NBA also has a youtube channel if you want to subsribe to it, updates it daily with highlights of the games and extra stuff

Might do, i really want to get into it, but it reminds me when i was first getting into footie, i didnt have a clue who was who etc...

Thats what really attracted me to watch it first, the quick, agile movements they make from nowhere is great to watch.

Also, its a much easier and interesting sport to watch compared to the other north american sports like american football and baseball, where it stops and starts every 10 seconds, in basketball the game seems to flow like our football

Yeah, it truly is end-to-end, yet at this stage i dont have a clue about the rules or scores. But im looking forward to learning.

I was the same, fortunately my house mate plays the sport so he keeps me in line, but still sometime i just sit wondering what just happened?

If you watch a full match youll understand them much easier rather than highlights, how about download nba 2k9 demo and give it a go

:lol: :lol: The rules arent very complexed it dseosnt take long to know them its quite easy IMO as i used to play basketball when i was in secondry school as im quite tall, also i have massive respect for these guys fitness it is one of the most energy consuming sports i have ever played your knackered after 5 min of playing :lol:

Yeah, i understand that part, but then you have to take into consideration where you are situated on the court and if the attacker is off the ground etc

I wouldnt say i know all the rule but since i've been following basketball for some years i can help break down some of them... for instance when a player drives into a lane and theres a defender in his path who hasnt moved and stands his ground with his hand behind him earns a charge and an offensive foul on the attacker... it is important to note that the defender cannot stand in the key and take a charge... the key is the small arc bellow the basket where there is a 3 sec violation... anymore questions do let me know...

Who really knows, james has been class for cav's, its the others who havent been performing, and they are home next so hopefully they step up so the series goes on for longer

i think lakers have it over nuggets
