PES 2011 Wish-lists: Online

I´d like to see a better, easier and intuitive way to find the matches... PES 6 on X360 had a easy menus to find the games.. Improve even more the smoothness of the game online, you have to think that in some european countries the online conections are not the same as Japan or USA.... and mostly people are playing with 1MB (download), or 3 MB (download) internet conections...
I´d like, you could improve the 2 vs 2 games, changing members of the team without to exit from the room.

- rematch.

- champions league single match.

- champions league match over two legs, with the away goal rule, extra time etc.

DEDICATED SERVERS please!

As mentioned before, there is improvement in on-line, but still a load of very laggy games, especially in quick-search mode.

Dedicated servers are not so vulnerable for mediocre on-line connections as all is corrected by the dedicated servers.
Just watch FIFA. No real lag overthere.
Remember that in todays computergaming on-line is a VERY important mode, if not the most important one.
That should be flawless. If on-line is not good, you miss a lot of buyers!

Hello, i'm french and then sorry for my very bad english.

I want to say that i play pes or iss since 1993, then i will a very old fan ^^
PES' Online has never worked correctly since PES6:
Remember:
- Lags and bugs at X.00 and 0X.05
- Ugly online on PES 2008
- Lags and téléportations on PES 2009
- AMD / Intel bug on PES 2010

The first thing will be to stop these problems.

Then il will be important that the online will be not only for competitions 1v1.

The Groups Mode from PES 6 has been the very better mode online from all the PES. By playing in collaboration with friend, the game would be more excellent!
Why don't we have on PES 2011 intercommunities matchs and a ranking of these communities?

Why can't we create competitions 2v2 in community? Why can't we create all forms of competitions in the community? ( not only league!)

We need a online which proposes evolution ( master league online, ranking teams like PES6, evolutive legend online like nba2k10 mode) and collaboration ( teams and matchs 2v2 with 4 PC or consoles not only friendly!)

Why not mini-games like free-kick shoots, or others... online!

GK manual online too!!!! Please!

I apologize in advance for probably mentioning alot of stuff brought up by previous posters, but I just tried to play an online game in PES2010 and I feel I just have to write my head off about it...

Online play is the worst, again. I used to be an avid PES-player, one would even call me a fanatic. But these days I find myself playing less and less, simply because of me loving playing online and the game sucking at just that.

Why, Konami, can't you fix this? Why? I'm a sports fan in general and play alot of sports games from various publishers, and I will use EA:s NHL-series as a reference in this post. Been playing loads of NHL10 the last few months, especially online, and have yet to play more than ONE game with lag. Every other game has been flawless, just like playing the AI offline. So my question is simple, why can EA do it and not Konami?

I have yet to play one game online in PES2010 that's been lag-free or at least close to it. I have even been forced to turn off the game mid-match, just because it was so unplayable. Delay is the worst problem so far. How can I be expected to enjoy a game where it takes a whole second between pressing the button and the player responding? And how can the newly designed flow of PES show up online when it almost always lags in play?

I absolutely love the PES-series, it's been my favorite game-series since the first ISS-game for the super nintendo. That's why it hurts when I complain about it. There must be some way for Konami to fix, or at least improve, the online experience through DLC? This is as far as I'm concerned about a hundred times more important than ten new pairs of shoes or whatever.

Please, Konami. Do something. I want to love PES again.

This needs to improve vastly!
Make it lag less. Especially make it lag less for players with good connections and not the other way as present in 08,09 and 10
Also if it still lags bad atleast give us the option to quit the match beforehand.
Saying that it stll have no clear way of seeing as beforehand it will say decent or good then red light as soon as kick off begins
The only way i can see a way around this is allowing us someway to quit 20 mins in(match time) whilst scores are even without it counting as a loss. Might work might not

Master league online: it would be the key element for Pes success

Gameplay online similar to off-line. I mean, if you play offline matches are well balanced and player make so much more animations than in online mode. In few words game is extremely simplified in online if compared to offline.
Like i said, make online play like offline.

Not just to bash it. Blind love or faith for the game will not bring it back to its old glory. Positive critics and suggestions, as much as we can, is what can help Konami and the series right now.

To include Sub National Teams of all the countries or most important Countries, Sub 17, Sub 21, Sub 23.

