PES 2011 Wish-lists: Gameplay

PES 2012 must differentiate the outfield player difficulty level and goalkeeper skill level, as an insurance for BAL players if for nothing else.

It drives me mad when Top Player level makes AI teammates too stupid, but you can't go too much down because the goalkeepers are bloody awful already on Professional.

So in PES 2012 I must be able to play BAL on Regular outfield player difficulty level with a Top Player goalkeeper.

This change - in all its simplicity - would save the game for BAL-orientated players such as me. It'd give people a chance to customize the experience. As it is now, it won't budge, cos any kind of stats-tweaking for goalkeepers isn't enough and don't make them better.

Although it has to be said, I have never believed in artificial weakening of goalkeepers, it simply doesn't work. So if PES Productions doesn't add this feature, they should at least keep the goalkeeper skill level always at its best, regardless of the difficulty level.

Camera / what you have done this year with cameras, it's gross , "I do not understand you, fix one thing / referee pes10 / type of thing go wrong and it happens year after year, to fix one thing and the wrong kind of game is the unplayable without the help of people / w! Ld @, MxSoniC, Juce and Robie / correcting a program that will create one for your product item.
Why can not I set the camera angle ??????? in older parts of doing so !!!!!

-Why not give us the option of changing the height, angle and
zoom of camera from 0 to 9 just like ps2 version!!!
-The amount of detail (not Graphics) drops the farther the camera
is zoomed out in ps3&360 compered to wii
-Give me control over the speed which we switch between players
we used to have 8 levels of choice in ps2 now we just have 3
-I've been playing for 10 years with my brothers we don't play
online we need more PESshop points 10 per game is not enough
-Let me choose the referee in exhibition and each ref has
different skill sets

