Postby alussine » Sun Jan 03, 2010 11:52 pm

How long I've been playing and what I like about PES:

I have been a die hard fan with PES Series for the past 9 years and still like the gameplay, UEFA Champions League, Editing and Master League.

My suggestion is: Make Real Clubs Jerseys, Current Leagues and Clubs Emblems available for Editing on PES

Since most Clubs Jerseys, Leagues and Clubs Emblems on PES are fake due to Licenses issues, I thought it necessary to inform Konami to make Real Clubs Jerseys, current and correct Leagues and Clubs Emblems available for Editing on the PES for users to to fix such issues. Original and current Stadiums names also need to be available for Editing on the PES for users to correct the fake Stadiums names presently on the PES 2010 due to Licenses issue.

An Editing mode is also needed on the PES to upgrade your own Stadium and Club after winning a Cup or League such as Fans and Stadium display and view. An outside stadium view is also needed on the PES before each game begin to make PES more realistic.

The Graphics and Background on the PES need more improvements to be more clear and fix the Black screen when substitution are about to be made.

Edit mode Improvements

- Bring back the low / short socks option. Some players use it as well...Totti, Camoranesi, Hleb, Kone, Toni, Lucho, Di Maria are just some examples.
- Option to put logos on sleeves and socks and shorts as well.
- More ankle tape variations (Size, collor).
- Bring back the edit boots option.
- Import pictures from a pen or a cd (for XBOX 360, since ps3 already as this option)
- More (and real) shirts and shorts templates to use and edit.
- Tattoos (Why not?) Many players have it...
- Shorts / Shirt fit and thightness
- Create or edit competition logos
- Edit supporters shirts
- Neckwarmers
- Bring back the option to change shirt/shorts/socks
- Import chants for clubs and national teams (from a pen or cd)
- Open a slot so that we can also edit the licensed teams kits in order to update or even change it after many seasons on ML with the same old kit. (Fifa used to have this option in some previous versions).

Can we have a PES equivalent of 2k share so we can download updated kits or player likenesses.

LIVERY EDITOR:

Livery editor is just like a user friendly photoshop ( which is ingame). This is used to edit the texture and color of a 3D model. It uses HD VECTOR PRESETS which have regular shapes like line, rectangle, square, circle, polygons, curves, flames, general shapes used in latest kits, etc. we have the options of customizing :

- color swatch ( same like the photoshop, many colors unlike limited colors in PES 2010)
- gradients ( 2,3,4 color gradients)
- opacity
- zoom ( as the presets are vector images, they do not get distorted)
- skew, twist, rotate and modify every preset
- import .png images ( images, logos)
- choose layers
- mirror settings.
- 100+ fonts
- option of making line grids, parallel lines, etc
- mettalic/glossy finish for Fonts( player name and numbers in shirts)
- and lots more

These editors are being used in other famous games like FORZA MOTORSPORTS SERIES and NFS PRO STREET and some skating game where you design the skateboard ( remember how you designed your last car ;)

Just like we edit the cars , imagine the football boot in place of car ( close to screen), looks big in screen and you can edit every millimeter of the boot with these presets,Rotate in any direction apply effects, colors and lots more.you can import the players signature, logos, etc in the boot and save them in different empty slots. The same aplies to kits and players (for correct player skin colors and gradients), the other areas where we can use this are :

1) Team flags ( 10 flags)
2) banners ( 20+ banners slots for different games like UCL and local league)
3) Corner flag ( for each team with logo)
4) Assistant refree's Flag
5) balls ( 10 models, 50 empty slots)
6) scoreboard and addboard ( 10 transition models and 100+ empty slots for each stadium)
7) stadium turfs
8) Cups, trophies and sheilds editing ( 10 models of each type) which also has colorful ribbons hanging !
9) goal nets
10) tattoo over players body (.png images imports)
11) player and goal keeper gloves ( 10+ empty slots)

CUSTOMIZABLE CHARECTERS:
we see players, refrees as 3D and they have animations and show activities, like wise make the following fully editable.

