Starting ML, Offline Mode

Postby carhandle » Mon Oct 25, 2010 6:03 pm

Right so any tips for me please for starting a Master League in Offline mode?

I like to start from the very bottom, so its the default ML players for me and its the basic £3m-ish budget.

Struggling to keep in the black financially and keep having players released when the expenses get deducted.

So who are the players to go for early on? On a reaaalllly tight budget.

Any tips gratefully accepted!

How low is low?
I bought Pedretti for less than €1 million.
Bring in some of your youth players, I brought in a tall german CB with an overall 81 for nothing.
Also, check your Scout List of List of Targets, I got Forlan for less than €3 million. If a player is transfer listed, you can get him for a fraction of the price.

Cheers, but low means lower than a snake's belly. Think i've got about £600k to play with. Started with an unedited WE United (then changed them to Aberdeen once the ML had started) so there's hardly any cash available.

I did bring thru a lot of youths - Schwarz up top, Japanese midfielder, Schulz I think is the German defender, there's a left-mid called Palaez or something, a Paraguayan keeper, and an Italian centre-back.

Difficult to attract anyone when i'm ranked 171st on the list!
