There is a major bug within the world cup tournament. Teams that are getting knocked out in the group games (finals) are still somehow being put into the round of 16. It happens all the time and really needs fixing. A real dent in the atmosphere of the whole game. Why do EA miss these type of bugs? Its beyond me and i cant see Fifa11 to be any different.

yeah thats the goal difference bug, i think EA know about this one.

I just dont understand why they dont let us have all the boots and balls that are in the game? Even the old boots are still in the game, i dont know why but they have the Nike Superfly 2 in the blackout color? They make boot colorways just for the fun of the game editors? Seems very weird.

The ball situation is the worst, you cant play with anything other than the nations home branded ball or the jubalani ?

No, sorry to disappoint you. This is the ball that smaller Nike-wearing teams use. At least untill last month. For instance Belgium plays with it and PSV Eindhoven.

The EPL, Primera Dividision and Serie A are sponsored leagues in which every team has to use a Nike ball. That one changes every year, not the "occasional" Nike-ball playing teams' ball.

I finished a WC with Nigeria over the weekend, and Obasi went through 4 different boots throught the whole tournament! lol

Only noticed as it went from white, to yellow, to red, to gold pumas match to match!

Same thing happened to me twice. Once with Alvaro Perreira (Uruguay) and Peter Crouch (England). Don't know why. Probably a bug...

Long time reader, first time poster! This game is even worse than FIFA 10 for crashing with me. FIFA 10 used to often crash whenever I played 2 player matches (I heard something saying that it might be because we change the controller configs) anyway I have the same problem on world cup 2010 on occasion but now my ps3 is also crashing sometimes on the 1 player modes now too. I only bought the world cup game because fifa 10 was unplayable in 2 player mode and now I have the same problem with WC 2010. Anyone else have these problems?! It's the only game that ever crashes on my ps3 and I think it's ridiculous that such a great game is spoiled in this way. FIFA 10 converted me from being a pro evo fan since 1998 but the bugs are doing my head in!! Any ideas guys?!

Mine has crashed on me a few times as well. When will EA ever bring out a fifa game that has gone through the proper testing procedures. The game is also starting to frustrate me now. Its way to quick especially online.

I thought mine was going to crash today, it went black before showing the replay for like 30 seconds then as the World Cup logo flew across my screen it froze in the middle for another 30 seconds then once again for another 30 seconds when showing the replay.

Have been playing online WC and in the group stages, 3 or the 4 teams ended up with 6 points. How can that happen! Was well gutted as i ended in third and went out on goal difference.

Quite easy actually, 3 teams win 2 games and the other one is the whipping boy

For example...

England beat USA - England have 3 points
Slovenia beat Algeria - Slovenia have 3 points
USA beat Slovenia - USA have 3 points
England beat Algeria - England have 6 points
USA beat Algeria - USA have 6 points
Slovenia beat England - Slovenia have 6 points

Then, as you say, goal difference is key

Anyone else having any freezing issues after downloading the 2010 WC scenarios?

I've downloaded them as well and I have the same problem, the game freezes.

I cannot even get into the main menu. Blimin EA, can they not find proper testers.

I strongly reccomend noone downloads the new scenarios.

They are claiming you need to have downloaded the latest squad update and thats why it "hangs" as they call it.

But I have the latest squad update and mine froze 3 times in a row the other night?

Im really getting frustrated with how many times i have to load this game to get in now that the scenarios keep freezing it on the loading screen.