1) medical team
2) managers and his assistants/staffs and crew
3) ball boys
4) security personell
5) cameraman

- Make many real faces.
- Improve the Scanning system.
- Ability to change the facial hair in a default face
- More hairstyles/ release them as updates.

well here is a detailed list:
_________________________________________________________________

(1) SHIRT/UPPER

shirts templates:
- Home, away, third, Training A and Training B
- Blazers, over coat and jacket.
- 6 designs of T-shirt for fans/crowd [ merchandise]
others:
- 50+ collor design templates
- 10+ sleve cut design templates
- 10 fabrics to choose from.
- 3 different sleve lenghts
- undershirt ( many player wear it with the shorts color)
- Shirt size editor ( for loose and tight fitting )
- Livery editor
___________________________________________________________________

(2) SHORTS/LOWER

shorts templates:
- Home, away, third, Training A and Training B
- pants and tracks
- cargos and jeans for fans [ merchandise]
others:
- 10+ shorts lower cuts
- 3 different short lenghts.
- undershorts
- 10 fabrics to choose from.
- short size editor ( for loose and tight fitting )
- Livery editor
____________________________________________________________________

(3) SOCKS

socks templates:
- Home, away, third, Training A and Training B
- 4 different Sock lengths ( including very short/Ankle socks for training)
- Livery editor

(4) BOOTS
- 10 base models/shapes of boot
- 50 empty slots for boots
- Livery Editor
______________________________________________________________________

(5) ARM and WRIST BANDS
- 5 different band lenghts
- Livery editor

(6) TAPES
- 4 different taps
- Livery Editor

(7) HAIRBANDS, BANDANA, NECK WARMERS, CAP and HATS
- 4 different templates each
- Livery editor

(8) KITS FOR REFREE,SECURITY PERSONNEL, BALLBOYS, MEDICAL TEAM,etc

- All the above should be available for them with livery editor.
________________________________________________________________________

Now is it difficult to design the boot?
It looks easy now !!
Now we know to what degree we can cutomize anything which is visible in the game.
Ain't it fun designing your favourite clubs jerseys, balls, etc? :)

Adam,

Is this guy secretly a Konami employee testing out new ideas on us

Seriously though if this range of editing was possible it would be awesome.

- I would like the option of 3rd kits with mix and match shorts and socks.

- It would be good to have pre-set emblems such as nike, adidas, puma etc..... that you could just select and drop onto your kit.

- It would also be good if you could take real kit templates from teamwear catalogues (to a similar standard of detail as the licenced kits in the game - mesh inserts, background patterns, stitching etc...) complete with logos and modify the colours to suit your team, even within the master league aswell as being offered sponsorship deals (would be good if the logos could be put on kits), you can be offered kit deals and you pick the templates you prefer for all kits.

- The option to have 3/4 length sleeves like the South Africa kit a few years back.

- Logos, club badge and sponsors on shorts and logo/text on socks eg. nike tick and MUFC.

- I like the idea of a stadium editor where you choose a shape/style, colours, grass pattern etc. again this could be coupled with the master league where you start with a small stadium and as you earn coinage you can either spend it on players or stadium but bigger stadium = more fans = more revenue etc...

- Im not a big fan of the grid for applying chest logos, maybe the old PS2 approach should return so we get a choice of method. or even if the grid had shaded areas to show where logos and emblems should be located as a guide.

- Choice to have the club badge in centre of the shirt and not just on the left.

- Bring back "base copy" when creating players
- Let us have the option of registering international players into the classic squads so we can, for example, go classic argentina and have messi and maradona on the wings.......yummy!!

