limbo was transparent to the users.

But a HUGE corner has been turned. PES does that to you though, and some people may demand more levelled headed approach through launch, and I do always try. I've certainly learned from the preview build to final code issues, and will make that a key point once you all play it and give focused feedback, but at the same time I'm one of you guys. Sure I run WENB, but I'm not Konami staff, I don't earn money from this. PES is a passion, and I guess because of that I'll always fall down here and there.

While some have lost that enthusiasm, I still get a buzz every year in the lead up to launch.

Well, the whole point ive been trying to make is, it is very possible to play passes without scripting and into space. And you gave me credit for that so I guess thats what I was trying to say.........but the points you make about the keeper... I agree 100% man. I was saying "show some love" with a big degree of sarcasm ;)

Getting disappointed from the game and still feel that hype towards launch just shows the love we have for the game and what we would like to get from it. Yes the past years have been a let down, but we all agree that some aspects have been improved while others have left us bamboozled.
