It should be able to set yourself, somene use right analog to manual passing. I want still have this possibility.

I love the idea the RS could be used to control " the foot, " however lets NOT make IT Identicle to " FIFA " because in my opinion It becomes way to complicated and every player on Fifa seem to be able to do the same skill.

I suggest Konami allow us to use the RS to do step overs etc, but make it so we can save a trick or a combination of tricks to a button if we liked.Do it so Messi, Ronaldo ( highly skilled players ) can perform almost any trick but lesser skilled players couldn't. I would hate to see Vidic doing the flip flap in game

Also the speed at which players can perform step overs should show. eg Ronaldo etc can do this at high speed and therefor it should show graphically.

I watched the intro video to Pes 2011 and when I saw Ronaldo knock the ball from inside left to inside right foot simultaneously and then flick the ball over his head, i could not help but notice the flick was NOT smooth and convincing enough and the inside left etc needs to be more fast paced as he does in real life. Please address this in the final build.

I wanted the tricks system to be more realistic (in terms of executing), but Konami have planned the other way. They made it super simple with the " LINK feints". This is not freedom. I fear they are taking 2 steps backward regarding the players' on-the-ball skills and touches.

Lets see how the new system works.
IMO, the new system gives the user only one parameter to control, that is the timing. But I wanted timing + User's skill on the joystick to pull out a trick.

Have you played the game? I don't think so, looking at your post. If you read all the previews, I think that no one said that you can abuse the tricksystem. On the contrary, you have to time the tricks right and anyone can defend against them.
In addition, you don't have to use the tricks if you don't like them /think of them they'll destroy your game.
I haven't played the game (yet, 10 days left), but I will test the trick system and tell you if it is unrealistic.
But I don't think so.

No i haven't played PES 2011. I can only talk about the videos i have seen so far. In pretty much all of them the trick linking thing is a big deal. How many times playing previous PES games have you seen players do so many tricks in a row? Hm?

The people that will exploit any flaws in PES are the people that play the game online for hours and hours. Not people who played the game just a little bit to see how it is against the computer. Some flaws are more difficult to figure out like the one in PES 2008 with players that have good shot power you can score from mid field cuz your keeper is outside the box.... the trick system in PES is something much easier to figure out. It will become natural for the people that play the game a lot and every time they get close to the box with Robben, Ronaldo, Messi... ect they will do 3 tricks on you.

You people in this site are pretty defensive when someone mentions something bad about PES. I guess because PES has been crap for the past 4 years? I hope i'm wrong and PES 2011 turns out to be the best game ever... but until i see for my self i can only look for flaws.

The statement in bold? That's just wrong. And I'll leave it with that.

But I see where you're coming from and can definitely understand your worries. That's why I hope the tricksystem to be rocksolid and flawless. You know, the videos don't do the game any justice, nearly everyone said it.
So it might be much more difficult to perform those tricks timed rightly and successfully.

We'll see, only 7 days left until gamescom.

Changing player on this year's pes is immensely frustrating, you can try for ages to get the player you want without success. I can't think why it has been changed, I assume something to do with the new tackling/passing system? Anyway, please please please put it back to the way it was at the very least. Or, even better, have the right stick able to change player with a flick in the direction of the player you want. I think fifa has/had this, I know I have played a football game that has anyway, it worked very well and would allow a lot more freedom when defending.

Failing a new feature being implemented, just FIX THE CHANGE PLAYER! I can't even begin to convey how annoying my friends and I have found this. Just put it back to how it was! PLEASE!

I think PES 2011 is on the right direction that needs further improvements, additions and fix with the Gameplay especially.
