Uncharted 3!!!

I'm only on the Yemen level and it's already all sorts of awesome! It starts off slow but it steadily builds from the off. It's paced like a proper movie.

I'm embarrassed i have never played the first two but i usually don't like games like this. Well consider me converted, I honestly cannot explain how blown away I have been with this game, the way Drake interacts with surroundings in fights to the cinematic action in every single level. It's head and shoulders above any other game i've played and just makes me wonder what can be done with other genres.

Does uncharted benefit from being a ps3 exclusive?

Some of the best graphics this gen, all on 1 disc, with minimal load times - Uncharted is the flagship of the PS3 and for good reason as somehow Naughty Dog are able to showcase what can be achieved by that system. And what quality a game can achieve when truly utilizing the system - that's been the PS3's problem this gen (or one of Sony's many!), nowhere near enough developers harnessing the power of that console, especially when it comes to multi platform games. Because they could all have PS3 exclusive type graphics and performance like Uncharted, Heavy Rain etc....but it's not that simple any more.

it was an open question to all to see what the general consensus was. I think if devs had a chance to concentrate solely on one system more often then we might see some truly brilliant games in other genres.

Would be interesting to see how PES could benefit.

The uncharted series is soooo good ...if Uncharted2 was to come out for the first time ever lets say in 2013 ....it still would of got the same reviews it got 2 years ago ...the ND team are masters of their art , i get UC3 in a couple of days ......ArkhamCity is all kinds of awesome tho .......will be close calling the best singleplayer game of 2011

It'll be a 3 way between Skyrim, Uncharted 3 and Batman Arkham City - I really don't think any other games will come close although BF3 and MW3 will be nominated.....it will be close for GOTY between them three though, I knew Uncharted 3 would be as good as it is, Skyrim if it's anything like the creative high that Oblivion was to play through should be awesome for about 5 years lol, but the game that's surprised me is the quality jump found in Arkham City - I really wasn't expecting it to be nearly as good as it actually is.

Just finished It on Hard difficulty.... WHAT AN EPIC GAME

I'll definitely play It again on the unlocked 4th difficulty!

Definitely on of the best games ever!

Just finished it on the weekend (too many games to play lol)
I cant underline my love for ArkhamCity enough i really cant .....but

Uncharted3 is GOTY for me , still blew me away
I didnt think ND could pull another "uncharted2" on me , but they did
The pacing is almost perfect, the story is hollywood good , the acting is top draw and the gameplay is as tight as it ever was
I do feel like they have made the aiming a tad harder and heavyier which has made me like it more
Uncharted 1 and 2 i have plat'd just for the sheer joy of it ......Uncharted3 will be no different

Hard mode it is next then .....played an hour of the MP thats pretty tasty aswell

I feel theyve made the aiming harder too, but at the same time theyve made the enemies less invincible, which is perfect as I felt the first 2 games, the bad guys took far too many shots to kill.

I did think Uncharted 2 was too "gun heavy", too many gunfights which personally I think took something away from the feel of the game, but number 3 seems to have toned it down a little (although im not even half way through yet)

Well being a fellow Uncharted fan .....you can expect to be blown away ...... despite all the eye candy that Uncharted2 had i really didnt think ND could get me again
Enjoy it fella ....god knows how long it will be before we see another Single player game of this quality again ...perhaps never on PS3 if they stop making Uncharteds this gen

I get quite badly travel sick, and I just had to turn it off on the tanker ship level cos I was about to throw!

The only thing that annoys me about the Uncharted series, and all 3 games have done it, is every now and then youll get one bit which you end up having to do over, and over and over before you get past it, just cos its so hard that its annoying.

Like one bad guy, or one jump or something.

Overall the games arent like that, but like I say, therell be one bit that just pisses you off.

That mode has more stop and start than alittle

But was for the first 2 utterly utterly satisfying when you beat them , the church level on uncharted1 and the water room in uncharted1 spring to mind

One trick i believe ND has failed on is not including a survival mode .....the game is screaming out for one
Or having another player take control of the weaker enemy soldiers trying to halt you in single player
......so many possibilitys they can still play with should they choose to make a 4th

Its satisfying when you do it, yeah, but when you get a bit like that, when you finally get past it, its more of a "thank god" rather than a happy satisfying.

Overall the games are all incredible, but they could do without those parts.

I agree with that but there are many players who want to play at the top level and think that's an achievement ....such a kids

One thing I don't like about all uncharted games the gun fight.I prefer hand fight in uncharted 3.Also ,swimming and riding a horse are amazingly captured in this game.

Well the difficulty thing for me is on experiance
Crushing on Uncharted 1 is harder than 2 and 3
Crushing on 2 is harder than 3

When i look at it objectively ive played that much Uncharted there probably all as easy/hard as one another but i sailed through Uncharted3 with no problems
I know you guys say that there is one "way" thats effective to clear certain sections but i dont agree with that - playing through on different difficulties ive tried and won with different methods/guns etc

Still all of this is opinion
