Yeh totally agree. The ball physics have totally changed, and to get a cracker you need loads of time and space, both of which aren't afforded to you on the higher difficulty levels.

Spot on.

When I first had a shot on this, I just could not believe how damn good it felt. Its like night and day compared to PES 2010. You can really hit some thunderbolts now and they feel amazing when they go in. That 2nd Nakamura goal I scored in the video above made me jump out of my seat as it felt so bloody good . The old PS2 PES titles used to do that 8-)

Cheers for the kind words mate.

Totally agree. Back in the days of PES on the PS2 where I went crazy after scoring a cracker of a goal was just a great feeling. We need that back for PES 2011 thats for sure.

yesasia mate. www.yesasia.com

unfortunately its £51 :( free delivery is around 10 working days.

main menu is English, but the rest is Japanese, so is pretty difficult to navigate. But if you've played a lot of PES 2010 you'll find your way around easy enough.

I really need to start up my Japanese lessons again as they would of helped out a great deal with getting around the Japanese language in this game :D

Thanks for the video. It looks like camera mode is much wider than in PES2010. Is it so? And if it is do you feel better experience when playing and seeing much more? Wider camera is something I´ve been longing for PES series long time.

Don't get me wrong, PS2 PES still destroys this game. But I feel Blue Samurai is loads better than PES 2010, mainly because the response time issue is sorted.

£50 is far too much for it though, imo.

yes it is a tad too much for minor tweaks.......i am hooked on the ps2 version at moment.....but winning eleven samurai is gaining ground on the promise that pes 2011 will be much improved....def feel Konami have the chance to lead again providing they sort out the nxt gen daft AI issues which i believe are evident still in Samurai

The biggest praise I can give Blue Samurai, is that its the first PES game for me that 100% rewards you for using the analogue instead of the d-pad.

Might not sound like much, but I'm hardcore d-pad. For me to say that must mean something!

As far as im aware, the wide camera angle is the same as it is in PES 2010. Im about 99% it is. If you check out the link of the video (that takes you straight to the video on YouTube) you can see it better that way rather than viewing the video through the YouTube box type in this thread.

I hope that makes sense.

In my TV-screen it really looked smaller so I checked my PS3 display settings. I changed them to 16:9 even my TV is 4:3. Now I got much larger display area than before, same like yours in the video. If somebody is having 4:3 TV try to change the display settings to 16:9.

thanks gari, enjoyed the vids but lets be serious, USA will be England. Like really, you guys wouldn't have beaten japan if they didn't score on themselves twice.

P.S. Nigeria will Win.

No probs.

We played very poor against Japan but it will be a different England in the World Cup as we always struggle when playing our frendly matches before the tournament starts. Ill be very suprised if we dont beat USA put it that way.

Thanks again for the video, I have to admit now I can see the improvement in animation, it's a bit more smooth and varied than in PES 2010 but the collisions are still just as bad.

What disapoints me is that both goals happened after absolutely idiotic decision of the defense-AI. Shortly before the first goal the goalkeeper lets the ball drop into the middle instead of to his left which is imho unexplicable, shortly before the second goal the defender heads the ball into the middle instead of to his right and of course the ball lands right in front of an attacker.

I really hope that for PES 2011 the AI will be improved a thousands time.

So all in all, the Samurai version is an improvement compared to PES 2010 but only a slight improvement, the players still run and move very stiff, that it feels so unorganic.

If animation, collisions and AI are improved a thousand times in PES 2011 I'm excited.

More than slight.

For the millionth time, seeing as you have selective hearing, videos don't do the game justice.

I'll take your word for it, but the dumb AI can be clearly seen in the videos, don't you agree?

Yeh sure, but there's so many things you're missing from just watching a video. Everyone here who has the game has told you how much better it is than PES 2010, yet you choose to ignore everyones views, and make your own from a video.

See the wrong in there?
