FSB Podcast Discussion

Postby Chris Davies » Sun Mar 15, 2009 10:07 pm

Hi guys, just starting a thread you can use for all future podcast discussions. :)

This week's podcast (CLICK HERE TO LISTEN) asks:
What do you love/hate about FIFA 09? What do you want to see in FIFA 10?

As always we will read the forums between podcasts and all the best discussions will be given a mention, so if you have anything to say on the subject please let us know. If you agree with us, disagree with us, want to correct us on something, or want to add something that's important, tell us and listen out for a mention next time.

Thanks guys!

I agree with some of the things you said very nice podcast.

I always wanted the thing you mentioned doc about a must win match were the other team are playing, like when they score you should see like the do on TV example Chelsea 1-0 Liverpool should pop up at the top right corner of your screen and like you said maybe the commentator should mention it aswell adding to the pressure for you to win.

Also one thing i noticed i think it was in previous versions is those information boards you know they pop up now and again stating how much possession a team had or how many throws have been taken. I don't know about you guys but to me it adds to the game.

Sorry about the technical issues there guys; I updated the file so that it had some tags (to prevent other sites from stealing it and claiming it as their own), but didn't realise the links needed updating as well. Everything is fixed now so comment away!

(Nani, you made a double-post before (about transfers being too easy) and when I tried to delete the double, it deleted both posts... I apologise, don't think we've got something against you! I even agreed with your point!)

Great Podcast so far, not finished yet

About the headers, i'm completely the opposite of you. In the first season of my Sampdoria MM game, Cassano scored something like 17 goals, i'd say 10 easily were headers and the same with Pazzini the next season, he scored a good few headers. Although he scored more 1 on 1's than headers

Maybe i'm just lucky :D

Just out of interest how do you do your crosses? Do you run straight and then cross or do you run inside first? And do you get *right* to the byline?

I'll have to try and get some hints and tips off you before the next podcast...

Usually i flick the right analogue stick to kick the ball ahead of the player and get to the byline and cross it.

What controller settings do you use?

Semi everything, bar the ones that only let you have full-manual or full-auto (through-balls and lobs) which are set to auto.

I run in a straight line down the side of the box then cross, but it always seems to go to the wrong man; and if I put the crossing on auto it goes to someone who isn't even in the box half the time! Hmmm...
