Live Season Now Free?

Yes I know the season has ended but it seems that EA are being generous and giving away something for nothing so I figured I couldn't let it pass without a mention. Also I couldn't remember my login for Wordpress or this would be on the main page.

I digress...

For those on the 360 go to Game Marketplace > Explore Game Content > Game Add-ons > Browse and go to F for FIFA 09 then go across to Live Season All Leagues Pack which you will see is for free.

I don't know what kind of effect it will have on the players what with there being no games going on right now but it appears that this is the last update that EA will be doing with Live Season for FIFA 09 so grab it while you can!

I wonder if any changes are going to be made for Live Season (fifa10). I used LS (premier league only) but it did start to piss me off towards the end. I thought the form was to harsh on some players. And because Arsenal had some long term injuries, Walcott, Rosicky, and Eduardo to name but a few, the team suffered more than most.

Used it once, but as I'm a big MM player through the full 15 seasons (unless i'm sacked ) It's all but pointless...

on the blog post it says "it appears the marketplace guys have made a mistake", surely them making it free was the correct thing to do rather than have people buying a product which no longer exists, some people would still buy ALS due to lack of knowledge on how it works and by them making the price zero it is protecting these people from wasting their money. I can't see how E are giving something for nothing because they updates no longer occur.

Because the item should have been deleted, not made available for free.

Otherwise everybody does what CW did - oh look, free stuff, that's cool!

But it's a bunch of empty files so there's no point in anybody downloading them...