Pes 2011 is a disgrace for every fan out there, I cant even start on where u guys are heading with this but OMG u totally destroyed the fun, amusement, u finished PES. I've been playing the game for 2 months now and now turned back to 2010 with all my disappointed friends in sweden, and notice we consider our self’s real good players both online and offline so here it comes, and sorry if my English is somewhat bad: Try to count facts:
1. Every single rebound of a goalkeeper after a shoot it goes into the box again. (U concede dumb rebound goals all the time after a shoot is rebounded always in d opposite direction).
2. With this year’s Pes u never have to clear the ball out from danger in d box, u can always pass it out, it’s so bad and unreal that that is silly, no matter how many opponents puyol or whoever has around him he simply can pass it out!!
3. In one match 6 of 10 shots on goal hits the bar or the sidebar, or it rebounds of the sidebar into goal, is this bad programming??
4. If I'm outside the box and shoot on goal, or almost always hits another player inside the box!!!
5. In this PES u cannot tell if someone is better or worse than you when you play a decent player its lottery, someone catches a rebound, or the ball jumps over the goalkeeper, or it’s a own goal, or somehow some player gets the ball of some strange bounce of a player and woops u got free against the goalkeeper!
6. I can play with England with Lennon, Rooney, Defoe, Walcott upfront against Kazakstans defends and it’s impossible to outrun one of them, so I need to pass the ball to the side and side and side and it doesn’t matter if I find a trough pass to somebody and my player is 3 meters in front, every defender in the game is gonna catch up, I don’t know what happened to your soccer knowledge but OMG u mess this up!!
7. In the latest games you as a player had control over the gameplay, u played the ball and had your own style of play, u maybe liked to play on the wings, or use one wing only, yu maybe liked to play possession football, you maybe was a quick attacker, or played on counterattacks, in this year’s Pes u play with no idea 70% of the game because u just hope that things work out!
8. In one match I can get 10 scoring opportunities finding my self one with the goalkeeper and its impossible to dribble him, or outrun him, so I shoot and the shoots are like Jabulani nightmare, 3 of 10 goes on goal, and this is only if I am running with the ball, if I have a free player free in the box and pass it to him to shoot on first touch he balloons it EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!! So I have to receive it and then take the shoot or it rebounds in the air and the player jumps and does a karate kick and balloons it anyway!!!
9. The defenders can not kick the ball out on first touch, you must receive the ball then pass so what is this please tell me??
10. Players can sometimes act as metal stands when u overpass the ball towards a player it bounces of him as if he was a tree!
11. U say absolute freedom I say its ALCATRAZ of soccerplaying, players are slow, they cant manage to have the ball for one runthrough, turns are so slow and u yes u can use a rainbowdribble or whatever else to come around one opponent.
12. Have u played FIFA?? Pes RULES over FIFA and has always done this, Fifa is for children but I played Fifa and I must say, u sure can feel the flow, but PES don’t be FIFA, that is not the road u wanna take!!
13. The menus??? Hahaha now where to begin, what happened KONAMI, u took one thing that was unique, when u see a good PES player before u could see it in how he manages the menu, it was fast, now it’s a PC mouse stick that is ridiculously slow and u put timelimit on online playing?? With that menu??? U had so many wonderful things that u removed such as to decide if a player is attack,balanced or defenceminded, u removed the ring or a box where u could directly see players abilities that was in 06 PES, savings are destroyed, before I could store my 3 best formations and now I must download every single one of them, real pes lovers took their time on fixing the strategy before a game, but do u really think that your managing system is fast to fix, u must choose a strategy for every minute now and if u somhow choose the wrong one or u simply want to replace it you can only delete it by deleting the whole setup!! So START OVER U SAY!! U make me sooo angry that as a fan I just feel hopeless and cant do a damn thing!!! Form on the players are laughable also, I can play a tournament and in one game I have 80% of my players with red and orange arrows and in the next one they are all blue and purple, it’s a lottery, what happened to them, whole team got sick on the way to the game or what?????? When does it happened in CL that in one match I got Eto, Milito, Pandev, Snejder, Lucio, Maicon, Cesar with red arrows, and after the game they all are out and cant play??? PLEASE GUYS WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH YOU OR U THINK THIS IS FUNNY TO PLAY WITH US FANS LIKE THIS????? Don’t change a winning concept, fans are telling you for last 5 years that all we want is PES06 with better graphics and motions u don’t listen, u just ignore that and take away everything, but u took back functions like that one that I can make players with big pumpkin heads and masks on the pitch, and play with the paperballs and such hahaha WHO DOES THIS??? I MEAN COME ON!!!!
14. Replays every single minute is so disturbing, when playing online I have to press the startbutton a thousand time, and my opponent can look at his jabulani shot from 30 meters for 2 minutes!! Its killing me and its killing fans!!!
15. Penalties all over again, for 3 years fans are trying to say make them easier, and no, u still think that shooting a freekick from 25 meters is easier to score goals on!!! EVERY single player has seen the video FANS are trying to film with tutorials on youtube and still nobody gets it, u simply stand in the middle with the goalkeeper, penalty should be rewarding when u get them, not worrying if u gonna win the lottery this time shooting it. If I play against u and we came to penalties it should be a contest of players reading eachother, I shoot left and he jumps with the goalkeeper and saves to the left then its fun, not like this, its absurd!!!!
16. Who cares if u have 1000 animations when the gameplay is shit!!