Enable to play fULL real time machs 90 min.+ games.

Not interruptions in the game, i don't want black out screens after a fault ,
everything has to be natural fluid rolling at real time againg whiout a black out screens.

Copa libertadores
(its been confirmed and im glad thanks)

CPU. The coach have to act natural made the Changes adapted to the game
and to the rival, if losing in the game the CPU and it needs to win the game
the coach have to take ricks tacticals and do smart changes, or if is
winning the CPU have to act smart conservative and make his team more defencive,
you got the point, the CPU needs to have more personality.

Analise, study many classic plays and best plays around the world and make sure that this plays are possible to be made in PES11.
Specially study diferent Goal keepers levels plays all the great saves and errors, the perfections and imperfections to create a more natural real PES11.
The basic Thing is to study all the great games and plays and make sure that all this is posible in PES .

Focus the main development on the Playstation, PC and just make ports for others consoles WII, XBOX, PSP, etc.

More fluid, more responsive and fast controls.
Dedicated Servers.

12 Vs. 12 online.

For Online games let us suspend the game we are on it if is lagging, its unfair and mad
to have to finish the game when is lagging. add a vote system and also a penalti system
so player don't abuse this option if they are losing.

Headtracking with fisrt person view camera, yes fp-view could work fine in PES game but only
if we have headtracking (that the PSEYES could do) this way when we are playing the game
we can look around in a very easy way and keep our eyes in the ball and the field in a sec.
with the help of the headtracking option.

Tips.

Create a new game every two years. Sale it at regular price.
example sale PES10 at $60 and don't create a PES11 just focus on PES12.
Gives us PES11 as a DLC update with the new player rosters and kits.
Sale PES10 in the 2011 at $30 or $40 with the 2011 DLC code included in it.
And maybe give us the day 1 owners PES10 buyers a free update for 2011 roster or just sale it
at $5 to $15 dlc 2011 pack. whatever makes KONAMI more happy.

Ban ML and Edited Teams from Ranking Matches

Postby Londonmark » Fri Aug 06, 2010 2:21 pm

Ban the use of ML Teams
I'm not sure how big of a problem this was in the past.

But this year with PES2010 I've come across too many people who use ML teams.

Which gives them an unfair advantage. Because these people use ML all-star teams.

Made up of the likes of Agüero, Villa, Messi, Eto'o, etc, etc, etc,

Ban the use of Edited Teams
I played a guy who picked Toulouse FC. What's the problem you say?

Well this wasn't any old Toulouse FC team. It was a Toulouse FC team that featured the likes of
Villa, Messi, Maicon, A. Cole, etc,

Exactly, the fact that online is still P2P is almost prehistoric. Dedicated servers (so instead of you being a 'host' to which the other connects to, you both connect to a server that sits in the middle) would eliminate lag (the server can test you real connection speed to it and then only connect two players who have a good connection with the server) and eliminate cheating (in respect of user forced "transmission" break ups because the server would know who disconnected, also any other lag based cheat as slowing your own connection to the server would only harm you and not the other person).

But my main wish for online is with respect to competitions, PLEASE put a restiction on the number of players that can choose a certain team!!!! Currently, you may as well call competitions play Barca 12 times in a row with the occasional Real Madrid and Brazil thrown in. Two days ago I got to the last 16 and 15 of those teams wer all Barcalona.

I think if a competition is limited to 100 players the only 10 of those should be able to pick Barca, only 10 should be able to pik Real and so on. You can do it by first come first served or some ranking system but the current unrestricted versions are just silly and makes a mockery of having lost of teams to choose from.
FIFA Soccer by EA Sports, a game where you can take on an entire team with Titus Bramble providing one is proficient enough with the “trick stick”. How realistic...

Automatic 2 game suspension for the best player(s) in the next team the gamer chooses if they get anyone sent off in the current match.

Too often a person has gone 1 - 0 up on me in the past then resorted to a 'last man professional foul' on my player that looked like they were through 1 on 1 with the keeper. They didn't care if they had 4 players sent off in one match because they just keep swapping attackers and midfielders into the CB positions to then get sent off, safe in the knowledge that they would have a full complement of non-suspended players for their next match.
