I never said one goal will change his performance but for the footballing spectacle it couldn't have been written better that a player in poor form scores such a great goal to win the derby game. That is a reason as to why a lot of attention is on it plus the fact it was a great goal.

Anyway, enough side-tracking. I don't want to spend the next few posts discussing if a goal of that calibre in such an important game is being "overplayed" a day after the game. Rooney's goal > Bale's goal, in my opinion

I just don't fancy spending the next few posts discussing if a goal of that calibre is being overplayed a day after the game has finished. I stated my reasons as to why Rooney's is better than Bale's while also acknowledging how good Bale's is.

Like I said, just not in the mood of discussing if it is overplayed or over hyped.

Watched that live, he just doesnt score ordinary goals does he? Wish we'd have kept him.

Ahah it does seem fake indeed, the ball changes direction 4 times before going in. It WAS scored with a Jabulani, can be considered half fake :P
