Perhaps..... maybe...... I could produce a small one before Chris does his official one?
I promise I wont be condescending in my posts.... I mean well guys :) Roll on PES 2011 and FIFA 11 :)
PES 2010 is my game of choice at the moment. FIFA 10 has been traded in and WC 2010 the AI simply isnt good enough.

This is great news. I have really missed fsb's poddys. Looking forward to fifa11 news, especially after the pes news of late which really sounds good. I really hope FIFA steps up to the plate this year because in my opinion I don't think it's progressed as much as we all thought it would after fifa09. They need to produce something that's going to keep me playing beyond release week.

A difficult situation that, improving such a well recieved game like FIFA 09 was. Problem is it was the bug fest that ruined FIFA 10's chances of bettering FIFA 09 in the community's eyes.

There's a good game under all those hideous bugs and double pressure. I've had some epic games on FIFA10, only to be ruined by the aforementioned.

Look forward to the poddy lads.

Guys listen up!

Suff and Chris will being doing a podcast towards the end of the week/weekend, and would like any questions.

Remember Chris only got to see the gameplay elements, so pick your questions wisely. Read his write-up on the front page, then if you have any more questions feel free to pop them in here and he'll answer them.

Thanks!

Question about the goalkeepers:
Do the new system, where they go by the ball trajectory, mean that they can misread it so that the ball doesn't always hit perfect on their hands? So it could be more like in PES, where the ball might be deflected anywhere (fully dynamic) by the keeper depending on how well he get to the ball? Because currently you pretty much know what will happen when the keeper save animation starts.

Question about dribbling:
Now with the emphasis on personality, does it mean that not only the amount of touches is different, but also the preferred foot is used more? For example Messi usually takes his touches with the left foot as often as he can. Did you see any difference in this?

Question about more players being able to go for the ball:
What's your take on how this changed the game? Does it feel more chaotic when a ball gets hoofed in to the penalty area? For example, could you feel that 3-4 defenders in the box had an advantage against a sole attacker like in real life? Because in previous FIFA's it didn't matter if you outnumbered the opposition, since there would always be 1 vs 1 challenges only while the rest just stood around watching.

Question about manual passing:
Not sure what Chris' settings are, but if he did try manual passing, are they also more stat based this time around? Do the "Pro Passing" also apply to the manual passes in some degree or do they still go exactly where you point the stick? It would be nice to be able to AIM manually, but that the result is stat based with all this personality and pro passing stuff.

Any changes to the fatigue system or could you still sprint without much negative effect on the player?

Does the new Personality+ effect the way the game plays that much?

How did shooting feel in the build you played? Any new animations? (Long range shots start to look samey too quick with the recent fifa's)

Did you think there will be a big enough difference between say a scholes and Carrick on the field?

How much does the AI do for you in terms of defending and attacking (runs, player positioning).?

Welcome back our good friend Chris Davies to your FSB home, hope you enjoy a good time in Canada with Developing Team...

I'm so afraid about FIFA 11's Gameplay Speed, can you explain how did you feel it compare to FIFA 10 & 2010 FIFA WC?
