So Rutters spiel always makes me think, hmm FIFA could be a good choice this year, and every year i get stung and 2 weeks of playing and i'm bored. Same old bugs, same old boring gameplay same old repetitive nature.

I think I will try and steer clear of FIFA news this year then rent it. That way i won't get sucked in by the "new features" and then realise they're 1% of what was promised when i play.

Other Enhancements
In addition to the five major improvements to FIFA 13, there is obviously much more improved in the game. An improvement, where members of FIFA Benelux were looking forward to is the fact that the referees in the latest installment of the FIFA series smarter will be. Several types are passed to the game added so that a player reacts to how a smarter opponent. Defenders in FIFA 13 will be smarter if the ball almost on the side or rear line rolls the ball so they will foreclose an opponent. Also, new animations for cheer after a goal, shooting and the goalkeeper is not missing. Finally we got a very nice surprise from one of the movies, when we suddenly three men in addition to the sidelines saw stand. Were this the linesman with the coaches of both teams, players who are ready for a change or to warm up? We will continue to experience in the future.

These were until now the gameplay improvements to FIFA 13 that we could name, but of course the coming months there will be much more known about the game, which is expected this autumn. FIFA13 sounds really promising.New AI,better dribbling system and first touch control ,those are on the top of my list to make fifa a better game.Those were the areas ,it needs better mechanics and more dynamic .Can't really wait to see it in action and try the demo.This year fifa are working on more football basics which I like.Those are the words that sounds like music to my ears.

There is now genuine separation between control touches and the ball itself, the ball is no longer “glued” to the players feet.

First Touch Control creates genuine risk when taking a touch in a difficult situation. As a defender especially you’ll need to decide when to clear and when to take a touch. EA want the system to make you think more like a real footballer.

Awareness of who is expected to recieve the ball next works with the new run types, allowing players to make concise runs into useful areas even if they aren’t directly involved in the play at that moment.

Better dynamic gameplay

Fatigue will be a factor with attacking AI. Particularly short term fatigue.&Attributes will be considered when calculating player movement.

More individuality

FIFA 13 example shown of Cristiano Ronaldo taking on a defender on the left wing towards the corner flag. Being faced up to the defender allows him to slide right, then drop his shoulder and shift left quickly and round the defender just by dribbling and putting in a change of pace.

If that means a better inertia and wrong footing players ,we are in for a treat


Sure ,that doesn't mean perfection but it means they know what's wrong with their game and what needs improving.Some problems will be there and that's the price of yearly based releases.Overall ,I'm really happy now.

Probably the new things, like ronaldos dribble will be available as a context dribble for every player.

Always impressed with FIFA's announcements at Face Value. though saying that no matter how good these gameplay changes may be, without a playable career mode they are pointless. waiting game for me. will keep good interest in this

Nothing mention about the slow passing which is very poor and makes every team plays the same.