17. I tried many formations and I can say that this years version is nowhere near the real game what so EVER, I dare every player out there to put a three man defense in real life or previous versions of PES against an attack of midfield and 3 attackers they score 8 times of 10, but in this PES u can play a 3 man or even a 2 man defense and no WORRY, statistics show on my online playing that I received 4 goals in 10 matches against div2-3-4 players, so I can easily play 2-3-2-3 and win match after match! THIS IS MINDBLOWING!!!!!
18. The number 17 critisism is all about players which are sooo slow and it doesn’t matter if its etoo, messi or ronaldo, u can always rely on your defenders to have a upper hand in every situation. So u automaticly start to not thinking about defense so much, but every good PES player knows that if someone can play u can see it in how he defends BUT NOT IN THIS YEARS VERSION!!
19. I had my 12 yearold cousin on visit and he played 2011 and he said WOW GRAPHICS ARE NICE, and he loved the game and he loves FIFA also, ofcourse he is 12 and has never played football, I’m 28 and I chose PES earlier because of the pureness of the game, difficulty and gamplay. Now its all gone so I’m stuck playing 2010 waiting for a miracle to happen in 2012 version!!
20. KONAMI its so simple, go back to roots, welcome menu is beautiful this year but tactics are a flaw, take back the old system, remember that fans are gathering at eachother playing tournaments all over the world with friends, make the game fast in menus with flow, when my guys come over we are 4 and each of us gets 2 play groups and knockout to the final, 2 times/week and imagine how many hours we spend on playing your game, and we are so many all over the world doing the same thing, why then change the tactics menu to be slower, why put replays if I cant remove them in settings, why remove the circle so u directly could see in a diagram players abbilitys now I must see push triangle button and scroll all abilities to see if he is a good shooter, fast player…..why change the savings system, why why why soooo many whyyyys?????

KONAMI I HOPE U READ THIS AND TAKE IN AT LEAST 10 % OF THE INPUT, IM STILL A PES PLAYER AND WILL ALWAYS BE BUT THIS TIME YOU BLEW IT, IM SORRY AND YOU SHOULD BE TO!!!!

I hope Konami and the PES team take these issues into serious consideration before releasing PES 2012. The Gameplay needs further improvements, realism and reduce the CPU being cheating on star playings during a match.

I had my 12 yearold cousin on visit and he played 2011 and he said WOW GRAPHICS ARE NICE, and he loved the game and he loves FIFA also, ofcourse he is 12 and has never played football, I’m 28 and I chose PES earlier because of the pureness of the game, difficulty and gamplay. Now its all gone so I’m stuck playing 2010 waiting for a miracle to happen in 2012 version!!

KONAMI its so simple, go back to roots, welcome menu is beautiful this year but tactics are a flaw, take back the old system, remember that fans are gathering at eachother playing tournaments all over the world with friends, make the game fast in menus with flow, when my guys come over we are 4 and each of us gets 2 play groups and knockout to the final, 2 times/week and imagine how many hours we spend on playing your game, and we are so many all over the world doing the same thing, why then change the tactics menu to be slower, why put replays if I cant remove them in settings, why remove the circle so u directly could see in a diagram players abbilitys now I must see push triangle button and scroll all abilities to see if he is a good shooter, fast player…..why change the savings system, why why why soooo many whyyyys?????

To be hoest I dont njoy PES 20 and I have to ag with alot of the points. I dont know what Konami have done but it's not working for me.I love PES and have been ping it since the ISS days but its lo magic.I saw a on youtube a guy has patched PES 6 with all the new teams. If it was burn't onto blu ray and had HD graphics i'd go for that instead.

How long I've been playing and what I like about PES:

I have been playing PES since 1994 and like the Watch a Match feature on PES 2011 offline.

My suggestion is: Message to Konami and the PES 2011 Team

As a long term Fan and Customer to PES games for the past 10 years, I am totally disappointed and presently frustrated with the terrible and annoying Gameplay on PES 2011 offline mode. The players play stupidly like fools during the match on Watch a Match by pausing and give away the ball to the opponents. Strikers throw away possible goals scoring opportunities in one-on-one with the goalkeeper over the goal post or wide. Created Star Players are not executing their giving Skills Cards that allows low class players to dominate them which does not even exist in real life soccer or football.

The stupid and terrible ways the players are playing on PES 2011 Watch a Match mode which is my favorite is frustrating, annoying and disappointing to watch. Most of my Created Star Players on PES 2011 Watch a Match offline mode are playing like fools by giving away a lot of ball possessions to the opponents, pausing, slowing down when the opponents hold on to ball possessions and allow them to score against you.

