This is indeed excellent news, and deserved i think. Manual players have found their voice this year.

I understand and agree with many of Garys points in that thread, but i still think EA need to encourage people to try that control scheme, not push them, as he suggests, but encourage.

Manual controls arent everyones cup of tea, but many people try it and never look back.

You're right Tom, EA should encourage everyone to try Manual because it bring us the Real Football experience, since I became a Manual player I couldn't even look at Semi ;)

Can someone tell me if i play manual passing and shotting, most of the player attributes ( the accuraçy ones ) dont count ?

I mean manual is good as we can pass and shoot wherever we want but, wouldn´t it take us the individuality of players? I mean if you perfect the manual passing in a way you hit lets say 90% of your passes right, wont that put the game in a level where all the player as Xavis or Fabregas, or sjneider´s?

Certain players will still be better than others, no matter how much you perfect you'r game.

It doesn't work that way. Let's have a look at..say passing. Of course everything else works the same way.

Assisted: You press the pass button and the game will then try to make a perfect pass to him. Depending on his skill error is than added.

Manual: You press pass and choose where to try to aim. Depending on his skill error is then added on to that.

Isn't that Sem-manual. Anyways Ive seen some ridiculous goals with average players some centre backs with manual controls, completely lacks individuality. But I feel the additions to Fifa 11 will help improve this area.

No, that's manual. However, error depending on player skill has been very little in earlier games, which will be corrected for FIFA11. The point is that manual does not differ from assisted or semi when it comes to skill based error.

So of course in earlier games you've seen some way to accurate passing with manual..but not any more than with assisted.

Sorry man no news yet :( I know the first batch of videos didn't get past the EA powers that be, hence the delay. IF the latest release of the gameplay videos gets approval then hopefully we'll see something early this next week.

About the audio and personality+ Rutter said: " I think this year the biggest part of the new commentary has come about in support of the Personality Plus feature again. If you're playing with a skilled dribbler it will let you know, if you're playing with a strong defensive midfielder it will let you know.."

Thanks dude, that makes sense. Just wonder how the Menus are going to come into it?

Also wondering how the commentary will tell you? Maybe we will get more calls like "Tevez, with his bulldog like approach"

Great screenshot of Valentin Stocker (Basel) - He will be the cover of the Swiss version of FIFA 11.

Its really good to see EA are trying to get official player faces in all the leagues

I think 'Personality +' won't be limited to just player attributes, i.e. stats for running, skill, control, etc. From what I've seen so far, it'll be an all-encompassing feature that will 'affect' all aspects of FIFA11 allowing us to finely tune the game according to our tastes, in the hope that each individual will 'set-up' the game how he or she prefers.

I was under the illusion it was purely a method for introducing the much-demanded individuality into FIFA, but they seem to have expanded its role so that - if you'll excuse the pun - we can inject our personalities into the game. It'll be great to see it in action.

^^^ I just re-read my above post, and it seems like I'm stating the obvious. Also, I couldn't edit my first post hence this second post. Sorry...

Honestly, I'm excited about FIFA11. I'd just like to see clear, definitive videos which show the difference between a player like Rooney and Sami Hyypia - not just their respective speed or anything like that. The tech, wire-frame videos were cool but its time for more.

I'm tossing up weather or not to put this up on the blog, its all in russian but its a nice 11 min video of the FIFA 11 tour of Russia, with a very good interview of the PC producer for FIFA 11.

2 things i picked up from trying to hear the english in the interview was that you can buy FIFA 11 PC 2 ways: 1. From a store like every other game and 2. Online as a downloaded version.

Also heard him say that the PC version could be modded, not sure if he meant it will be supported or if it was possible.

Im sure he means modded by editing just like the PES Community have been doing to there game. And for them to mention that, i think they will support them. But to what length though? With all the licenses and stuff, but should be a problem though, as PES has been modded to death even the licensed teams.
