They do look clunky, I don't think I'll be changing boots anytime soon.
By the way, whats your favourite surface for playing football? Indoor? Astroturf? 3G? 4G? Grass? Tarmac? All-weather etc

Ive got those Puma ones, but in astro form, theyre alright but not that comfy.
I prefer grass, but only if tis good, smooth, looked after pitch, not the usual sunday league park pitch!
At the minute only play on astro, which is fine, as its proper astro not just green concrete!

Suprisingly my favourite surface is tarmac while wearing trainers. I just think the bounce of the ball is true-er and you've got a better control.
I used to play on astro the whole time, but I don't really like it anymore. A few 4G indoor pitches have opened up recently near me so that's what I'm training on.

For me, astro/3G -- the ball just moves around so nicely.
Bumpy pitches annoy the hell out of me...

Likewise, I love grass but as I say, its shit unless its a good pitch. Nothing annoys me more than not being able to control the ball or do what I want with it because it doesnt run smooth or it bounces funny just before it gets to you.

I love a wet surface. Playing on a wet pitch is brilliant fun.

Hate wet pitches haha, especially as im a keeper horrible to judge how fast its going i like it wet to a degree, we it just slides nicely hate when it starts to slide then gets caught up and fools you also dont like going from one surface to another, as it does take a while to adjust to the way the ball is and stuffs...
My fav surface is grass, love getting dirty and cushions your fall luckily most pitches in blackburn are pretty good, but hate bobbly surface where it just jumps up as your about to catch the ball. nightmare.

Anyone got, or worn, these?
http://www.sportsdirect.com/nike-ctr360 ... ers-269094
I tried them on in JJB. They were comfy, but size 9 was too tight and size 10 too big. They didnt have a 9.5, but that website does.
Anyone played in them?
Also, has anyone got Nike Mercurials? I tried some on in JJB, and I thought they were pretty comfy but it felt like the sole was very hard, almost no give in it at all, wondered what that would be like to play in?