- length/short socks option.
- The possibilty to put logos on sleeves, socks and shorts as well.
- The possibility to change Leauges, cup and tournaments logo.
- The possibility to use licensed teams kits template for creating new teams- for example- if Real Madrid is licensed and I want to create a team which are using the same kit as Real Madrid than I want the posibility to choose Real Madrid kit template as a base for the team I want to create. Then all I have to do is upload the sponsers logo and emblem to the kit I used.
- Neckwarmers- could be nice.
- The possibilty to use National Anthems for you national team when playing.
- The possibilty to edit the licensed teams kits.
- The possibility to use "Base Copy" for creating new players from a scratch
- The possibilty to use playes faces for other players. for example- I want to use "Paulo Maldini" face for a new player i'm creating.
- As I see it classic national teams is old fashion but it if you decided to use it so make the players faces as real as possible. you should have those faces from previos pes so you just need to improve them.
- More slots for editing. please.

Please Konami We all counting on you.

I edit the game heavily and inparticular the game play, this takes over a hundred hours each year on the PS3.

On the PC, this can be done is seconds as the option file allows for 3rd party editors to be created which have global player stat editors. These allow for all players or players of a certain position only, to have each of their stats edited in one go.

Could the PS3 option file format have the protection taken of it so that it could be edited externally or is it possible to a global stat editor added to the game? This would mean that users could slow or speed the game up or increase the movement stats of all players at once to create the game each user wants.

A feature which would surely not take much work, but save people months worth of editing would be if you could upgrade option files from previous versions.

People like myself spend months making the game look better and completing the teams in it, the strips and players and we then have to start again every time a new version is released. Please make it possible to take work that has already been done and use it with the new release

Hi - huge fan of the PES series, more than FIFA. What attracts me most to the PES series is the edit mode. Players can customise to their content with the edit mode and it's really cool.

PES 2010 was great. The graphics was off the hook. Love the gameplay etc. But what could was lacking was some of the options in the edit mode. PES 2007 for the PS2 was my favorite because the little stuff, like neckwarmers, necklaces and boots edit were available. However with the last two releases for the PS3 these were lacking. The PES series leads FIFA in terms of bringing more authenticity of the sport to the consoles. So PES 2011 will be a great contender if these little option tidbits were included example:-

- neck warmers for winter mode. stadium options like (rain, snow, overcast, dusk..etc..)

- a third kit option for teams

- option to customise style of player kits

- option for emblems to be placed on both jerseys and shorts in the edit mode

- the new winter style of the spandex sleeves to be included in the edit mode.

Edit modes is good but could be better on Pes I think they should have :
- Neck warmers like on ps2
- Under armor
- That thing they had Pes 5 where you could change the kit around e.g Home shirt but with away shorts and home socks
- They should allow you to edit boots again

If there is just time left for cosmetic adjustments I want the following without fail

Editable Goalkeepers Gloves
Come on if we are all about indiviuality and little details this is one that has been annoying me for years. Keepers need ot be just as idividual as the players so instead of the same 2010 black gloves have some licensed ones in there from the Addidas, Nike, Selsport, Uhlsport etc and the ability to ake our own.

Ability to chnage Goalkeeper kits
We need to be able to chnage these just as we can with kits. It was annoying watching Riena's kit clash with the Barca away one and any other yellow kit. Plus I prefered the old style Green Grobbelaar kit he wears. We need to be able to change this and this leads me onto
Image

Image

3rd Kits
Almost every team has one especially CL teams so we need the option of third kits to avoid clashes and I would say the same goes for GK kits IF teams have them such as Arsenal who have four. Most of the top teams in europe have at least three kits some even have four.

Mix & match kits

Why oh why did you take this feature out, it's anoying and it gives players the option to adjust kits for sock or short clashes.

[/b]Short socks[/b]
Bring back the short sock option like in PES 5 for the likes of HLEB, Totti and other mavericks.

Dirty kits
This is what set PES apart from FIFA as well as the stellar gameplay. It look excellant and gave games that bit of added class
