PES 2010 Response Issues Feedback

What about 1080P? Is it a resolution issue or a progressive versus interlaced issue?

I've been playing on the 360 @ 1080P, and, honestly, I'm not 100% sure I'm seeing any response issue. It's hard to tell though, because I feel there is generally a response problem for me because I'm using analogue for the first time

Hi all , ive just changed from 1080i to 720p and im a happy bunny now , dribbling , turning and one touch passing is much improved, i noticed it straight away and for those who say its like playing pes 2009, its clearly not . defenders still stop anyone dribbling through, that was the problem on pes 2009 some players were just impossible to stop, And if what Adam says is true about his code been tweaked and improved , were in for a treat , just cancelled my pre order of Fifa 10 on the evidence of this working , try it guys.

Yeah I seem to remember even PES2008 was better on a standard TV or SD. I will try the 720.

I decided to try the tip about changing your res on your PS3/360/P.C to see how much it does improve the response times and at first i was a bit like 'yeah, whatever!' but my god, what a massive difference it is. Its like im playing a totally different game. It feels just brilliant now

Glad your happy, see this is why i couldnt understand people rubbishing the demo, but i was always on 720, it's a truly amazing game

Im actually shocked that it has made that big of a difference as it really has. Its crazy to think that changing something like the 'res output' settings could change a game is such a big, big way. Im over the moon at the moment as it really does play perfectly right now compared to what it was. Im not saying i didnt enjoy how it was before as i did but at times, there were some problems with the game but now ive changed the res, its never going back to 1080i thats for sure.

Definatly, Konami should put some kind of mention of this on the Demo itself and the manual at release telling people about this..

Maybe they wasnt aware that this problem occured as to be fair, if it wasnt for reading this thread and Caniggia posting what he did about it, i would of never of thought that this was possible.

Yeah i agree, the speed of it is perfect and some are saying that its too fast. I dont find that at all myself. Basically the game has just become alot better for me. Also maybe its just me but when i had it on the higher res before changing to 720p, at times it felt very scrappy in certain parts of the matches i was playing but for some reason, since ive changed to 720p everything seems smoother and i dont get those 'scrappy' parts half as much as i did before. Am i going nuts? or has this improved?

There looks like there are some major issues with the pace of the game in that video. Im not sure if its how he has recorded it and he might not of rendered it right or thats the way the p/c version runs on 720p i dont know, but look at Gerrards legs when he runs. He goes like bloody roadrunner!

Changed my PS3 to output 720. Response times are on par with PES 2009.

This is in line with my experience at the weekend of playing on an old SD screen and having far better response times, but faster gameplay also.

I've been playing on 720p from the beginning (720p is better then 1080i in general) and the response issues still exist (although i don't know how much compared to 1080i,but they are there,annoying me for sure).

Exactly seems like the p.c messes up the pace at lower res. on the ps3 its perfect however

Yeah been really busy with work so ive not had a massive amount of time to post on here recently . Everything is cool now though

I like both PES and Fifa but anyone that knows me knows that although i do enjoy Fifa, my first love will always be PES, always.

It frustrates me man.. that i can't like FIFA 10 i can see that it's a great game but i just don't like it.