My Created Star Strikers whom I gave Skill Cards for possible One-On-One finish and better penalty kickers throw away possible goals when facing the goalkeeper that makes me caused at the game with frustration and disappointments. Allow Created Star Players to execute their Skills Cards and Abilities during the match and stop the computer cheating on them which is annoying and frustrating to watch.

The Players Affection structure on PES 2011 Master League offline need to be fix and base the Affection when players plays regularly and years of services with the club as well as winning competitions. Also fix the Assisted Settings to stop using goalkeepers as players, midfielders as defenders and strikers as midfielders.

The Assisted Settings supposed to use players on their correct positions and Rotate players who are not fit or tired to play specific games. Merge the Assisted Settings to the Coach Mode and bring back the feature to Substitute a player as soon as they start to get tired or exhausted during the match by the Coach Mode. PES 2011 Gameplay on Watch a Match is a disappointment to a long term Hardcore Fan and Customer like me for the past 10 years. Sometimes I feel like removing the game from my PS3 Console and throw it on the trash when watching the Watch a Match mode with my family and see my Created Star Players playing like fools and dummies.

Another issue is the terrible financial structure on PES 2011 offline mode with the low Sponsors values and high star players salaries which does not even exist in real life sport. A single sponsors yearly contract value can't even pay a star player salary worth between 15 to 35 million which is a shame and disappointment from Konami and the PES 2011 team. Increase the Sponsors values from 100 to 380 million depends on how you win games, Leagues and Cups to be able to pay your star players on both Offline and Online mode.

A management Board Structure is highly needed on PES Master League mode to control the Club, Staff and Coach to decide and approve what player to sell and buy. Remove the feature on the Scout that allow him to sell and buy players which does not exist in real life sports. The Scout is only responsible to look for players, consult the Management Board for consideration to buy or not, but not for him to sell or buy players. Most of my star players have been sold by my Scout without asking for approval or consultation which is annoying.
We need a feature on PES to indicate a NOT FOR SALE on your Star and Favorite Players in your club with a Buy Out Clause just like real life soccer or football. That is another realism needed on PES games.

I bought some of my created star players on PES 2011 Master League Offline mode on a three year contract each, they have 50% Affections for my Club after unveiling them. All of the sudden after playing two games, their Club Affections is empty and end up putting their contracts on hold when their three years contract finished with no option for negotiations. Such feature has become disturbing, unreal and disappointing that does not even exist in real life soccer football clubs.

PES 2011 is on the right direction by introducing my favorite feature (Watch Match) which me and my family always watch, but the above problems and issues must be fix as soon as possible with a patch or update to better enjoy the Gameplay.

In conclusion to the above, I would also like to express my disappointment and frustrations on how Konami and the PES 2011 team has treated PS3 owners in the United States not to have the NEW PATCH released on November 24, 2010. The Patch was only released for XBOX 360 owners in the United States, but not for PS3. You can't just do things like this when PS3 owners are the largest Customers and Fans in the United States buying PES games. Konami and the PES team need to realize that there are thousands of PES Fans and Customers in the United States and most of them are PS3 owners.

Suggestions for your consideration:

1) Options to consistently force fluid player runs off the ball. Or be more effective/aggressive with what you have implemented already in this aspect so that it's a lot more visible a lot more often.

2) Further improved response times in general, especially defensively when playing online.

3) Elimination of cheap goals via silly AI, non responsive buttons etc.

4) Improved animations.

5) Improved goalkeepers.

6) More consistent referees.

7) Less cut scenes thus creating a more free flowing match.

8) Revert penalty view back to behind the kick taker.

9) Defensive auto AI actions on the ball need to be eliminated if not significantly improved as it currently does nothing but concede penalties against my will.
