i have raised this issue with konami and here is the copy of the email from my phone conversation. ! i cant believe they took this option not to let another player join the same team , me and my bro have always played this way for 8+ years every weekend once a week ! and now we cant ...

Hi, After your call earlier I had an ask around among the team here, and unfortunately I can confirm there doesn't seem to be a way to have 2 players on the same team in the Konami Cup (or equivalent). You're right in thinking Konami seem to have removed this to stop people joining the COM team at the last minute and cheating, but you're also right in thinking this isn't an ideal solution to the problem. As a result, I'm going to forward the issue onto a higher department and stress how this is something people are really missing. I can only apologise for the inconvenience it's caused you, but I can assure you I will raise the issue with a higher department ASAP. Kind regards,Konami Support

I Think When You Are Trying To Break Into The First Team...
You Should Play The Reserve Teams Of Other Teams, Not Just Your First Team...
For Example;

1st Team vs Fulham
Reserves vs Fulham Reserves...

Switching system is awful, both when you are defending and attacking.
Sometimes when you are defending you are just able to switch between players that are behind of the player with the ball.
You can't do a one touch cheap shot cause it will switch to another player!
Sometimes it doesn't switch, so the player automaticlly passes the ball.
Another thing is that through passes are fast and the player won't reach the ball most of the time.
There are many bugs in player collisions, crazy referees (not getting foul when you do a sliding tackle most of the time), GKs, lightnings, etc.

I think releasing a gameplay patch is easy on some parts of the game (Through passes, switching, ...) but i am sure they won't do that, i don't want new boots, or stadiums! This game has big potentials, but too buggy. and they must be responsible for these bugs

Do Konami ever respond to the issues raised on these forums?
They should take a leaf out of Football Managers book, always responding and expalining and taking on board what the fans are saying.
That is how to do community interaction and that is how they will really improve the game and win back fans.

Could you post the email/phone number you used to contact Konami about this? I am very upset about this issue as well as me and 2 friends of mine have played as you described in the Konami cup 2 vs. 1 games for the last 5 years and I can't believe they removed this. I would like to contact them as well about this so they know more people are upset about it and maybe it can be patched.

PC-version:
Only 4 players/gamepads supported in offline mode, so no more fullhouse tournaments with my mates cause everyone needs his own button configuration and now has to configure it before each match - pointless...
Aside from the fact that as people are playing with different kind of gamepads you often would have to switch them before starting a match.

In contrast PS3 Version still supports 7 or 8 players/gamepads...so no need to took that out of PC-version...

1) Improve CPU AI.
2) Cheat

Konami has chosen cheat especially on Top Player.

01) When the ball rebounds, 99 percent of the time the ball will go directly towards the CPU players feet.
02) If the ball goes towards your player, a lot of times your player will either freeze or run away from the all.
03) In away games the ref will hardly book or stop any CPU fouls, but if you get the ball first and the CPU runs into you , you have given a foul.
04) When the CPU has a throw-in the CPU will move your players far away.
05) When you have a throw-in you cannot move or call up any of your players.
06) My 92 speed defender cannot keep up with an 80 speed attacker, but there 80 speed defender can keep up with my 90 speed attacker.
07) The CPU can tackle you by running into the back of you, your player freezes and the ball ends up on CPU players feet.
08) The passing ends up like pinball with the CPU player doing passes with players who have low pass stats.
09) Any 50/50 challenge and the CPU will mostly get the ball or a foul.
10) You run towards the goal on the left wing, you run towards the goal you pass to a player who is in front of you, the CPU will then make the ball pass to someone who is not even in line with then run, or in the direction you are pressing for a pass.

Defo mate, not only that they need a patch for keepers, I have played people off the park only to have CHEAP goals go in through poor man selct or ropey GK's!

Personally I love the new Top Player difficulty, just adapt your tactics to the team I was playing R Madrid in CL and drew 1st leg 2-2 playing 4 4 2, 2nd leg at home i reverted to 4 3 3 opting for Hargreaves to mark Ronaldo as a defensive CM, he marked Ronadlo out the game and I won 2 - 1....

Only gripe I have is online and the dodgy GK's and constant battles vs R.Madrid!!

I wasnt asking for advice on how to play PES...I'm saying what do you suggest to make it harder???
Of course those things happen its on top player.... If they didnt happen it would be easy, and then i wouldnt be top player now, would it?

What´s wrong with the KONAMI guys???

I am using a PS3 plattform. Sorry for my bad english I try it as good as possible

1) why is it not possible to edit the League and Cup Logos on the PS3 plattform just changing the name is not enough for me. That really pure!
2) I dont understand why also the goal net is not like in the English Premier League tightand in the form of a sqare in the pes 2010 its just hanging i am missing here the small details witch giving me more the real football feeling!
3)More boots in the edit area? More boots of course, but what for boots did you give us?? Why is it not more possible like in old good times of the PS2 plattform creating own boots, now we have 24 slots and 11 are with brands! Ok I understand the copyright thing but give us the users the oppurtunity creating our own boots!
4) What about the goalkeeper gloves the same thing like in point 1 and 3 not editable.
5)What about giving us also more slots for balls, for uploading ball images???

Ok! That´s it what I really miss in the game! The gameplay, well I am keeping me for don´t telling so many negative things about the game! Please KONAMI give back the realistic footbal feeling to the users! Next-Gen Konsole but just using the half of oportunity for making the best football simulation in the eternal world! I expect mor from you KONAMI!

Just wanted to add that I hope that this is sorted as well. We play co-op Konami Cups all the time in previous versions. I can't believe it's not possible this year.

I wish it was possible to play Champions League mode without having to play home and away games. I know I can play a tournament in Community Mode, but I'd like to have the CL atmosphere and still only have to play half as many matches. This also would be important since we like to play co-op cups and this isn't possible in Community Mode.

Make long shots harder to pull off

Collisions system

Full 360 degrees movement (32/64 as in fifa)

Ball physics for ground passing (make it feel more like when you use the manual pass)

Make defending easier

200 new animations for goalkeepers an make them good an not spill half as much as they do (the key is to make them fell big)

Alot more boots (you have the boots but you need all the diffrent colours)

Add alot more stadiums with the correct goals an not the crapy shaped ones in pes 2010
Add the hill to old trafford aswell

Actualy have the shirt untucked out in game (we can see konami)

Ive played two and a half seasons now of master league set on top player difficulty,so thats 150 games and ive not been awarded a single penalty yet! I get fouled plenty around the box and a free kick is given,but in the area even if i am fouled nothing is ever given,is anyone else having this problem as this is a serious fault in the game.
So much for keepers being able to be red carded then.

Just checked my track record in gallery, 160 games played,368 fouls recieved,388 freekicks,0 penalltys.
