Just won my first race, at Shanghai.

Qualified 4th, pitted the lap after they told me to to try and avoid the pit lane congestion bug (which worked as I was alone in the pitlane when I went in), made me nervous though as I knew my tyres wouldnt last much longer.

Thought id experienced the AI drivers not pitting bug, as when I came out the pits I was 8th, behind a Virgin, a HRT and something else rubbish, but they started to go into the pits over the next few laps. I only actually overtook 1 of them, the rest I took when they went in.

Was all alone for the last 3 laps, then on the last lap it started to rain so I just nursed it round and won by about 7 seconds over Hamilton, Alonso and Vettel.

Massa finished down in 15th, which isnt that unrealistic for early on this season. Still disappointed you dont get a little celebration video or anything, but still, happy with a win :)

It is indeed. The way the car disappeared into the ground is a worry

The damage doesn't occur because it was in Time Trial mode :)

Oh fair enough. Although it wouldnt surprise me at all if there was no damage on a crash like that in race mode!

Just finished the Melbourne GP. Qualified 17th (my 'objective' was 15th) and finished 14th in the race (my objective was 12th). I would've done better (probably 12th) but i overshot the pit stop again.

Wish you could practice them :(

Finally finished my first season with Hespania Team. Did well, finished with 40+ points. No body wanted to give me a contract at the end of the year except for Lotus because of my bad press and having crashed 4 of the final 6 races. :( All though i got a 2nd place podium in Monza and fined 4th in Yas Marina. Man i cant get myself off this game. Even though the level of concentration is freakin' high. WIth a patch, this game will be totally awesome. haha. Anyway, its all i have to play for now until PES 2011 comes out.

EDIT: Ended up with Lotus for the second season. My PERSONAL objective is to finish every race without crashing and retiring. And try to get as many points as i can. Hopefully get a deal with Mercedes or something.

By the way, who was your rival in your first season. My rival is Liuzzi. We kept going at it in races and it gave a whole new rush. lol. End of season he ended up winning the drivers points by margin of 20 or so points.

My rival's Bruno Senna and the only reason for that is he took me out at the first corner several times in Australia causing me to restart :x

Trying to relearn Malaysia at the moment. Really starting to hate the track :x

Malaysia is actualy one of those tracks that i find easy to go around. Finished in the middle of the pack the last time i raced. The tracks that i find easy and fun, i always finish mid pack or closer to the podium, while the tracks i have problems and give more effort, i would end near the end of the ranking, even though i kjnow the track pretty well like Monaco and Spanish Grand Prix, Catalonia.

Tell me about it. Some of the pits lanes on various circuits are a bloody nightmare. I cant remember exactly which track it is that I have a mare trying to get into the pits but I think its Sepang. I could be wrong though.

Malaysia's a nightmare of a pitlane, if i remember correctly. Haven't played Sepang since F1:CE so i can't remember that one :D

What do you think of the game?

Yeah the pitlane is a nightmare as you go straight before the first of 2 main straights rather than turning left but there is an identical looking piece of tarmac next to it that looks like the pitlane and if you go to that one rather than the pitlane entrance, you come face to face with a wall

Regarding the game itself, I think its fantastic and easily the best F1 title for a very long time. Yeah there are a bugs in the game but all games have bugs and it doesnt take away the brilliance of the game itself in my opinion. For a first attempt, Codemasters have done a fantastic job to recreating the sense of speed and adrenaline of the whole F1 experience.

Havent touched this since FIFA 11 came out, might get back into it once my exams are over.

Melbourne for me was so easy to get around and memorize, but most of the asian circuits im awful at! Malaysia + China are my worst!

Just gone back on this after not playing it for a couple of weeks.

Im at Spain in my season, and I dont know why but I just cannot do it. I cant do better than a 1:27, but the pole guy is getting 1:24. Ive nothing left to give, I cant push any harder without crashing!

I hate that track, always have. Only managed to complete 2 laps there. The rest resulted in "invalid lap"

And it must have been a while since i watched the Spanish Grand Prix, that last complex of corners is crap :?

Managed to do a 1:24 in the second lap i actually completed. The only thing that i might be doing that you're not is fiddling with the wing. On the start straight, i change it to "-" and on the rest i put it "+"

I managed a 1:25.5 with option tyres and as little fuel as possible. Im currently 7th in Q2, Ill be happy if I can get to Q3 and just see if I can get points in the race.

But yeah, I hate this track too, as you said, the last section of corners with that double chicane thing is horrible.

That crash i showed earlier on in here in Monaco wasn't a once off. Just happened again, except not as bad.
It's a bad bug to miss :?

Got P7 for the race, not too bad. If I finish in the top 6 ill be happy with that and I can get this godawful track behind me!

When is this patch being released?
