PES 2011 Wish-lists: Animations
Re: PES 2011 Wish-lists: Animations
Why are people asking for "more animations" or "new animations"????????? This demand is why PES animations suck.
We need a new animation ENGINE. A new engine to generate animations, you know, which was what EA did THREE YEARS AGO.

Yeah, and with these new games, konami looks even worse. If I don't get at least 80% of my wish list, then I won't be impressed, and it's harsh but I'm sick of how it moves and how it plays, INNOVATION BOYS!!!
Next time play Ronaldinho and Pato you useless tool!!!

Re: PES 2011 Wish-lists: Animations
If you improve one aspect radically please make it animations
Half of them are new and half of them are old 1's which you can see the inconsistency between them. What i mean is the transitions between animations is awful at times, with it spazzing out in frames. You need it looking more fluid and organic. Again Im sad to admit EA's borefest is beating you here
Goalkeepers need improving in both animation and AI. However do not make them supermen like fifa.
More fancier looking passes and shots especially for the trickier players. Ones like the way anelka chops at the ball from a cross along the box or backheels like the way robinho did for santos etc These type will improve when watching the replays alone.
More rabonas especially on crosses
I dont know if anyone else agrees however remove the arm out animation when 1 on 1 with a player. OK It looked good on PS2 however it dated on next gen
more off the ball animations
In conclusion Konami improve animation make them fliud

^^ I think that looks amazing and should be the benchmark for Konami. It almost looks real to be honest.

Re: PES 2011 Wish-lists: Animations
I must AGREE Animations need to simply be put in. Pes 2010 had hardly any. This is a must, it's probably the biggest part that really needs to be addressed.
Apart from the obvious animations I would like to see more animations for the physical aspect of football. Players falling over differently depending on situation, players who pretend to be injured ( drogba ) lying down rolling then calmly getting up hobbling. Players tussling in penalty area, and maybe sometimes the ref blowing the whistle for retake of set-piece. I would like to see some players who have occured a head injury to be off stiched up and back on field with the head bandage.

You even see the guys selling refreshments and chucking them to people in the crowd like they do at US sporting events. Crazy detail.
I used to have MLB The Show 09 and the detail you see in the game is amazing. It truely is a masterpiece. If Konami could one day get to that level then that would be amazing.

Re: PES 2011 Wish-lists: Animations
This years game MUST incorporate a new animation engine. It is vital for Konami to sort this out because all the other factors or improvements end up as insignificant, in my opinion at least, if the ingame animation isn't realistic.
That video above looks stunning......imagine having animation and crowds like that in Evo as Gari says!!!!

i don´t know if this is part of animations our not, but the stadium should be full or empty depending on your position, and gives the possibility to choose this option in the exibithion menu like in pes 6.

Re: PES 2011 Wish-lists: Animations
My suggestion would be for Konami to take a look at that video of MLB (above) because that games animations are SUPERB!
People are always getting in and out of their seats at football games either arriving late, going to toilet, leaving early, getting snacks etc and yet no one has intergreated it into a football game yet, perhaps there hasnt been a real demand for it but there should be now thanks to this video good find by the way. It adds a real dimension in terms of realism and I think thats what some pes fans really want nowadays, is a step towards realism.
- Animations like this please Konami (if possible).

Re: PES 2011 Wish-lists: Animations
I think off the ball animations are just as important
-Players should show frustration when a stupid goal is conceeded, even just shaking their heads or shouting will do.
-When a player is badly fouled the agony should show on his face as his team mates get into a fight
- If a player launches the ball way over goal one of his team mates should shout at him asking why he didnt pass to him.
- When a player has a good shot saved his team mates should show encouragement
etc etc they add a lot to the game

Re: PES 2011 Wish-lists: Animations
- full overhaul of collision and physics
- fluid change of direction animations (Euphoria style, no more rigid 90 degree turns)
- correct animations for different shoots, top of the boot, inside of the boot, outside of the boot, curved crossing, sapped crossing, etc.
- realistic running animations, the ones present now are a joke (flapping their hands, hunched down like senior citizens, please)
- fluid change of animation from running to jumping for a header
- adequate stances animations depending on the situations on the pitch (players walk, stand with their hands on their hips, fix their soxs, etc.)
- tacking animations, player slides in and swings his leg to kick to ball out, etc.
- full stadium entrance scene, from walking out of the tunnel to standing in the line for anthem, shaking hands with opponents and the ref, running out on the pitch warming up, coin toss, etc. those can't be to hard to put in.
- transition from playing to running for a celebration, before those boring cut scenes kick in. when the ball crosses the line, players should jump, head straight for the scorer, actually celebrate the goal.
- customizable goal celebrations (Become A Legend), freedom to run to the corner flag and trigger a specific celebration type. it can be binded with shoot/pass/cross/through pass controls.
- hyper goal celebrations, vibrating, electrifying, emotional, depending on a situation. you might score against Fulham and just run to the corner flag to greet the fans while if you score against Man Utd you'll run like a maniac. depending on the match (world cup, championship league, finale games) celebrations should be more ecstatic.
More to come, can't think at the moment...

Re: PES 2011 Wish-lists: Animations
-Continuation after tripping or fall.
This event happened to me while playing master league, and it gave me an Idea.
As you can see, you're powerless when you fall or fumble in PES 2010. If this where to happen in real life, Rooney would definitely try everything to kick the ball in the net, even while lying on the ground.
So, I ask for animation for tripling players who are still giving it all to kick the ball. I can't find an example on youtube yet, but you get the picture.
